  1. Also, Mike if you have Whatsapp, PM me your number so we can make waves faster.
  2. I cannae fucking wait. I need a decent pissup again.
  3. It is known to happen though, and at this point I'm just trying to eliminate the most obvious things first.

  5. I swear to god Mike, if it's something as silly as this I'll get on a plane to Merica tomorrow just to put my hand on my belly, point at you and give you my dumbass laugh. Go try it. Go try it now. I wanna get this sorted.

  7. It'll never work, trust me. Gamers won't let that shit fly, there are millions of us, and if 1% of those get pissed off enough to actually do something, you can expect all sorts of hacking shit to be all ove rthe internet in no time.
  8. HDMI is HDMI. If Sony started putting protection on that then millions of tellies worldwide wouldn't be able to display anything. The signal will be the same no matter what, there's no changing that. Shove a PVR inbetween and voila. Only problem might be once stuff starts getting onto the 'tube. Youtube might start taking clips off once Sony starts having a little moan, but we're in need of a replacement for Youtube anyways, so this would be the perfect opportunity for someone to start something up.
  9. Record, yes. Stream, no. Do you guys really think that Sony will be able to take away recording? An adapter will do the trick, get back to recording, and voila. If the PS4 comes with a built in PVR it'll be crap, mark my words.
  10. Mike, the FPS results you sent me woulc indicate that your GPU is working fine. I need you to watch a clip on Youtube, full screen, 1080p, and let me know if it stutters as well. If it does, it could well be the telly. If not, then its back to the drawing board.
  11. Wow, look how clear that water is! Very nice old man, very nice!
  12. Any news? Also Mike, you are aware you don't *have* to install all your games at once, right? Multiplayers, fine, but if you're going to play a campaign, then install it, finish it, and remove it before moving on to the next one. I try not to have more than 200gb worth of games installed at once, I've got the same size HDD as you and when it gets really full it slows down noticeably.
  13. Sweet dreams my sweet sweet gents.
  14. Turn pc off. Wiggle EVGA card a bit into its slot. Try again It might have come loose during shipping. K, bed.
  15. Absolutely not. Pwn did a great job, except for the bits that are loose and falling out. Lulz. I'm only joking pwn, your efforts made this possible in the first place Should be an easy fix, but pwn is all over this and I need to be up in three hours so imma go sleepies.
  16. This is a very severe "gpu no worky" issue. You should max all those games out at a bazillion FPS. Especially lol.
  17. If you're plugged in to the HDMI then you're running on the GPU. Pwn, did you install the drivers?

  19. Doesn't the 660 have an HDMI? *googles*
  20. BAHAHAHAHA Pwn you crack me up man, after all the time and effort you gave to us, to be so worried about a disc drive is silly! Don't sweat it dude, I'll send you some cash tomorrow to mail it, and I'll chuck in another bottle of vodka so you can drown your totally unjustified sorrows As for the lag, if Mike's using the on-board GPU rather than the super epic GTX 660 I'm going to laugh my ass off. That's like having a ferrari and driving it on the starter motor. I just hope that's what it is. Otherwise it's probably drivers or something else silly. Stop sweating it dude, Mike's still relatively new to the whole PC gaming scene so things that might be standard knowledge for you and me are still new territories for him. Don't worry Mike, we'll get your sorted in no time!
  21. I'm off to bed in a few minutes, I'll take a look tomorrow.
  22. Ok, your drive isn't connected, or something else is wrong. Open up the case and check if there are two cables plugged into the drive. One will go into your motherboard and the other into your power supply. It's got power, because it spins up, but Windows isn't detecting it so it's probably a loose cable. Open up the case, post a photo of the isides up in here and I'll show you what to do.
  23. Click Start > Computer. Does the drive show up there? And you could definitely hear it spinning up when you stuck a CD in it? Sounds like it could be a loose SATA cable, nothing major. Let me know.
  24. All join the same server with the IP.
  25. Nah, give it to whoever you want man. You'll see with the Origins bundle that you get codes for both Steam and Origin for all the games except BF3 and the Sims. Redeem the ones on Steam, and you can give the Origin codes away too
