    Well, good news that the Xbox version is fine, people are already playing it and giving the thumbs up. The PC version will possibly be an issue for me and my 1080ti but it should just mean some lowering of settings. The last game I pre-ordered was the CyberPunk debacle a few years ago but I've throw caution to the wind and got the ultimate edition on Steam (eventhough can play it free via gamepass lol)

    Unlocks 4pm tomorrow (Wednesday) UK time. I've heard from early receivers it runs well. I've booked the rest of the week off work lol so I hope no issues... I have it pre-installed on Xbox, it's doing an update right now as it happens. But I also have it on Steam, which is where I'll play it properly.

    All the quests are varied they're done very well. There's often a funny story behind them. Now that offline has progression I'm even kitting my hideout properly for the first time. I'll get you on with me one day 🤣

    I've also tried Half Life 2 on the SteamDeck, plays really well.

    Tarkov and being busy in general have conspired to keep me away from this game. But I have done about half the campaign and it's the best one in years for me.

    I'm kind of inclined to follow non Spurs teams if one our youth players is getting a run out. I see Dane Scarlett is finally getting a run out at Oxford Utd so I'll be hoping he helps them hang on in the Championship. We have a few others in other teams but I've been watching Dane a while now and he needs to step up. Couple of recent goals should help...

    Great Halloween week in Tarkov which has just ended. Totally addicted to this game since summer finished.

    For me personally this is the biggest game release in many years. Not been this impatient to play a game since Fallout New Vegas. They better not fuck it up 🤪

    I tend to take internet opinions with a pinch of salt. So much online now is just clickbait for views and clout. And nothing feeds the algorithm more than fear or anger. But yes, I'd say if they dropped the name Dragon Age and made it clear it was being pitched at a teen audience there probably wouldn't have been so much drama around it. Just call it Veilguard, that's a decent name for a game all by itself.

    Not mega old, 2007 I think? GTA 4. I've been playing it on the SteamDeck. Forgot what a good little game it is. Some of the dialogue between Niko and Roman is hilarious and it's much more brutal than I remember. Poor Vlad 🤣

    I've played a bit on Xbox as well, feels so weird using an Xbox controller for COD again. Played the campaign, it's decent so far but only done three chapters. Played a round of Zombies solo and got confused right at the end as I thought you just extract but it generates a helicopter exfil. I've not played multiplayer yet but I hear it's pretty hectic with a low ttk?

    Testing the waters to see if anyone's up for some racing, can possibly do Thursday if this day is tricky but let's see how it goes...

    The new map is about to drop. I've heard it's quite a ball ache and you need to light a fire every 30 minutes to stop from freezung but I'll likely give it a go.
