Saturday should be do-able, Sunday is a no go as it is my wife's birthday. I will jump in the game room about 8ish tomorrow once kids are in bed then 🙂

I've only played solo where not everyone shoots on sight but would be good to be in a group 🙂 I can be on over the weekend, just give me a shout when you're likely to be about. Maybe tomorrow evening? I have it on Steam but it does have crossplay, so that shouldn't be a problem. I reminded of that Fallout saying, Lee, Lee never changes 😅

So, after 7/8 years in early access Tarkov 1.0 gets released in just over a week. Finally releases on Steam too. Apparently there's going to be a storyline, they've been keeping things close to their chest so don't know much more than that. To experience the full version means I will have to wipe my character, which will be a fucker but I'll definitely be doing it.

I ended up picking this up @phil bottle if you are around at any point to jump on. I think it is really atmospheric and looks really good too. Did a couple of missions on my own and extracted with a bunch of gear and started building up my benches. Then played one with @GazzaGarratt & @Macca89 and Lee decided to take some walker thing on, some snitches etc after looting all the boxes so Macca had no loot to grab, we all lost our health to it then got took out by enemy players. I think my limited experience with Lee suggests he is not suited to the slower pace of these games and that you don't need to keep running off everywhere.

Its been around for some years as this is what I really tried hard to use right at the start before switching to manual ways of collecting the stats each week. EA actually stopped Pro Clubs Head from getting the data for a while in the API, which was a real shame but I think back then it was also because it would only keep the last 5 or 10 games we'd played and it would wipe previous games. I still used it for the team names we played back in the day (if you see some of the early articles stats pictures, the names were cut from there so we'd get the badges and full score 🙂).

They apparently sacked an entire studio for gross misconduct in relation to confidential information leaked online. Those employers are backed by a union but it's hard to tell whether this actually happened in which it is a severe breach of contract or Take2 are looking for an easy way out to cull more employees now the job is 95% done. I'd say it's the latter because I can't see how 40 individual people would collectively leak such information at this stage. It'll probably go to a tribunal and then Rockstar will just frustrate the process and try and pay them off limited compo and piss them off to such a degree, they wouldn't ever want their jobs back.

Is anyone bothered about delays anymore? Because I'm not. I know we're supposed to have less patience as we get older, but surely give all the time you need to make a game fully complete. 🤷‍♂️ That way, we also don't have to crunch staff either.

They're just another scumbag company that treats its workers like shit. Maybe this is because they worry that they can't force people into ridiculous long hours any more, as I hear their staff are trying to unionise.

Another 6 months until 19th November 2026 which is more than a year away.

I think the games played would be useful to have on there, otherwise it looks really good.

It is yes, this been around a while then? It takes stats from EA’s own pro clubs website so you could go direct too if you wanted It does, I just clipped a few stats from there, there are other breakdowns on there as well such as your win percentage playing for the club and such.

It doesn’t actually state how many games each person has played.

That looks like Pro Clubs Head?! Is it finally back working again?? If so, thats awesome. It won't pick up all the stuff we see and where we give assists where its probably the game not crdeting the player, but nice one for finding this as its still some fantastic stats to see! Also shows how MoMs and ratings are defo linked to goals and clean sheets for a GK. We did pretty well last night too, 2 whole promotions in one night 😄

So I got chatting with a new guy at work today and it turns out he plays quite a lot of clubs (in much better teams than us) however he has made me aware of a new website and I thought I would extract some bits off it from last night's session:- So for those wondering how we got on:- 10 games played, we won 7 and lost 3 so definately one of our better nights! & then one for @DrCasket at the end:-

It's definitely down to them trying to appeal to the COD audience. If I want to play COD then I'll play COD. I don't want to play a BF that's like COD. I play both of them because they're different to each other.

Its not a cheap game so definitely do your research. If you need any YouTube recommendations let me know 🙂
