  1. Speaking of mods, my favourite mod - DayZ - had been recreated in Minecraft:
  2. The beta has kind of put me off the game. Didn't enjoy the PVP but the PVE was pretty good, so long as the other players do their bit, had some trouble with randoms. I don't like the jumping and hanging in mid air but I suppose you get used to it. I only played with one other FGer and he quit the strike mission we were playing before it finished.... so yeah if that's how it's going to be then I don't think I can be arsed. Maybe PC if I find a nice deal[emoji5] Sent from my SM-N9005 using Tapatalk
  3. Sorry dude, haven't a clue what that might be, I'm sure someone here will know something though Sent from my SM-N9005 using Tapatalk
  4. Best team in the world in the same way Iceland are better than England [emoji12] I hate Real Madrid, the kings of spending to victory.... so nice one[emoji106] Sent from my SM-N9005 using Tapatalk
  5. Flicking through the tv tonight I came across this on BBC4. Quite surprised to find a factual portrait of anarchism on mainstream telly. "Carne Ross was a career diplomat who believed western democracy could save us all. But after the Iraq war he became disillusioned and resigned. This film traces Carne's worldwide quest to find a better way of doing things - from a farming collective in Spain, to Occupy Wall Street to Rojava in war-torn Syria - as he makes the epic journey from government insider to anarchist." http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b08z007p
  6. With the closed Beta almost ready to drop I finally bit the bullet and early accessed the game. I think they're taking the Michael a little bit with some of the packages and hidden charges so I went for the basic start up. Once I get in I'll report back here on how it's going.
  7. I just checked again and it's actually £43. Soz I currently have access to the following: Arena Commander This is mostly ship battles v AI and other players and races.... and not part of the main game. It's essentially the mode to get you used to flying a spacecraft and has a tutorial. Star Marine This is the first person shooter mode, in and around space ports, you end up fighting partly inside a controlled environment and also some in the vacuum of space. Star Citizen Universe This is the main MMO game that we're all waiting for. There are some missions involving clearing pirates from attacking comms satellites, a detective mission, and a few others. It's not a massive amount of content but this will change with 3.0 an the introduction of an economy and occupations etc. As I was an early backer I also get access to the separate single player game (Squadron 42) but new players now have to pay for this as a different package. It has Mark Hammil and Gary Oldman so I'm looking forward to it. Plus Rich has worked on that side of the game SC is coming together and they've had to learn and create new ways of doing some things, I can't see it being completed for a while yet but 3.0 will be a big move in the right direction.
  8. Spurs are playing a few games in the US this week. Played PSG last night in Orlando. Beating them 4 - 2 with a couple of beauties from Toby and Eric makes me worry less about new signings [emoji4] Sent from my SM-N9005 using Tapatalk
  9. One of my favourite ever games on PC. The melee and parkour were tip top. Sent from my SM-N9005 using Tapatalk
  10. If i was betting man I'd say it'll be September or October before 3.0 drops...but you never know. I read that a games jounalist was the first non CIG person to land on a moon on 3.0 and he was blown away. I'll probably upgrade my ship soon as well, again, mine is one of the fastest ships but the weapons are like pea shooters. They're effective but slow and I think I'll need more firepower [emoji5] I'm on at least once a week. There's an epic amount of trolling that one can do at the moment. One of the missions is a detective type mission where you have to visit an abandoned spacestation to find out what happened to someone's husband. You have to leave your ship and at the moment the ships don't have locks. So stealing other players ships is fairly rife [emoji5] Sent from my SM-N9005 using Tapatalk
  11. Silly me thought he'd already replied to this. For about £35 now you get instant access to the universe and a half decent starter ship. It's all starting to come together. Working with Amazon, developing it's own version of the Amazon Lumberyard engine and using Amazon's servers as an awesome move. I jump in at least maybe once a week to keep my piloting skills up to scratch. Can't wait to play this with you Lee[emoji109] Sent from my SM-N9005 using Tapatalk
  12. Only if Diddums is driving. I'd drive with Dave to the gates of hell (or Birmingham as the locals call it). Sent from my SM-N9005 using Tapatalk
  13. I don't know, my travelling options are limited. I get a nosebleed if I travel further south than the river thames and the same if I travel further north than watford.
  14. Currently on sale for £9.99 and free on Steam this weekend to try out. Wasn't a fan of the multiplayer but as a single player shooter, really highly recommend.
  15. Morning all, it's Friday[emoji5] Sent from my SM-N9005 using Tapatalk
  16. It's fine on Tapatalk but via browser - while part of me appreciates seeing all the threads - there's a lot of information to work through and it probably looks a bit chaotic to new or prospective members. Keep the Minecraft forum though please. Sent from my SM-N9005 using Tapatalk
  17. Yep, pretty weak. Smacks of someone taking something badly and then realising they've over reacted and tried to limit the damage. Stick to making the game better dude[emoji5] Sent from my SM-N9005 using Tapatalk
  18. Looks like we may end up with Barkley. Not sure about him personally as he comes across as a bit of a thug. Need to get Sissoko to either play like he's worth 30 mil.... or jog him on. I like that we have a young and stable team and hope we can keep hold of the coach, I like Poch a lot.[emoji123] Sent from my SM-N9005 using Tapatalk
  19. Played Strike with a couple of randoms who spent half the time dancing in front of each other. Enjoyable mode though, think I may prefer coop missions to PVP. The graphics are a bit too busy, trying too hard to make the game look flashy. Shooting mechanics are decent. Agree with Chris regarding the boost jumps, very sluggish. I like to explore maps for hidden stuff to collect, no sign of that in this game but I can't stop myself searching. I'll give PVP ago tomorrow if I see anyone about[emoji5] Sent from my SM-N9005 using Tapatalk
  20. I did a run through as Hunter and then again as Titan. Titan for me so far, though I'll probably try Warlock out too, tomorrow Sent from my SM-N9005 using Tapatalk
  21. Well now, Spurs have announced the prices for seats at Wembley. Piss takers. They already sold 40,000 season tickets and they're still trying to screw every penny out of the sad sacks who'll pay £75 to watch a football match. When we return to the the new stadium "next year" I suspect it'll be more of the same. Much as I hate Wet Spam, at least they don't rinse their fans in the stadium we all paid for. 22. I heard the little ginger prick managed to annoy a lot of people. This is good [emoji5] Sent from my SM-N9005 using Tapatalk
  23. Sorry man! Sent from my SM-N9005 using Tapatalk
  24. I'm all for the minimal UI. irl opening and closing a backpack to access inventory does actually take time. Provides immersion rather than detracts. So yeah, i prefer the non arcade version[emoji6] Sent from my SM-N9005 using Tapatalk
  25. Morning densiteers[emoji32] Sent from my SM-N9005 using Tapatalk
