Managed to grab a £20 copy of FIFA 21 (PS4 disc) which gives you a free upgrade for the PS5 version - just install the game and then download the free update on top. Not a fan of FIFA these days but the attention to detail and overall presentation is really sublime especially in the lower leagues. image.thumb.jpeg.83687ae1357b6f0c2ee93bdb687dcd20.jpeg

So its about a decent price at £20 now, especially of you have a PS5.

However, its good to know that if you ever want to play with someone on FIFA 21 that is on a PS4, for some reason this is only one I know that won't allow you to play with someone that is on a different version.

This is why all of us here playing Pro Clubs with FG is playing on the PS4 version.

Yeah, apparently if you're playing on PS5, you must not do the upgrade and then you can still play with other PS4 users using that version on the new console. Makes sense because the PS5 version has some extra elements such as new animations, celebrations and other gameplay factors so it wouldn't be technically possible to cross-gen this way. PS5 version is basically a different game whereas most other PS4 titles that you can 'upgrade' just benefit visually or in performance rather than in-game aspects.

You can still do the upgrade, just switch versions depending on what you’re doing. I play career and UT on the ps5 version, then swap back to play clubs with the guys.
