Season of the Splicer Trailer - Destiny 2's Next Season

Hoping for a good season. Seasonal activities can be a bit hit or miss but battlegrounds were ok, story telling had been good, and the epic return of VoG should make it a fun season. -
Intriguing to see what will change and what will stay the same, hoping some of the iconic weapons come back with the raid related mods but I guess they may be armour mods now. For those who’ve never been in VoG I guess it’s your call whether you want to try and have a fully blind raid, or mix it up with people who’ve done it before. We’ve got such a large and active raid group at the moment we need to make sure that as many people as want day 1 experience get it.

I think you earn the catalyst quest by depositing medals then do a short quest to unlock it. -

It is pretty pointless - to the extent that medals I'm earning on my titan end up getting deposited by my hunter, because you can !! I'm doing it for triumph points essentially - slightly frustratingly the last real triumph i have to do is earn bronze metals - as all I'm doing is nightfalls and competitive crucible, which drop silver medals, I'm struggling with the participation trophy even though I'm participating in end game content - bad design forcing me to run probably 50 vanguard strikes or crucible just to do that. Still get the HA catalyst so not all bad- 7 replies

We don't have a day yet but I'm guessing May 14 or May 21. Dont know if this counts as a blind raid, but blind raids are a lot of fun, but can be a little frustrating. Took our FG team all evening to get past security in DSC, but what a feeling when we worked it out and beat it!

It has been a really amazing few months for me, having a regular raid crew. Been such fun with some hilarious moments. @GazzaGarratt and @RenFengge you two have been so important in getting us to this point with the time you put in to making sure we have six even if you aren't around. I think DSC is such a relatively stress free raid that it is a great raid to do, and we would welcome any of the clan to come do it - even if its just once to try it out. Of course me and Charlie have got one eye on the return of Vault of Glass, and running it with a FG crew day 1. No idea how much it will have changed from D1 and I'm actually hoping that it has been changed around a bit so its a new challenge but still clearly still VoG. Personally I still find loads to do in Destiny - going for guilded Conqueror and the prospect of teaming up with people to get Harbinger, and I agree maybe we need a night were we do nightmare hunts or GMs. Just to give everyone a chance to try stuff out. Happy to try and schedule something. Want to keep running DSC so the regular gang all get Descendant but also get new people through it - we've not had any issues in getting people through DSC at all, so all lurkers welcome! And come the new season DSC is easily the best way to grab 4 pinnacle gear drops inside an hour, so its got plenty of life in it yet!

I’ll ask him, think he’ll be happy to do anything , determined we stick in and help Aj to that bloody rocket launcher. Apparently after 100 runs it’s a guaranteed drop ! Hit my 50 last night !! Was great fun

I'm amazed and delighted by this - victory for the fans. I'm even proud of the Chelsea fans and I hate Chelsea (an enmity stretching back to the 1990 Zenith Data Systems Cup Final, football bitterness is forever!). Looking forward to the fall out today as apologies and resignations pile in !
