Where is Xur and what does he have

This is stupid. Why the hell do we pay $60 a year when some tool will just take down the servers? If I miss Xur this weekend than I will definitely consider getting rid of my Ps4. For years played on pc and this shit never happened. They take down one server, you can play another game. Now, I can't play shit.

I put a bigger blame on Sony. How the hell does a billion dollar company let this shit Happen.

I went on Twitch and there are a lot of people streaming on PS4 Destiny. WTF!!! I still cannot get on and from what I see on here you guys cannot get on. I feel 2 days are wasted on progression. I can understand Xmas day it being down spending time with family and what not, but when thats all said and done and you want to sit back relax play some games and the servers are down for PSN is very frustrating. This Billion dollar company needs to get their shit handled. Microsoft is back online but yet Sony cannot get us back online. I got a $250 gift card and some extra money I just may go get a Xbox One.

Don't know how you can prevent this happening. I'm not a computer pro but, as I understand it, a DDoS attack is where the target is flooded constantly with access requests, presumably from bots, so it can't keep up and eventually overloads?

So it's not like you're trying to prevent one or two hackers getting in to to damage, it's more like the entire population of a capital city is trying to access the subway at rush hour through one entrance

Someone put me right if I'm off track please

Pretty much that PC.  LOIC was the weapon of choice a few years back, but that required lots of annoying kids all running that software and pointing at the same target.  I gather that this is more bot based, so people are most likely unaware that their machine is being used.  Once the traffic responsible is identified it should just be a case of filtering it out.  I guess the problem here is that PSN is built on a budget and that budget doesn't include a robust as hell firewall.  And why should it?  After all, they don't lose money.  You lose a few days off a subscription, but your anniversary won't change.

My biggest annoyance here isn't that the service was down, it was that they didn't acknowledge and update properly.  We all know what went on, why don't they come out and say it?  Tell us where they are up to?  My go they could even use humour, but the updates they posted were worse than no info at all.

Also, the only people so far to come out of this with any compensation, is the fucktard that did it.  Well I'm sorry Sony, but as a paying customer I think I'm entitled to something.  2 days extra?  A shit game? anything.  But accept it happened and that we deserve some form of recognition.  I had to play Advanced Warfare for fucks sake.  Do they even know how bad it is?

I've been pretty much tied up the past few days so it's not really affected me that much. With that being said i fully believe that some form of compensation is in order. Potentially the 2nd busiest day in PS4's launch and the online portion isn't there.

I'm not clued up when it comes to hacking but from what i gather DDOS attacks are the quick, cheap and effective method for creating a large scale disruption. This isn't another hack like we had years ago

As for changing consoles due to this, well i just can't understand that mentality. Technology is always going to have it's issues. This time it's Sony, next time it'll be Microsoft. Not saying it's acceptable but i think sometimes we need to take a step back and put things into perspective. It's the arrogant little fuckers of Liazard Squad that need some action taking against them

I haven't had chance to play just like stretch said but can understand frustrations. I have both next gen consoles and booted them both up yesterday - both not working correctly still. If some of you want to go xbox (my beloved home b4 ps4) then do it, but beware...

Thr Xbox One is the biggest let down in history for Microsoft and the simplistic design of tge ps4, even down to the UI kicks xbones balls off the touch. Oh, and forget the pikr if shat games out so far.

I signed in too, but didn't have enough glimmer to buy it :(

Who knows when it will come around again.

Ya, almost 8k to upgrade, luckily I still had around 14k. Hopefully I'll be able to play later as I've done nothing this week for strikes or anything

BEARDED, FOR HER PLEASURE
