RedBull cars are still overweight but keeping up with Ferrari which is a good thing. We have weight to shed and Ferrari already having 2 years to develop this car with RB having a matter of months means they are in a better place. Mercedes are having fundamental issues getting performance out of the engines on E10 this shows with most of their cars at the back of the grid. 
 
Their main problem now is the design is frozen so they can only develop through aero and setup. Rumour has it there's a new floor going to Australia so that will be interesting. 
 
As for RB retirements I know the reasons and they were rectified pretty sharpish. It's ace to see Ferrari bang on the pace and Checo confident in RB18 but now. Ashame Merc are further back as a battle between 6 cars instead of 2 at the moment would be so much better. 
 
I am liking the rule change though, the Cars are easier to follow and will only get better as we go on 🙂 cant wait for Australia now. One of my favourite races 👍

So 2K are developing a load of sports based lego games, including a football game for this years World Cup, and an open world racing game (i'm guessing similar to Forza since they did the lego dlc for the latest version of that). I've always enjoyed playing the lego games, and though I think the racing racing one could be ok, i'm not sure how a football one would play, given that we are so used to the realism from games like PES and FIFA. It will be interesting to see where this goes over the coming months and how they market both games

Each game will probably have its own in-game casino knowing 2K..

Guilty pleasure quote incoming - I think the Lego games are massively underrated. Sure, they are aimed at a younger playerbase, but quite a few have been enjoyable to playthrough. Especially when my kids needed help or you could play co-op to solve problems. The completionist in me always looks at how they cleverly make all the levels in a way that you want to 100% them all the time, its great and frustrating all wrapped in one.

I've really enjoyed the ones i've played too. They are the only games i've ever got 100% of the trophies on too 😂

I'll set up a separate new megathread where I'm asking everyone to post up your 'FIFA 22 FG Fantasy Nights' on how you got on, with whoever you got on with (best to tag them) and hopefully when one of us picks it up we can award a medal to all FGers that were involved. Share abit about it, the laughs, the fails, screenshots if you want...it may help us work out what the next Achievements with Medals will be - could be a Assists, MotM performances or even most headset throws 😄

Nice Harold! We tried one of these a year ago, but I think it went badly because my wife hasn't got the patience for these book ones (whilst on holiday, drinking, lol) and they are probably more for our minds than the kids. Be good to know how you get on with the next ones mate!

Yeah man. Would be crazy upset. Big Ben making the playoffs in his final season is a great story but beating the #2 cheifs and advancing is just icing on the cake. 
 
I was at the Steelers final home game and I can’t remember a more awesome exit for a player. Everyone stayed for probably 20 mins or so just cheering him on.

Thats a sweet xmas haul @GazzaGarratt, should keep you busy gaming lol. I got some really nice bits too, not much on the gaming side though. Kim made a comemorative display for me and my youngests first live nfl game earlier thus year, got a falcons hoodies too, a couple of AEW tops, Dave Grohls new book, a new Shazam figure for the collection and some chocs and sweets 😁 i did pick up Far Cry 6 and Skyrim yesterday on a little shopping trip though lol

Got a book for xmas too, I'm not a massive reader some books either grab me or they don't but what I got for xmas has taken my interest.
It's Adrian Neweys "How to build a car", I find it interesting how people approach different problems with outside the box solutions. I'm not that far in but I am enjoying it at the moment 🙂

A new type of book I wasn't aware existed.  It's a detective book where you need to work out the answer. So far I've used my brain, Google Maps and Google Search to work out the correct answers.
 

 
Turning out to be pretty fun and I'm going to look at getting one called Journal 29, made by the same person.

Got some more done on the latest build this morning. I like to do a bit different design on each tube chassis I make so did a bit different lay out of the gusset/support bards on the side plates on this one and like how it turned out. Looks funny right now without the cab/upper cage built, but will start on those in a few days when I get time, gotta do some "real work" over the next few days

Finished the racing seat & driver for the new truck build project I'll be starting soon. I couldn't find a 3D STL file for a driver I liked, so I used a WW2 pilot file I found that had proportions I liked and then modified it a bit. I printed it at 65% infill so that it would be sturdier to work with so I could heat it up and bend it to the positions I liked then ran cold water over it to re-harden it in that position. Sanded down the helmet and added a visor to it to give it more of a race look. Painted up a drivers suit, and made a 5 point harness out of some nylon strapping. Steel tubing should be here by the weekend so I will be starting bending/welding up the chassis soon for this project.
