I forgot it even existed until I saw the new DLC pop up earlier and that does look fantastic but I probably wont be getting it or bothering with the game any time soon if ever again. I do actually think BO3 is the best Call of Duty for years and is laden with content along with being a really enjoyable game. I just found it a bit too easy at times and I think I've just outgrown the franchise and want to try other games from now on. I also think I'm a bit burned on FPS games in general. If this was two years ago; I'd be playing this non-stop but Ghosts and AW were the ultimate hard-on killer and BO3 hasn't quite managed to reel me in for the long haul like the games used to which is a shame. I've still notched up 75 or so hours and had a blast but I just don't feel motivated to play it and there's always other games that interest me more to dedicate my time. With Infinity Ward and Sledgehammer up next; it may have been my last Call of Duty game too... Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

It still seems to be the go to game to party up with other people The new map pack is ok. Zombies isn't quite doing it for me. techno 3,496 Posted March 4, 2016 Share Posted March 4, 2016 I'm still playing it a lot ( but that will slow down with the division launch) thoroughly enjoy the game after the boredom of ghosts and the utter garbage that was AW,plenty of challenges have kept me interested and it's just easy to mess about in with a couple of friends. Also fps games will always draw me in more than anything else. As for the dlc unless you really like zombies the map pack was utter garbage. Having a match where I'm tearing people up doesn't feel good because I know that on the other side of the connection they're probably suffering big time. Likewise it sucks balls being on the receiving end. I'd say for me games are split between 40% decent connection, 30% favourable connection and 30% GTFO connection. What irritates me the most is that at 10pm-ish every single night without fail the game somehow fucks up and it's lag central. Before then it's ass kicking time. Knowing that the potential for stable connections is there but is being withheld from us is what does it for me. I personally think that after Ghosts and AW lost a lot of the fan base so soon after release, Activision decided to run this one with much less server capacity as too much capacity would be wasted, then Treyarch actually made a good cod for once and Activision didn't allow them to upgrade the server capacity so we're spreading it around a bit. Sometimes you get a decent server connection, sometimes you get a shitty host-based connection which probably connects us to Juan in Mexico who then promptly shits all over us and sometimes Juan in Mexico connects to us, and we shit all over him. Fuck all consistency. That said, I really like this COD, I've had an absolute blast playing it and SnD will Euanisapoof and the rest will keep drawing me back, but solo play is off the table. It's just not worth the frustration. Don't even get me started on the cheap fucks that the community contains though. Cunts, the lot of 'em. Saying that i played one game of free for all the other night and got a super kill, so maybe i should roll on my lonesome a bit more. The only cod i didn't really enjoy was ghosts, i actually enjoyed AW a bit but not too much. I feel they've got a good balance in blops3, just need to find me some internets Cunts, the lot of 'em. I don't rage quit much but in the past week I've cut it off several times. The game has been good,really good. Feels like old CoD. Drifter 851 Posted March 5, 2016 Share Posted March 5, 2016 I got it about 3 months ago and I bet I have played half way through the campaign and maybe 1 hour total online multiplayer. I'm probably gonna sell it to recoup a bit of cash from it. To me I really think the game is the worst yet to be honest. I just can't stand the futuristic style of it with the flying crap and wall walks and the goofy exoskeleton stuff in the campaign. I long for the days of a boots on ground good ol fashioned round of MW2 to be honest. Just my taste though because I know a lot of people like it. Not me though. So many challenges I want to get done and I'm still really enjoying the game.
