Ladies and Gentlemen and Euan, I would like to draw your attention to the fact that we are knocking on the festive season's doorstep, and that means festivities, family, friends, and perhaps most importantly, free games and gaming stuff! I personally have a decent stock of PC games to give away which I will be chucking in to the pot, but should anyone else wish to contribute towards making this an awesome festive season for all our members, you will notice that I have added a little donate button to the homepage. I would like to stress that I have this (almost) fully covered, but when it comes to gifts, the more, the merrier, right? If you are in a festive mood and would like to contribute something towards the pot of free stuff and joy, by all means go ahead. All the gifts will remain in this community so if you donate something, you can rest assured that it'll most likely go to someone you know. Whilst there is a monetary option, I am also collecting any game vouchers, PSN / XBL codes, or anything that can be sent over the internet and keeping them safe for when the day comes to hand out the gifts. The goal on the donation bar is purely for token purposes, I am unfortunately unable to create a donation option without having a target. I set it at 100 dollars to be safe, but should we surpass this, I will reset it and we can start again. I'm getting ghosts just because I want it to be like MW2 again - have me addicted and totally love the game. It will be cod's last chance for me lol. If it sucks I'll get BF4 and most likely never get another cod again.

User may experience a high last for several hours upon arrival in the gaming system, followed by several instances of rage but glossed over by the newness of the game. As the days roll on, the exploits of the game will be made known and trolls will squeeze every last drop of douchebaggery they can out of those set ups before they are patched; invariablly taking much longer than treyarch would patch them. But hopefully the "dedicated servers" will make up for it.

So who is up for a 1st prestige challenge this year? If so what will you guys be doing? I will once again be doing my ninja challenge (combat knife and tomohawk/throwing knife only). Hopefully the wise owl sees this and comes out of retirement to do the PPR again.

Ermagerd. I can't wait for this, this maps looks EPIC. It's a town, which gets flooded as part of the levolution system, which means that jeeps will no longer spawn, but boats instead. You can only move around in the water by swikking or using boats. Damn, this looks awesome. I NEED THIS DAMN GAME TO COME OUT NOW DAMMIT!!!!!! Also, I'll get to be wet with you guys. We can have lil buble bath parties n shit.

I think it will be much like a head glitch from past experiences with the feature on pc from a few years ago. Not sure how the transfer over to console will work, but at least there's the option to turn it off.

The "lean" option will be aotomatic when you ADS near the edge of cover. It can be turned off and on in the settings. So can the slide feature Source 7:30into video

Do they have trains in Florida?

If I pick it up 1) it'll def be for PC, and 2) I'd be really happy to play with you guys...except I'd be a bit hesitant with only a 20 person server. Aside for the graphics, the ability to play bigger games (read - more people) is one of the huge draws for BF on PC. With that said, if I do pick up the game I'd be more than willing to support the server financially. But I'm still undecided at the moment about whether or not I'm getting the game.

I'd definitely play on it.

I don't know is my honest answer. I have not had any problems on other peoples servers (BF3) and a server in the UK is probably not that favorable for me on the east coast. The server rotation often gets monotonous after a while as well so I like to mix it up. I'd say save your money but it's your money. I'm also not 100% sold on PC vs PS3. I'm still waiting for the reviews on the PC to see if the fixed the optimization issues.

So I was out drinking with some work colleagues in the middle of Glasgow last night. It was a leaving party and we start drinking at half 4. I was meant to leave for the half 7 train but when I'm having a good time drinking it's difficult to stop so I stayed a bit later. By midnight, I was mortal but still had enough sense to get the last train home at 10 past 12. I was rushing for it but got on the train just in the nick. Everything going to plan so far... An hour later, I'm woken up by a train conductor in Kilmarnock, 20 miles from Glasgow and my stop. He tells me to get out of the train and it takes me a couple of minutes to realise what's happened. The train leaves and I'm all alone. I phone my wife to tell her and she's, expectedly, not very happy. I go try an exit, padlocked. I try another, padlocked. I've never been to this station before, there's loads of doors and they're all locked. I tell my wife I'll phone her back. I find a small wall I can climb, but the road below is a 10 meter drop. At this point I'm panicing. I'm running all over the train station and I can't get out. I phone my wife again and she texts me the number for the train station's head office. "So you're stuck in the train station?" "Yes." "Are you sure?" "Yes." "I'll try and get someone to you but it may take a while as it's a Friday night." I sat there waiting on a seat for 20 minutes and I thought I'd go for one more look. I'm sobering up so I'm starting to think about things a bit clearer. Before I was running like a headless chicken but now I'm like Inspector Clouseau and I follow the Way Out sign. An exit, unsurprisingly, awaited me. It was beautiful, one of the best sights I've ever seen. How the f**k I missed it the first time I don't. I think I saw the sign the first time and looked at the door right next to it, rather than carrying on past the sign like you're meant to. The door was padlocked, probably because it was a store cupboard and drunk me isn't very clever. I take £50 out of an ATM and flag a taxi. "Where you going?" "Darnley." "Where in Kilmarnock is that?" "It's not, it's in Glasgow." I then spent 25 minutes driving home with the taxi driver, telling him my tale and trying to convince him I'm not an idiot. He stops the meter at £32 telling me that I've suffered enough tonight and he'll give me a discount for giving him a laugh. I get home, wifey looking not best pleased. I get a phone call 10 minutes later. "Is this Euan? Are you still stuck in the train station?" "No, I went out the exit." "Great news, enjoy the rest of your night." I then went to bed and texted Diddums to cheer him up on nightshift. FML.

Picked up some 1x3 select grade pine the other day and got that all sanded smooth/stained and poly coated now and installed to add a nice finished look to the window for the tank. Still have to pick up some Pond Armor so I can seal the whole background and then final install it into the tank but no where local carries it so looks like I am going to have to order that this week.

Regular, Vanilla, all the basic stuff. It's always easier to start building on top of that than stripping stuff that doesn't necessarily work or kills lower level pc's.

I absolutely love Disney. Been 8 times, the first was when my Daughter was 1 and my son 3. There now 15 and 17. Going with little kids is a blast because they think all that stuff is real. I feel like BO2 kind of ruined the excitement I used to get before CoD games came out. I'm really hoping this game has a multiplayer that I can just get caught up in for hours. And doesn't make me want to shoot myself, like BO2.
