Couple that with my experience with getting paired up against people thousands of miles away and it’s such a warm comforting feeling knowing that no matter what you do, Sledgehammer are about to rape you repeatedly. But wait guys! It doesn’t matter because I have 15 quadrillion grips for a gun that I rarely use because it is shit. Fuck yeah....

Right the map Carentan. Whoever designed this map needs to facefucked with a dildo covered in razor blades and Ebola. To have a map that is this badly designed with multiple windows, doorways, headglitches on each individual lane is a sign of someone not all there. I turn a corner, I’ve now got to check 15 different areas before it’s safe to proceed but by the time I have done that I’m getting melted from someone in the first window. if you get a team of thumbless wonders and you get spawned out the back of the houses, fuck it you might as well leave right now. There is no chance that you are going to make the dash across the street to safety. Try go down the left along the alley? Nah fuck it, Johnny wonderballs is there with his LMG ready to light you up and there is nothing you can do. In a 7 game streak earlier I played this map 5 times and that cunting ship 2 times. No other maps in the rotation sledgehammer????

I find that I have to be insanely accurate with my shots but it’s all undone by the fact that sniper dan and his xxxxxxxxtrikshottttzzzzwannabeeeepamaj mates can fire a sniper rifle 6 feet either side of me quickscoping and it kills me. Same with any of the other weapons. I’ve seen point blank a shotgun fail to kill someone on multiple occasions yet other people’s blasts have chased me round the corner. It can’t go on like this and it was the same situation at the MLG championship last weekend so it also happens on LAN. I should really play hardcore seeing as I’ve had my highest kill games playing HC TDM. But I find that people play so defensively, sitting on one of the million head glitch spots with a bipod lmg that it gets just as rage inducing. I will I’ll concede that the 5th point is more of a personal thing horses for courses. But like mentioned above I’m just not of being being tied to a division if I want to run suppressor etc.

Another nearly two weeks on and some proper observations. 1. Still a major issue with bullet registration. Far too many gunfights where I shoot first and I just get straight melted. I’ve gone and watched the theatre and replays and it shows that I am on target and it just doesn’t register the shot. This is down to a number of issues but it brings me on to my next point 2. Lobbies. For the love of god stop putting me in lobbies where I am facing people from Mexico, America, Australia and fucking Pingu from Antarctica! Are you seriously telling me there is no one in the UK trying to play this game?? 3. Score based match making (SBMM). Right this has to be one of the dumbest ideas implemented for the casual gamer. If I wanted to be red bull chugging aderall popping scuf jumping 16 year old who thinks he is the next Scump then I would go play ranked or game battles. That’s the fucking reason they are in the game. What I want is a lobby of randomly selected people Sometimes I will get shit on and sometimes I will shit on. You take your chances. I take little enjoyment at the moment of game after game of having to try my absolute nuts off just to have a vaguely decent game. Mr condrey can say it isn’t there but when if I play solo I’m barely scraping positive and when I join with a shitter mate suddenly I’m in lobbies where people don’t have thumbs then there has to be something there. 4. SMGs. Need a buff. Nothing major but when it loses to a fn42 or bar at close range that isn’t right. 5. Removal of the pick 10 system in my mind was a massive step back. I really miss being able to select different perks and customise my setup and half of my ribbon things have remained locked in this current prestige because they are utter shite. Enjoyment levels just aren’t there when I jump on for a quick game at the moment. I’ll try to think of some more but I’m fucking knackered

The more I play WW2 the more it irritates me that pro players seem to have more of pull on mr condrey then the millions of ordinary players that have very little interest in the competitive side of cod, and just want to play a fun match. I don’t want to have to turn into a sweaty MLG player with reflexes like I’m on aderall and cocaine just to have a vaguely enjoyable game.

Shhhhhh don’t let them know about me in the 1v1 arena. *Ahem* yeah yeah I’m struggling a little bit at cqb so if anybody wants to spar with me it would be good training... in all honesty tho i am enjoying it a lot and it’s good to have had quite a few games with you lads. For me it’s where we all sort of started and came together so it’s good to be playing some proper COD

So after Lee and Crispy got me into Fortnite i have to say I'm enjoying it a lot. Quite a lot of strategy is involved as well as the tension involved with running across the open areas fearful of a sniper bullet into the cranium. Yep I'm definitely going to give the beta a try just to see if all this jetpack nonsense was the reason my interest in CoD has diminished. It'll be good to get some games in with you guys if possible

Good morning people! Got back from a business trip to a couple of awesome surprises. Firstly my house is finally completed!! (Only 2 months late and a day before I would have been homeless but we shall gloss over that...) and secondly I have found a squishy package in my postbox from a certain GazzaGarratt containing an FG shirt! Fits brilliantly and looks amazing so thank you very much mate!

