GazzaGarratt 11,049
Going round @Findmartin was a thing of beauty to play on his SNES and have a 5-set thriller on this solid tennis game 3 surfaces with lawn being my favourite, you would have to adapt your play towards the surface as well as the player. Your opponents racquet hand was one of the most telling features as it was difficult to play a Left hander if you were a Right hander. World Tour has to be one of the most defining features in early SNES games. Tournaments around the World and with a save feature via passwords (something that Prince of Persia was most memorable for) meant you could craft a season long tour to build on winning as many trophies as possible and a fine job if you could win across all 3 surfaces - Hard surface was a bitch with the CPU hitting top spin cross court winners. Phil was my favourite character, always aimed to get fast aces down the centre like Greg Rusedski the true brit he was *cough*. Always favoured playing at the bottom rather than the top end, over hitting shots was a big habit due to the perception on where you are and trying find the back corners. Still love playing this game today. Link to comment https://forevergaming.co.uk/forum/forums/topic/4197-super-tennis/ Share on other sites
