You’ve probably seen a bunch of people running around with the Dredgen title from the Gambit challenge but I saw my first Wayfarer yesterday from the destinations challenge The big issue with getting Wayfarer (apart from full EP equipment ) is getting the braytech rocket launcher which only drops from the Strange Terrain nightfall. This week Bungie made sure Strange Terrain popped up as a NF option as a lot of the community have been pleading for it. I’ve ran it a few times (two 100,000+ runs) which seems to be a good idea before clocking in a bunch of speed runs before it drops. Anybody interestd in doing a bunch of speed runs (happy to do another 100k run to get people the buff , it’s pretty easy and Thunderlord kicks ass in it), until we get the RL drops, could do tonight or Friday night. God knows how long it will be before ST comes up as nightfall again so best chance of bagging one of the more doable titles

Pushed myself to 10 forsaken exotics yesterday (actually 11 with wishender) and joined the 0.6% of people who have that trophy. I like to think of my good luck on drops as skill based RNG!

Wave splitter uses energy ammo so you should spawn with some. I used it a fair bit in PvP and usually spawned with enough ammo for 2 kills

Well the TWAB today confirmed a few things: we have until 27 Nov to get Redrix and Luna or progress on Valor / Glory gets reset to zero no mention of any double/ triple xp but infamy double Xp was conformed. Which suggests to me there’s no boost coming. I actually hit a 8 win streak in competitive yesterday so if anyone wants to party up on Saturday to grind for Luna I’m up for it.

But the more guns that are legally purchased the more guns can end up in the wrong hands, and the more easily and cheaper that is. Supply and demand. And I don’t buy the ‘mental health is the issue’. Your murder rate is 4x that of the UK and worse than Zambia Sudan Angola. Are any of them dealing with mental health issues better than the USA ? It’s NRA bullshit. I keep meaning to stay away from this thread but the denial of the problem drives me nuts.

My point Chris was, 1791, second amendment written, gives the right to bear arms. Best weapon of the day was a single shot musket that took 1 minute to reload and had shit accuracy. I know nothing about modern guns, except they are a tad better than the stuff the founding fathers wrote about .

No way , that law was written in 1791 and it’s still all totally fine. Those founding fathers really did want everyone tooled up with automatics. I believe young people would tag this with a ‘#sarcasm’

Helpful tip for anyone grinding for Redrix. If you play competitive play list you get Valor points as well, I’m sure we all new that But what is helpful is that on a loss your Valor win streak doesn’t reset. You will still only get 10 points for a loss but next time you win you’re Valor streak will give you the higher amount of points And you can build your Valor win streak in competitive as well just by winning the odd match.

Even with randoms the way to success is to keep reviving. If you got randoms that don’t revive level 5 is probably the best you can do. I’ve done level 7 and the only real difference between that team and a level 5 team was everyone was reviving.

It’s got head seeker and kill clip. Headseeker seems to help me a fair bit

7 clears is pretty tough, best I’ve got so far is 6 clears. Best way to get tokens is to do the weekly bounty, which is 15 daily bounties. Good idea to try and get this done each week I think as it gives 40 tokens which is decent boost. I’m up to 110 tokens just from doing a bit every day without really grinding it.

You’re right, disappointing once I got it. I’ve got a better roll of it from last time round at least for PvP. But might be ok for PvE.

Suggest you get at least the 150 kills done to get the vendor roll of Claws of the Wolf, looks good

I’m 600 😀 Main focus at the moment is chasing a few guns in the various quests, so Redtix Broadsword (2.5 resets to go), Lunas Howl (ouch), the Horror in the Festival of the Grind, and that iron banner pulse looks great. Also grinding Triumph score. -

I wouldn’t say the Riven cheese is complex, but it’s defintely not easy. Even more than that the two fights that come after Riven are not a cake walk, and there’s no loot until you get past them. Id like to learn it properly at some point but Bungie are certainly making you work for you final drop even with the cheese
