Eminem: Music To Be Murdered By

Eminem dropped his new album and upon my first couple of listens, I really like this album.  I'm someone who loves 'The Marshall Mathers LP' and 'The Eminem Show'.  I didn't feel 'Kamikaze', some excellent songs but overall the album just didn't click for me.

 

This new album though I think is much better, some of his best work in recent years. If I had anything in which I wasn't keen on, is the that the album feels like it gets progressively slower, it starts out pretty strong but as the songs play out, tempo drops off.

 

Anyone else had a listen yet?

I’ve listened to a few of the songs but not the whole thing, I’ll do a proper review when I’ve listened to the whole thing.

 

I felt exactly the same about kamikaze, some absolute bangers but a bit disjointed.

Listeneed through the whole album day after it was released. It's an alright one but for me it's missing that one song that really gets you going. But that's just me 😛 I know Cal loved it.

Unfortunately I've just never warmed to his music. Felt like it was just a fad back in the day, when the likes of Limp Bizkit was getting number ones too. I liked the odd song, like most but I dont get a kick out of his rapping unfortunately.
