    My issue with it was the crazy grind to get to rank 16, Bungie are fixated on this stupid 'streak' system for vendor xp. So having ground out about 60 completions I've had my fill - I know I didnt have to do that, but given the rank will likely reset in 6 weeks time, the only way to hit 16 is to grind like hell. Cant even argue its just cosmetics - the catalyst to foerunner is tied to rank 16 as well. As a game mode i actually quite enjoyed it, and it has a few decent weapons tied to it for roll-chasing. So i think its a good addition, just the streak system is a very bad idea - the beauty of Destiny is its variety, you would think Bungie themselves understand that. They need to look at stats for the players who've played the game mode exclusively to get to 16, then either burnt out and dropped off, or never touched the game mode again !

    You guys know Paul Tassi - writes about Destiny on Forbes so I guess some of you will. He's written a few books as well - Earthborn Trilogy was pretty good, but my favourites are the HeroKiller 1 & 2. Really good read

    Yeah I like my flying rock, currently bright green. I got a few catalysts done along the way as well, something else to focus on I stress of the huge grind !

    Top tip would be to go to Ada and Banshee daily and buy any mods they are offering. Mods is a key part of what you’ll need to build good sets. For armour just hold on to one of each burn type with high stats .

    Yeah the NFC looks a lot more open than the AFC where Kansas look nailed on. Horrible feeling the bloody Cowboys are going to win the NFC.

    Legends not too bad, you’ll be fine but doesn’t really give you anything extra. Just save it for when you need that 225,000 run

    You can go to orbit, go to tower, go to helm, log out, log in, just don’t do another activity

    It is a ridiculous grind ! I’m trying to get it done as there is a lot of stuff linked to level 16 but it’s a shocking amount of Dares. I’m not a huge fan of the Bungie streak system in crucible gambit vanguard as it means you get penalised for doing other stuff in the game (Doh) but that’s at a whole new level of stupid here. Dares has a streak system as well , so your rank up pints go from 75 to 155 over 5 games but then you lose it if you do anything else. So the most efficient way is to do Dares 64 times without doing anything else. Best thing Destiny has is variety . Bungie ‘“let’s punish variety’ I will , of course , get it done !

    Problem with the situation was , so many people watching, formula 1 getting more interest than forever, and you end up having to finish the championship with 5 laps behind the safety car…..that would have been even worse than what they did ! Maybe they should halt the lap counter if the safety car comes out with less than 10 laps to go?

    See I loved gambit prime, and went and got reckoner. However the actual seasonal event was terrible, apart from the bridge part which was a load of fun , but led to supers being nerfed CoS it was too much fun!

    Bungie really should not bother with a ‘season’ when a DLC launches, they put resource into some half assed activity that no one remembers. Better a bigger DLC than some random forgotten activity

    Blimey there’s been a lot of seasons! Ignoring year 1 , which even led to me abandoning destiny , I think the worst seasonal event was probably undying (the vex one right?) although that was propped up by shadow keep. Likewise the hunt seasonal stuff was ok but very light, put propped up by the DLC. Can’t remember much about Dawn or worthy , think I ducked out in Dawn and went and did CoD for a bit !
