Release date of 1991. Its a reputable film and one which is out there based on all previous picks. Hope you all try to give it a go, its not normally what I watch but i'll definitely give it a good go. It has Cuba Gooding Jr, Ice Cube and Laurence Fishburne to name a few actors.

I don’t think I’ve ever seen this though quite funny seeing how young everyone looks.  It looks interesting though potentially depressing as, from the trailer,  the points it makes are still relevant today.

I've seen this film many times.  Still hits hard, the hardship one has to go through just to survive in the hood, something we never would see the likes off over here.  I guess it's still relevant today, I'm not sure if it's still like this today though, I always thought things had calmed down a lot over the years.
