When this comes to PS5, I'll purchase it but not doing any gamepass malarkey for it. Looks decent and I agree that a chill open world area to chill and find stuff at your leisure is a good, different way to essentially create the opening menu UI.

Yeah gamepass has become too expensive - I’m not paying £23 a month for it. Especially when I’m only interested in FH6 and you can get a PC key for £40. It’s coming to PS5 at the end of the year apparently. So maybe a bit more FG interest then - though I didn’t realise that when I bought my PC key else I might have waited - oops 😅

FH5 was ok but I agree, preferred FH4. I also only played 5 on gamepass whereas I bought 4 and have it both on PC and Xbox. Since the ridiculous price hike for gamepass my Xbox has become kind of redundant but FH6 may be a purchase at some point, the reviews have all been very positive.

Pretty much, yeah. Did you ever play the open world NFS games? As it's basically like that. Or GTA if you can't get out of your car. An open world you can cruise around, find stuff, easter eggs, collectibles or things like speed cameras to try and go the fastest through or drift zone challenges to score the most points on a section of road etc. Though to progress the story you need to do actual races but, like NFS or GTA, you need to go to the place on the map to start them. The world is multiplayer too so you'll find other people driving around or you can set up convoys to cruise around with or take photos.

So can you just drive around in these and explore? I would love to have a chill driving game where I can just sit back and enjoy the view.

I'm surprised there isn't a thread on this yet given it's out in a a little over a month. There's some pretty good reviews coming out in the early previews highlighting the world variance and it feels more alive than previous titles. Slightly improved physics and tweaks to game modes with the inclusion of time trial that you can do on circuits that are accessible in free roam. I played FH4 a lot but didn't get on well with FH5 so much - playing it for a week or 2 when it was on game pass. I've decided to buy this one though so hopefully it's good 😄

Okay, so the mode where you clean out the high rise is fun. Tricky at times, but a lot of fun!

I might grab it this weekend, it is still full price, but I saw that mods were starting to come out, and I am a sucker for an Open World game with modding....

I just finished ASTLIBRA Revision. If you want a hidden gem, check this out. It’s a side-scrolling JRPG and the result of 14 years of work by a solo dev. The combat is fluid, the story is really good, and it has a great runtime. It’s a bit niche, but I loved it, even if my thumb is on the verge of tendonitis.

The game is predicting Both teams to score - (aka The Chris Kamara club) Pick 8 fixtures per week from the major English divisions. 1 point for a team in your selection that scores a goal or more. (16 points max) This current season there are 22 players all entering a 1 time payment of £10 at the start of the season which goes into a prize pool plus a small payment to the site running costs (shared small cost depending how many enter). I tend to agree. De Zerbi is volatile, who knows how long before he has another tantrum...plus he stands up for domestic abusers, just lovely 🙈 Honestly the people at the top of the club are totally clueless. We have ex-Arsenal chief Vinai Venkatesham as our CEO. He's has a commercial background and knows sweet FA about football. Plus he has overseen the worst financial results we've ever had. His time running the Arse corresponds with their worst performing years in the Premiership. And fans thought Levy was bad.

You can also adopt them and dress them up as well... There is a bit of a thing online of people amassing collections of them 😄

I feel like the PS5 has never really got into its stride, its just a slightly faster PS4 as far as I'm concerned...with the PS5 Pro being more in line of what it should have been...and with talk that to really be able to enjoy the next GTA its best to have a Pro, which is currently around £700 🙈 and they're already talking about PS6 being on the horizon 🙃

I was busy this weekend and didn't get much chance to game but I did manage a couple of hours last night. Really enjoying the game so far, I'm still exploring the starting area, I've been sneaking into manor houses and looking for loot. Some have stongboxes with puzzles to navigate and these have items that help buff you up. Still getting to grips with a pretty complex control system. As I said in my Steam review, whoever designed the keyboard layout was obviously drunk. It's a really enjoyable game and I think I'll be playing it lot. Oh yes, you can pick up cats and pet them 🥰

Don't know if anyone saw but the PS5 price is going up by roughly £90 in the UK... Isn't this the first time console prices have gone up during the lifespan rather than down as the cost of manufacturing decreases generally as they get more efficient and such. Will the xbox follow suit, will the Switch see price increases at some point do you think? We have obviously seen it with PC gaming with components increasing dramatically in price in recent years.

I am still having a lot of fun, I think someone said to me the other day that it is essentially what they wanted from Dragons Dogma 2. Another thing that has been good since launch is the listening to player feedback and then updating and patching the game with incredible speed. I think the latest gripe was that many of the unique mounts are time limited but they appear now to be working through them and making them permanent.

I think it's indicative of the state of the gaming market moreso than the sale. There isn't much that is 'new' or 'innovative' and even if there were, the way these storefronts work you just end up looking at the same 100 or so games time and time again. I have tried to scroll through a few times recently and you scroll through and find you are looking at the same old tripe and just give up.

I took the dive this morning, and yea, there is literally nothing on there that is interesting. No lie though, I am happy to hear that someone else feels the same way, because I thought it was just me

I have not looked to be honest, I am skint as it is and it's only going to tempt me. The last few times I looked as well there was just so much crap to wade through that I lost interest after a couple of minutes. I think with these you are best off knowing what you want in advance and just search for it, if the price is ok then pull the trigger.

I finished the game and the DLC on Xbone on 2 different playthroughs. I will try this version out this weekend, just need to redesign a factory over in Satisfactory first lol

Anything good in there? I was starting to look into it and saw online where folks were talking about Dynamic pricing being used (Game is listed for 27$ in one city, but $40 in another)

Its still 70$ over here so I am going to wait for a sale to grab it. Outside of yalls reviews I haven't seen anything other than people being mad about AI, which I get, but isn't necessarily a deal breaker for me.
