  3. So sifting through their bullshit. This is directly related to the cut (~30%) developers pay steam to host/ sell their games, plus it appears they will not have to issue refunds through their own system. (EU should murder that) If the game bombs on their platform you better believe it will silently pop up on steam and you won't hear about it ever again.
  4. If you tuned into the Fallout 76 panel during QuakeCon Saturday via Twitch, chances are you saw a lot of people in chat typing variations of “No Steam, no buy.” They were reacting to news that Fallout 76 won’t be available through Steam, and you’ll need to use Bethesda’s own launcher to play the game. Bethesda’s vice president of global marketing Pete Hines addressed the issue in a Q&A session with members of the press later on at QuakeCon. He said the decision has to do with the fact that Fallout 76 is an online game, more in the mould of ‘games-as-a-service’ than Bethesda’s traditional single-player titles like Skyrim and Fallout 4. “We’ve done online games before, we’ve done some games-as-service,” Hines said. “And with [Fallout] 76, it was just really important to us to have that direct relationship with the customer, that didn’t involve somebody else.” Hines says having PC players all using the Bethesda.net client to play Fallout 76 will give Bethesda a better ability to address issues that inevitably crop up in an online game, and they won’t be caught flat-footed by updates from third party software or architecture like Steam. “If there’s a problem, if there’s an issue, it’s on us. There’s no guessing,” he said. “There’s no, ‘oh, well somebody else updated something and now our thing doesn’t work and we have to wait to fix it.’” “It’s our game, it’s our problem, and we can talk to you directly,” Hines said. While Hines didn’t mention it during the Q&A, another benefit – for Bethesda, at least – is that running Fallout 76 through Bethesda.net means the company won’t need to fork a share of sales profits over to Valve. But Hines said the move will make it easier for Bethesda to provide customer service, since they’ll be dealing one-on-one with customers and their accounts, rather than through a third party. “We want to make sure, on PC, that we are providing the best level possible,” he said. “I’m positive we won’t get it all right, but I’m also positive that we know that we’re the ones who will have to fix it and do whatever we have to, and not be influenced by anybody else.” The Fallout 76 release date is set for November 14, and it will be available on PC exclusively through Bethesda.net. https://www.pcgamesn.com/fallout-76/fallout-76-not-on-steam?amp
  5. Nothing. Wasn’t a complaint, sorry if you took it that way. Giving my honest opinion. I’m not going to say the game is loaded with content. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. TFW you farm the raids almost weekly. [emoji108]
  7. Sorry about that. I was online but totally forgot about it due to trying out Monster Hunter.

  9. What's your Uplay ID?
  10. Siege is obviously my first choice. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Deej has to be one of the most uncomfortable community managers in the history of modern video gaming to be on air. They need to make sure he just stays behind the keys.
  12. A lot of cool stuff, crucible is really going to be more enjoyable.
  13. So we brought a friend into the MP beta and said "okay here's the egg hunt, you don't really win it your first time". The fucking guy beat me, two other people and all of the devil children. I was heated.
  14. So my wife saw this thread and had a few questions. If you’re wanting to upgrade my wife could be curious buying your current camera body but only if it’s full frame. Second, and she’s also curious what 35mm Prime Penske you have. She uses an 85mm f/1.4 prime but wants a 35mm. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. www.ccsesports.com twitter.com/ccsesports twitch.tv/ccsesports youtube.com/ccsesports discord.gg/ccs North America- Wednesday & Friday starting at 20:00 ET. Europe- Monday & Wednesday starting at 19:00 BST. Cyberathlete Championship Series, or CCS is a an event organizer I co-founded back in May of 2017 with a former Rainbow 6 Pro League player. (Who has since departed) We are essentially another major league for Ubisoft and Rainbow Six Siege. (Albeit smaller compare us to an ESEA/ Star League to the behemoth known as ESL) Our third season will be ending in September and we've all but secured funding for season four to actually make ourselves more attractive than ESL's Challenger League. (I cannot say the prize pool for both North America and Europe but it's going to be insane) ESL Pro League > ESL Challenger League/ CCS if you're wondering about the level of competition. Our league boasts a lower age requirement and it's lead to a handful of our young players finding spots on Pro League teams as soon as they turn 18. (Our age limit is 16 and older, while ESL is 18) This has pretty much been my life outside of playing Rainbow Six weekly since December of 2015 when it came out. I have a staff of 30 volunteers who work their asses off as well as some contracted talent which I cannot do myself or find a volunteer for. So yeah, check it out some time. I know Rainbow Six has been long dead in this group since Overwatch came to town but I still say there's no FPS better.
  16. I wanted a Google Pixel 2 XL, but when my wife renewed our contract there was a buy one- get one from for the iPhone X so I went with that. It's an iPhone so you know that whole deal. Solid phone in a controlled ecosystem, no complaints but nothing I would rave about. Face ID is terrible if you have glasses as I need to put them back on for it to work so that's slightly niggling. I really do like the notch at the top of the screen. It use to just be wasted space.
  17. You couldn't pay me to touch Call of Duty or pre-ordering a game, let alone a pre-ordering Call of Duty.
  18. There's a pretty basic and solid gameplay for success based on certain plants that really take a lot of the worry away. In Spring save as much money, forage everything, plant some basic stuff until the egg festival and blow all of your money on Strawberry seeds. Strawberry – 500 gold profit per crop // Obtained during Egg Festival (Spring 13th) Save up all of your profits, invest in the next watering can and Blueberries are your summer crop. Blueberry – 880 gold profit per crop // Purchased at Pierre’s General Store Fall is a little different, you buy a rare seed/ obtain a rare seed and save it until you can get the "seed maker" then you are just mass producing these seeds. The main crop to plant however is going to be Cranberry. Rare Seed – 2000 profit per crop // Purchased at Gypsy Wagon Cranberry – 1101 profit per crop // Purchased at Pierre’s General Store Winter is about mining and if you can get the greenhouse in year one, which is hard to do you go rare seed nuts inside of it.
