Looks amazing just like the first but I do wonder if gameplay and content will be any better than the first.

 

Still, getting a TIE fighter, fighting as Chewy and blowing up the Death Star is a pretty cool start.

They just seem to be missing *something*.   Battlefront, battlefield etc.  There's an element missing and I can't put my finger on it.  The problem is I think it's too big to be coordinated.  winning is more about luck than any performance.  You can have the best squad in the world, but if the rest of the team are window lickers, then you're in for a bad time.  At least smaller teams when you have a decent team on comms you can coordinate and swing the game in your favour.

Maybe they can combine Battlefront with Battlefront 2 and deliver half of a game. That'd be nice.

Why do trailers of gameplay have to look so good whereas I have this feeling already that this game may let us down again. I really hope not as this seems like great fun with a group.

Well they shot themselves in the foot by not having a campaign last time around, who would of thought that would be a mistake? Everyone? Oh 

 

They're definitely not getting my money straight away, i'll let this one sit until it's £20 second hand, then i'll probably pick it up.

I know exactly what you mean, it doesn't have that special thing that makes you want to play it constantly. Hopefully this one will be different but i'm not holding my breath.

To be honest I remember @TigerBurge saying the first one was quite fun and relaxing. @Amnotright said a similar thing last night.

 

I actually think the game will be a 'fun and friendly' game. Problem is most of us here aren't drawn to those games. We'd give them a go but it would get boring quite quick.

 

I sort of see it as Overwatch Quick Play vs Competitive. Quick Play is fun, but no one can really be that arsed to play it and it doesn't push you to your limits. That's why competitive wins every time. I didn't like OW at all until lv25 and Competitive.

 

If it has a competitive type scene then that keeps the game interesting.
