But other than that, it played well. Should probably switch off matching with kb&m players and I found I was getting wrecked in mid to long distance exchanges while getting used to the recoil control. If we plan to play any more I'll need to get some practice in with a controller.

 

It's a massive shame there's no crossplay with PS4.

I was struggling a little bit, I'm not used to playing BF with a controller so much and I find it difficult to concentrate in a group chat. Nothing to do with the pair of wankers @Diddums and @Macca89 constantly reminding me of the football team I support, all fucking night 😅😭🙈

I just share for the sake of it as I know its not an FG game.

I jump on occasionally as I enjoy the shooting and it's a little more chill than CoD.

I quite like the movement, you don't get stuck on anything or have problems vaulting etc

 

As a whole I would say it feels less gritty and realistic as BF3 or BF4, not quite cartoony but almost.

I've been playing it on PS5 occasionally but now it's in a much better place I've also reinstalled on PC.

It's pretty decent right now, just needs more new maps. I get bored quickly with COD these days and find BF2042 a lot more fun.

Today BF went back to the old class system, plus a bunch of other stuff. Too little too late for most but I'll certainly give it a go.

Yep, can have a rotation or simply focus on one game mode and map.

I jump on BF2042 for the occasional game of Breakthrough. Lvl 45 currently.

Two new maps since launch and while both are great it's too little too late for most players.

The new map is excellent, highly recommend trying it out. Such a shame its only one. If that's all there's going to added map-wise until September, they'll have left it too late to save this game.

Apparently there are more changes than mentioned in the patch notes. Still amazed at how much they need to do.

I was playing the campaign over the weekend. Incredible how great this game looks and sounds.

Looks like they're dropping this game completely as I hear they're taking about a new Battlefield already.

 

Will be a cold day in hell before I buy another EA product if this is true.
