‘Rebuilt from the ground up’ - what a load of bollocks

 

Even the most die-hard TLOU/Naughty Dog are pissed at this looking at some of the reactions. Aside from the slight texture rework, it’s the same game from nearly a decade ago. Same dated mechanics and animations and even the redone textures look low quality in places compared to TLOU2.

 

Complete and utter cash grab at £60/$70. Most needless release imaginable.

I couldn't even be bothered to finish the Remastered version again on PS5 so I very much doubt I'll ever buy these even at a steep discount. Looks really good but as said already, a completely unnecessary 'remake' of a perfectly good remaster and a waste of 3 years of resources. I really enjoyed the experience when I finished it the first time but for some reason I can never seem to get another playthrough done.
