Just another point on this. Its totally fair to have a usual playstyle and I like we all have a certain way naturally to play this game. Again, just like Destiny, the main winner of this lasting is for us all to have the ability to be flexible in a moments notice and play different ways. I can definitely do that. If we need to be serious and make sure we nail a few objectives next round or do nothing other than the one objective, as long as its clear at the start, I'd be more than happy to get behind the cause 🔥
-
I love how raged you were 🤣🤣🤣🤣 I get it, and in fairness I like to play in a group together in the main. It reminds me of Destiny and these little things is where it just shows people play in different ways. I've always been a person that has objectives, but will always be happy to help others first. The way the game is made is if I have no objectives, opening a few boxes, which essentially is the playloop, shouldn't be any issue. In some ways it can be funny why i'm such a magpie over little things. That game was hilarious but also reminded me that i'm extremely new to the game and still played far less than others. I'm going where I'm told - this one was the tower you told me to go for. I pressed a button downstairs and asked a few times what to do up top but no one answered or knew. There was no interactional buttons either. By then the big Bombardier was agro'd and then somehow blows 2 massive missiles at me for no reason! 🤣 I get downed once, and then fall down again. In the meantime, Tom goes and does the real dirty on the players next to us, sends them raging, only for one left to nail his ass reviving me 🤣 I mean, I had a free loadout and no way I was gonna take down that Bombardier with no guns or stuff....unless I looted! 🤣 I love the way @Diddums plays this tbh. You want to go after everyones objectives, but sometimes random shit happens and that makes the memories and experiences to remember. Plus he's not concerned about dying and once you let go of that risk/reward part, knowing you can get straight back in to the game in 1 minute, it actually becomes more enjoyable. Plus we get to have this ridiculous car crash memory now, mainly cos Tom agro'd some nice 'Don't Shoot' guys and they rinsed us back! 🤣🤣🤣

Tagging @GazzaGarratt as I want to talk about how people are playing this. Lee frustrated the hell out of me last night being completely unaware of his surroundings and going for loot first which in one round led to us being shot at by other players & me getting stamped on by a leaper. I very much play this game cautiously, being fully aware of what is going on in and around where I am exploring first and then I will try to find what I jumped into a game for whatever item or quest that may be. I am almost always turning my camera looking in the sky, listening out for the machines as what can being as one machine catching you out can very quickly due to the noise of combat draw in others and result in you being quickly overrun. To me that is great as the danger is there and every encounter can quickly go South. My frustration with you Lee last night was that you were busy looting when @LordBaguette had just said a couple of times that he was being shot at by raiders, at that point for me it turns the game from a looter into a survival PvP game. That flicks a switch in my head and suddenly you should be playing the game differently and on trios you need your squad otherwise you quickly get overrun but I have a vivid image of you being quite exposed, looting a vehicle with your back to the direction the gunfire was coming from. There is no point picking up loot to be shot in the back because you won't then be extracting with it anyway! I think what it taught me last night is that even when you are part of a squad, don't expect your squad to have your back and going forwards if there are enemies I will be getting into cover or getting out of there and potentially leaving Lee with all his loot to fend for himself. 😄 And we won't get into the fact we had a bombarder right next to us at the church destroying everyone, Lee decides to ignore it and climb up the church anyway to complete his objective not really knowing what he was doing or looking for and Tom decided to attack & kill one of the raiders who were being friendly and fighting it. Only for a few minutes later for said raider to kill him whilst he was reviving Lee who had fallen from the church because he was too fekkin impatient to wait for us to deal with the bombarder first!

This is a much bigger discussion here and you can't just limit this to the gaming industry, then it becomes a question of where does it stop. We all know that 'ai is coming for our jobs', this is literally happening as is evidenced by these calling cards and such. But then if you do it here you have to do it in all industries and then all these big companies and rich people will fight back and before you know it we have some bigger issue being discussed that is not actually dealing with the problem like what happened with Brexit We either embrace AI as a society which means we ensure that everyone has an income or home, food, water security first and then hopefully find roles for people in an AI predominant world or we need to be incredibly strict and limited with AI so that never really fully get's to where it can do. What in reality will happen in my view is the first point won't happen because rich people wouldn't want to be paying in their fair share of tax to support non-rich people and no limits will be placed on AI, as to where we end up then is anyone's guess.

Going to play on my solo world today, I want to figure out underground building, and I tend to do that in Freebuild modes.

This definitely has to be nipped in the bud. Why not hire a professional artist for the calling cards and have them work on them for 3 years exclusively and pay them $25,000 a year. US Congressman calls for regulations to 'prevent companies from using AI to eliminate jobs to extract greater profit' following Call of Duty: Black Ops 7's calling card fiasco | PC Gamer WWW.PCGAMER.COM "Artists at these companies need to have a say in how AI is deployed." Ubisoft were also caught today on the new Anno game.

Ah OK, so that's what the 23/24 under it means. So I'm one raid away. Thank you for that. Still learning

So I missed the community event to donate items for Stella Montis. It's in my map but it's greyed out so I can't deploy there. Will it unlock at a later time for me, or do I need to be at a certain level to play it?

So, a year after release they've finally got A Life working as intended. I will have to find time for it, it was already a very enjoyable game but now its proper Stalker, if still a little buggy in parts...😍 Goes live on PS5 in three days

I play mainly during the weekday. My work laptop is right next to my home pc. I might roll a new character. The game has changed enough in the last year that it almost feels worth it, just to learn the new things.
-
i assume Carl gave you the new one, if yes then we are still active on it, we usually manage to gather during the weekends to play together, 3 of us rolled new characters and La kept her old one, as for the flame upgrade i don't know or care that much tbh, you can join us on the central base we have, we also have another one at a POI and is gonna be good for farming since it's mostly level, but again, you are free to do as you please, we generally have a central one where all the storage and npcs are and use the rest that we build as teleportation points/sleeping/repairing stuff pretty much

If this happens then it will well and truly upstage anything Grand Theft Auto could do

I had not watched a film for a while but sat down and watched the greatest showman with my wife yesterday, I kind of enjoyed it more than I thought I would to be honest.
-
Watched a movie last night called "2067" Not really sure how I feel about it other than it reminded me of all the movies I used to watch early Saturday or Sunday afternoon. It wasn't bad, but it was definitely an early afternoon movie, not a late night movie. I dont' even know if that makes sense, but it's what I was thing the whole 2nd half of the movie.
-
Are you guys still active on this one, and if so, do you care where I setup? I am level 28 on my character, and can upgrade the Flame if you want me to, or if you prefer not, I totally get it. Edit: its super weird not having my waypoints out there, I need to wander around everything again.

The interface is so well presented and this feature is a huge help. After 20 hours, I managed to find apricots yesterday so I was finally able to remove it from my logbook and track something different🤣
