  1. I sent him a message on Whatsapp to let him know what you said. I'd love to have him back on the forum. I'd like to see him and Bart both return. 😕

  2. I hope one day it gets released as this would be a travesty. GoldenEye 007: Footage of Cancelled Xbox 360 Remaster Discovered - IGN WWW.IGN.COM A full playthrough and thirty minutes of multiplayer have surfaced for the cancelled Xbox Live Arcade remaster of the N64 classic GoldenEye 007.

  3. Apparently the original is getting slightly more attention whereas 2 and 3 are just getting visual upgrades. Any excuse for EA to charge another £50! A few press have seen the game in action and the non-shills don't seem too impressed by it. I probably would've got the original if it was a £15 standalone.

  4. The original on N64 is one of my favourite games of all time. They really did a good job with the Xbox 360 port from what i see here. Never managed the Egyptian level personally 😡 Multiplayer was hilarious with all player screens on one TV😅 Now though, I'd be more interested in a complete overhaul, particularly the shooting, as I don't have an N64 controller 🙂

    2020 PS wrap-up

Hey All, I found this today and thought it would be interesting to share if people want. Your 2020 Wrap Up Most of my year was on CoD it seems and then some FIFA hours I'm guessing towards the end of the year when we started pro clubs. Let's see who has played the most hours!

  6. I can't stand mobile games. There, just thought I'd share that happy fact. 😅 Oh yes, and please ask @JsinOwl to come to the forum and say hello. He's missed and he'd find a nice bunch of newbies he hasn't met yet🙂

New phase, new block, new goals. Bench went ok, still have a slight niggle in my left trap but it didn’t stop me. IMG_1002.MP4

  8. I ditched the whole AC franchise years ago and only recently got back into it with Valhalla (cause Vikings), but ever since this game came out to this very day I still see people talking about how good it was. And it’s got me wondering if it’s worth picking up for the ps4 after all these years? Anyone played it much that could give me some input at all?

  9. I see that they might be redoing the combat for the first one as well as visuals. It'll be cheap S chips a few months after release. But @RenFengge I do get what you mean about introducing someone new to the series. It's definitely worth that. The first game came out pretty early in the life of the 360. The story, characters, context (I remember laughing at seeing anti alien protests by groups of humans) made me love it from the moment I started playing it. And many people love the multiplayer in the later games...

  10. I think the point is for BioWare to get some love from BioWare fans wondering wtf happened to them. Seeing them remaster the Mass Effect trilogy is interesting to me for a host of reasons. 1) I played Dragon Age first before Mass Effect. The difference in graphics is astounding between the games. I wondered why Dragon Age had shitty graphics. Then I realized BioWare was more concerned with Mass Effect visuals. 2) One of the absolute frustrating things for me on playing the Mass Effect trilogy on my computer was the wonky bugs that broke numerous save files for me when approaching certain scenarios. It was infuriating to lose basically 3 hours of gameplay because you couldn't just go back to a save to salvage from the bug, you had to go back to before the mission. I look forward to a clean playthrough on the new PC that is coming for me. 3) I want other people to experience this. @TurboR56Mini is now a much more experienced gamer than when I first tried to get him into Mass Effect. Does he like actual single player games? No. He's a multiplayer gamer through and through and probably really only that. But, my hope is that because I have also gotten him into sci-fi and space opera stuff, maybe he'll enjoy it now. Maybe he'll get through the first, love the second, and get feels during the final parts of the third game. 4) I am so absolutely tired of garbage games that are passing as decent single player games. Maybe this will remind people what great storytelling can be like... so I don't have to wait for gemstone studios like Guerilla or Bend to Sucker Punch to release some actually engrossing. The Mass Effect trilogy is amazing. I'm glad I played it after they fixed the ending. I don't think the mechanics of the first one were terrible, but then again, I'm an RPGer. I found the mechanics of 2 to be limiting but fun. I don't remember what the mechanics of 3 were. It's been a couple of years. Andromeda needed more time. But the development on Andromeda was as turbulent as Anthem. Like I've said, EA basically kills every studio they touch. Casey Hudson left again for a reason. If Casey saw nothing to salvage, this is a semi-decent swan song of BioWare doing a "greatest hits" thing.

  12. The UI, classes and skill progression is a cluster fuck of poorly thought out logistics. But the gameplay is decent enough, though I have disabled random enemy drones to ensure I keep enjoying it🙂

  13. I saw it on GamesplanetUK for £6.99 the other week but still didn't get it. If it goes that deep again then I may take the plunge. The original game was an absolute embarrassment but I hear they've overhauled many aspects since Crowbcat obliterated it. Still a huge step backwards form Wildlands by the sounds of it.

  14. Saw this on sale in the Ubistore and picked it up for £10 at the weekend. I do like how the bonuses you get playing games allow you to activate a further 20% discount. Wish Steam did that. They made a lot of changes to this game and playing it in Ghost mode yesterday was a lot of fun.

  15. My second attempt to watch that George Clooney Netflix film, the Midnight Fart. First time, on my own, I managed an hour before the rage it induced encouraged me to turn it off. Second attempt with Mina and we made it through the whole thing. My advice, save yourself 2 shitty hours of bullshit. None of it makes sense, so many holes, so many questions, it's basically Clooney wanking to himself in a mirror over his acting performance. Just 2 issues I have, out of many: Why, if they found a decent planet were there not a whole shit load of ships ready to take people into space? Why not wait in orbit instead of hiding in caves? Bullshit. Why, when you're surrounded by wolves, and shoot your gun to scare them off, would you then drop your gun, abandon it, like you're not going to need it again, when they will return in 10 minutes to eat you. Fuck off 🙂 Oh yeah, I now hate Sweet Caroline, the spacewalk scene almost had my boot in my tv👊

  17. Great ideas man like the sound of these! Being a defensive minded player I also like the idea of defensive play of the week (James bound to get it every week though with one of his two footed karate kicks! 😅 should call it the big tackle of the week!

  18. For me, it's probably the last traditional AC game and a good one at that. It was given away for free on PC a couple of years back so I grabbed it again after originally getting it for PS4. It's a bargain bin title now but still a great purchase. The game isn't bloated with generic quests like you get with Origins and Odyssey and the world isn't needlessly over-sized. There were no XP boosters back in those days either so the gameplay framework Ubisoft provide is much more satisfying and not designed around greed.

  19. Having played almost all of them, I would highly recommend Black Flag simply for the ship battles alone! Main character is possibly one of the most likeable in the series after Ezio. If you would enjoy being more of a pirate then an assassin then you’ll definitely enjoy Black Flag and from what I remember there was plenty to do with plenty of side quests and activities like Fort taking and fighting other ships in a storm amongst lots of other things. Really good graphics for the time (some of the views are pretty spectacular if you get through the island jungles) and it’s a good storyline if you enjoy that side of the game as well

  20. Thats great to hear its still going Dave. I'd love for it to have a little resurgence, albeit I know I struggle with mobile games in general. Who's the remaining active players may I ask?
