Yes, probably going to rewatch it myself. Now having watched Gein I have to say it's weird as ....but you have to watch it to believe they actually made this show.

I still haven't pre-ordered. It'll probably go down to the wire. I have very little hype for this but a part of me knows there isn't many good games coming this year and it'll be a good time filler that is popular. I also have a bit of money left in my Steam Wallet that could go towards it. Think I could probably get satisfactory return on it even if the campaign is another miserable half-baked effort but I'm also worried for a lack of content. Everyone else seems really pumped for it but I'm just not.

It's all Activision's doing sadly but Treyarch will get the flak. There will be a big bait and switch on release but I expect most players are tuned into what will happen when the SBMMless playlist doesn't exist. They've already released pages of documents to shareholders about how SBMM is the biggest retainer of players they have ever seen and they have zero plans to ever remove or even reduce it. Can't see anything changing even with the prospect of them getting stomped by Battlefield and losing a huge chunk of players. They will probably argue that the lack of players in the beta throughout is because they removed SBMM and twist it like that.

I feel that Treyarch have shot themselves in the foot by adding this reduced SBMM (it's not gone completely) playlist. It's shown players just how strict the current system is so removing for launch will turn those players away from the game completely.

Realistically its between the arse, the bin dippers and man shitty, I can't see anyone else being consistent enough.
-
It should've been Liverpool all day long but they feel like the only side that could screw this up. Genuinely hard to call so far. If Chelsea or Newcastle get a run going you never know. Spurs look strong so I do wonder who can get consistency after the International break.
-
Jeez, what a trailer. Do you recommend the Dahmer one then Gary @techno?

Could be the Arse that win the this year but at least the league has seemed more competitive the last year or two, and I'm all for that. And Wet Spam getting relegated of course 🥳

The great physical revolution returns!! YARRRRRRR! 🤣

Its a shame people like Prickford exist, but there's so many good games out there it's easy to boycott the wankers these days 🫠

I've been in Menorca last couple of weeks so I'm in a pretty good mood and don't really care what these pisstaking companies do any more...but yeah fuck Saudi Arabia up the arse xx
-
I've made pretty good use of the GamePass until now but yeah I won't be continuing with it personally following this, I've got plenty of games to play on PC and indie companies are making better games than the big boys these days anyway, so bye bye Microsoft. Also, the subscription model is becoming a joke in general, no wonder ppl are returning to pirating.

Whether they we like it or hate it - business model wise, having exclusive games to specific consoles makes the world go round. They may have got millions of digital applause online when they said they wouldn't do exclusives, but they kissed goodbye to console wars when that happened. Its just not what the gaming world has ever been and thats why Sony and Nintendo will continue to make the big profits when they bring out their own exclusives.

I've heard its been a better game than BL3, but it hasn't been enough pull for me to go and try it just yet. Not sure I can get with the game to replay through it continuously over and over. For a looter shooter I used to struggle with the combat in BL3 and also the sheer amount of drops the game gives you. I know many that play this genre love drops, and I do....but not absolute shed tons that I've seen on recent videos because I then end up playing Borderlands Administration Simulator. Shame it can't really ever be an evolving live service game. That may have got me into it.

As they added the non sbmm playlist I thought I'd give it a go and it was so much more of an organic experience than any of the time I've put into bo6, I had games where I got shit on all the way through to one game when I got a ruthless medal and I see myself as an average player. Now I'm not falling for this as James said I expect them to return to type but if this is the default setting, not a playlist then I may buy the game. Also the wall jumping is a gimmick that should never exist and the bloody pointless doors ruin the overall experience and are unnecessary, the maps as usual are simply meh. I had so many pointless deaths due to falling off the map. Anyway I don't usually watch much blame truth these days but he's pretty much right here.

They added a non-SBMM playlist because the beta numbers were a trainwreck and those playing were complaining, but come the full game this wont exist and it'll be the usual SBMM nightmare matchmarking guaranteed.
-
Treyarch added a classic matchmaking playlist where skill was only used minimally and it was absolutely fantastic. Getting into a game took a few seconds and it didn't feel like you were getting screwed by the matchmaking system if you did well, plus I was always in lobbies with a ping of around 9ms rather than it jumping between 9ms and 40ms. It was actually fun. It shows just how ridiculous SBMM is in this COD and how the system will prioritise skill over connection. Hopefully they'll use that system going forward but I doubt it. If they remove it then they're fucked IMO as they've shown players how the game could play if it wasn't for their SBMM system so those players just won't get the game.

Well this was obvious - Microsoft lost an estimated $300,000,000 putting BO6 on Game Pass with 82% of accounting sales on Playstation. Microsoft reportedly estimated that Game Pass led to $300 million in lost sales of Black Ops 6, with 82% of copies sold being on the Game Pass-less PlayStation 5 | PC Gamer WWW.PCGAMER.COM Is that good? I would love to see the other games totted up in revenue missed. The Pass is 'profitable' apparently but that could basically mean $5bn earned but with $4.5bn lost at retail collectively meaning a half million profit that has to be shared between 100+ developers.

Great game. Chelsea deserved it. @Macca89 has been proven correct so far, that the Liverpool defence is quite poor overall.

Forgot Reebok existed! Watch Xbox collaborate with Le Coq Sportif, Ellesse and Fila in response🤣

I like the japan version

Got an email the other week. Reebok have created 3 different unique Playstation 1 styled trainers, one for each region. UK Version US Version Japan Version I actually really like the US Version way more than the others, shame we can't get them over here! Does any of these jump out for anyone else? Should be available mid October to buy.

Microsoft are falling off a cliff in the gaming market. How can this be in any way a good idea? At $1000? If you looked at the market, you could break it by going backwards and making a unique PSP styled one that doesn't need to be anywhere near that powerful and create exclusive games for it. It looks massive and that means it doesn't feel super comfortable to play rigorous games with those controls. This is where the Switch hands down kills everything. If we think back to the King of handhelds back in the day, the ones that succeed are more fitting in your hand that will lend itself to the fun of the games, not just giving more power for better graphics. Its literally just a gaming PC and I actually think the next 5-10 years is showing more kids want to have a PC at their desk, not this. EDIT - I was typing as I was listening to it. Its £500/£800 for the handheld. I still think its too much though for a glorified mobile PC.

I actually think in the short-medium term, you'll find more games continue to release. The amount of money now needed to keep game development going is insanely high - and most of that cash lies in the Saudi market. They may push more annoying things in certain games like fifa coins, etc, but I don't think it will mean games get shelved.
