  1. Very wise. In fact I saw that BF2042 was going for as little as £5 quite recently.
  2. Yep, first two were excellent and had a certain charm to them, I enjoyed them a lot. If I want a Borderlands experience I can always go back to them, 2 still holds up really well.
  3. Games have literally doubled in price in the last 10 years and i'm being a lot more careful where I spend my money these days. I'll be hanging back and see how BF6 plays out before I consider it. But yes I agree, Battlefield used to serve a particular niche that they seem to be turning their backs on. It looks like a decent upgrade on COD but its not Battlefield any more. Such is life 🙃
  4. They'll always be Cheatski to me, a nothing club until the Russian gangster came along to launder his dirty money 🤪
  5. BF6 battle royale info
  6. I've not really bothered watching this games promos as I got bored with the series and don't like mandy prickford who makes it. Looks much the same other than it seems to need some optimisation, pretty standard these days lol
  7. Its on GamePass but not sure I'll play it, I never finished the original, but kudos to them for selling it at a reasonable price : )
  8. Nuno gone at Forest, looks like Ange will be taking over. Funny old game 🤪
  9. I'm so happy they've made a documentary about John Candy, he was a star imo : )
  10. The first football manager video game came out in the early 80s on ZX Spectrum and Commodore 64 and was recently re-made for mobile.... and completely under my radar was also released on Steam last month. I played it when I was 10 years old 😍 It costs £4.99 and I've bought it to play on SteamDeck. Expecting nostalgia to take over when I try it out in a bit. I loved the original, so let's see if I can take York City back to the 1st Division 🫠
  11. Bye bye Daniel Daniel Levy steps down from role as Tottenham executive chairman - BBC Sport Daniel Levy steps down from role as Tottenham executive chairman SHARE.GOOGLE Tottenham announce Daniel Levy has stepped down from his role as executive chairman at the club.
  12. He got so angry he even made a song 🤣
  13. Nah, I call it First Shite. How the hell does he get into that venue with no-one seeing him? Is everyone selectively blind and stupid because he's Bond? Ludicrous 🤣
  14. My current stats in Tarkov, these are my main character stats i.e. my PMC named Makhno, who is the BEAR faction. I've been playing on and off since alpha (back in 2018 I think) but the last few months it's been my main game. I do also play as a Scav but I use that character as a loot collector and that's another 100 raids on top of this, which has a slightly better survival rate but lower KD.
  15. As there's been a few updates and it's on gamepass I've downloaded this to my Xbox. I need some variation in my gaming and so I'm hoping this floats my boat for a while : )
  16. Now live, here's the patch notes
  17. Yeah i think with the money they've spent, if they finish the season trophyless I'd see Arteta's position becoming untenable. Personally I hope they keep him ; )
  18. The Guehi deal looking like it may be off, which is interesting. The only place LFC look even slightly vulnerable is at the back. I'm surprised no-one else went in for him as I was hearing they were getting him for 35m.
  19. There's no doubt its a decent game, I enjoyed the first three GoWs, but just kind of shocked at how dated it looks...
  20. Its free on gamepass so I downloaded it yesterday. I swear it looked better when I played it on Xbox 360.
  21. New update looks pretty decent : )
  22. At this point developers need to start investing more time in optimisation, its all very well having a great looking game but pointless if it runs like a turd. Is it true they updated the game but not the controls? I hear its quite fiddly in places. 70+ quid too. Yeah no thanks.
  23. Oh dear, what's going on in Manchester? GRIMsby times apparently 🙈
  24. I totally agree, there's a lot of strong teams this season with a lot of cash being splashed on players, with probably more to come before the window closes next Monday. Arsenal and Liverpool probably fighting it out for top spot, with Chelsea, Man City, Newcastle, Spurs and Maybe Forest in the mix again for the rest of the top 6. I would have said Villa and Man Utd too but they both look a little off the pace so far. Thomas the Frank Engine has done a good job so far for Spurs, he's even getting the best out of Richarlison....and I think we'll do a little better than last years 17th place 🤪