So ive tried playing a lot more selfishly and just go for kills which has helped me win a lot more of my games at the expense of dashing for the OBJ. Aiming at an enemy is very hit and miss, maybe im underestimating the amount of bloom that occurs on each weapon if you try and hire fire it. Some weapons are just a load of shite if you try to ADS which makes no sense to me. Feels like im trying to play the game drunk. Yeah I will try to get on for a few games tonight if i can get myself away from packing boxes

Am I missing something because the multiplayer bit that I have been playing felt random as fuck. I die absurdly quickly whilst ramming my gun up the opponents arsehole and unleashing the full force of a thousand marshmallows brings me absolutely no joy whatsoever. And as the only player on my team to be jumping on the dom flags (dont know what they are called in Destiny) and capturing every one of our teams points apparently makes me the most inefficient player on my team. Team mates useless as normal and it seems like if you dont have a decent team of at least 3 means you are going to experience a worse time then if your missus decides shes interested in pegging and struts into the room with the extra massive cannon xxl strap on and deep heat for lube. Being able to jump into the air for about 10 hours and having the agility of a handicapped slug means you are just asking for a death. I think I might need a hand from you guys whenever you are next on because im struggling to find enjoyment in this at the moment

As someone who is heavily relying on you previous destiny players as a reference on whether to buy this so I can play with you guys, if I hear reports that it's not enjoyable then it will severely put me off buying it. There is going to be a massive weight of expectation on the developers to take everything that people enjoyed in the first one and then amplify it. Failure to do that could really hurt their customer base going forward.

Right so at the end of the rather short taster weekend, I have a few thoughts. Did I enjoy it? Yes, I was actually surprised by just how much I did enjoy it. The large range of maps and playable characters was good to see and the fact that the controls were kept extremely simple made it a hell of a lot easier to get to grips with playing OW then some games I have recently played. The Positives? Wide range of characters meant there were a numbers of choices that you could make when it came to choosing a character especially if your fav/go to was snapped up by someone else. I liked the fact that just playing in the general vs mode (dont know what they call it), I got a couple of different game types and they can range from very quick to a good decent length game. Even going into the next game was extremely quick, once again compared to some games (I'm looking your way GTA and BF1). The maps were extremely colourful and I really enjoyed that coming from COD with its grey, greens and browns. I can see why it appeals to both adults and kids as a game. The Negatives? Despite the wide range of characters, some characters are just complete shite and pointless. Some people may say oh you need a certain build of other characters to bring out that one characters strengths, but as a solo player who hops on for a few games and then usually hops off, I cant be waiting around for randoms to select the exact build I need. Having tried a lot of the characters I tended to rotate between 3-4 depending on the map and my team mates. Which brings me onto... Randoms. Holy fuck why is it that these people have no concept of what they need to do in a game and play every game like its TDM in a fluorescent sci-fi world. I couldnt give a flying fuck if you have a 30 kill streak if you are as far away from the obj as possible getting sucked off by the other team whilst im getting my shit pushed in as the only player on the objective. Team balancing leaves a lot to be desired from what I experienced. So Would I buy it? At full price...No. Its a good game from what I experienced but I could see myself getting very bored playing solo. However at a lower price?...Well put it like this im busy looking for sales on it atm...

Am I right to have a hatred for the opposing Bastion(?) I feel like on some maps this character is insanely OP with people setting up at a choke point in turret mode and then people putting shields up in front of him. I have seen so many plays of the game where it is just mowing people down even from a distance and there seems little that can be done 😕

Right I am going to stick with soldier for a bit only because I went on something like a 20+ kill streak despite not understanding what the fuck I was doing. On on a side note why are some of the characters so godamn awful or is it that I'm not playing them right? Biggest gun in the game but it was like I was firing marshmallows and was as mobile as a crippled whale on land!
