Best Retro Game Soundtrack?

For the whole game, my favorite has to be Castlevania: Symphony of The Night.   The score in that one was just perfect for the game and really complimented the perfection that is SoTN.

 

A close second would be The Messenger.  Its catchy, mesh of 8-bit and 16-bit music really sticks in your head after a while, much like the classic NES games of old did. 

 

Honorable mention goes to the Octopath Traveler series too.  Only because I'm currently playing the second one LOL!

Oh man, this made me think of DKC 2 which @Findmartin and myself played the absolute crap out of so many years ago. Nice shares @Sir.Arthur!

 

 

The opening Rare music folled by KRool returns bit is class.
