The Dutch were poor. First team ever to win all three group games and lose in the next round. The Portuguese took too long to get going and their best players simply didn't produce the goods when it mattered.

The Xbox UI leaves a lot to be desired. I used to like the old 360 system but the current one is a mess. My TV supports 4k and 120 but I've only played Forza 7 so far, which is a great game but not as good as Gran Turismo imo. The game pass is going to save me a lot of money I think.

Nice one, I have an inkling as to what GreBones will be going for. So I wont be expecting to find Toyota as a choice 😁 @jordie1892 our choice will be after that. Let me know what you fancy. I'm favouring either Aston Martin, Peugeot or Nissan but I'm up for whichever you prefer.

As it's likely me that'll be setting them up I would say as follows: The only time there will be mandatory pit stops is when there is a requirement to use two different types of tyres, which won't be often. But will happen at least once. Other than that, if you can make a no stop work then go for it.

So, whatever the result tonight, England are already through, so slightly less pressure. It's possible a fixture against a team from group of death F is possible but then again we all remember Iceland, so drawing a seemingly easier team isn't necessarily a better option. A replacement for Mount has been forced on Gareth and I'd drop Sterling too, to see what someone else can offer in that position.

It's pretty much the same game but in a different setting and now with their version of ray tracing. Change Britain for Mexico. Some don't like the how you do the campaign but it's pretty straightforward.

The Streets will be one big city map, although another one, Lighthouse, is dropping first I believe. There are about 7 or 8 maps you can choose from when you want to spawn in to Tarkov, some bigger than others...but while the am is to link them, they're all independent right now.

It's going to be a while before I upgrade my 1080ti and I fancy some games with Ray tracing. But yeah, it's really a non essential purpose from a tired brain 😁

I can do a lap of the Nord in super softs in about 7 minutes. Not using the GP layout takes off a bit of time as it's not the 24 Nord. However, the fuel will only last 4 laps, so either fuel saving or a pitstop will be needed in the race. Super softs are good for 2 laps, a third is doable but a bit dicey towards the end.

We discussed an endurance race last week, which would be a 60 minute race. As preparation for that I've put in a 40 minute race. Next week we'll do a full endurance and then hopefully the week after that the Summer Season can begin. Race 1 Nurburgring Gr.3 5 laps Tyres x3 Fuel x 3 Any tyres Race 2 Tokyo wet one

It allows you to play with a maximum of 8 people. Which is a shame but better than 4. If a few people say they'll pick it up then I will too👍 -

Football fans, fickle? I won't hear a word of it🤗 I haven't seen any calls to get rid of Southgate but it doesn't surprise me, the England team always gets built up and it's always unrealistic. There's a lot of good teams and anyone can beat anyone on a given day. And then when the pedestal gets kicked away because the team don’t win every game convincingly, people feel cheated. A lot of people lose perspective and then behave like children. It's always the same. The 1990 semi final team, you should have seen what they said about Bobby Robson during the group stages. Disgusting. Also. How many times have we heard in these tournaments the media say English players don't have the same technical ability as blah blah blah it's all bullshit designed to provoke an emotional response. I never listen to it. It just winds people up and now they wind themselves up online arguing instead of getting behind their team. I won't mention the booing of players before the game as that's another kettle of fish.

Interesting results yesterday, gig scoring game between Germany and Portugal. Italy versus Wales later, should be a good test and I expect goals from both teams.

So, I had a zombie day yesterday after my neighbours partied all night until the morning in a big tent in their garden, and I ended up buying an Xbox Series X. The game pass is just too good a deal to ignore and it was available from Smyths while I was randomly checking availability of that and PS5. I'll still be getting a PS5 at some point, but probably not until the new Gran Turismo comes out, there's no other exclusive game on that console that makes me have any need for it right now.
