I'm going to keep this forum as my main base but I will dabble on the other side as a guest to stay in touch with folks. Some of you may have noticed my lack of forum input of late. That's got nothing to do with the site problems but now I'm not at work sitting in front of a PC all day I don't tend to surf as much. The dreaded WhatsApp is used to stay in contact with family as well as the banter so proper interwebz surfing has declined. Really hope that our friendships will remain because we are basically good for each other. Maybe a foot on each camp is the answer? IDK :-(

Does anyone know why some posts are disappearing? It happened to me (everything in "Thank you " thread posted yesterday) and to Doc (see comment in his post on Orlando thread). Is there a global fix or do we have to repost?

Steve, Long story short... my wife lost her right eye to a form of skin cancer 8 years ago. All clear up until a couple of months ago when we saw bad skin signs in the empty socket which turned out to be malignant melanoma again. We're now in the final stages of getting this sorted again but, where as last time we didn't now what was coming, this time we do and it has been getting stressful for both of us I needed to unburden myself a bit and did one night in a game session and also on WhatsApp. Everyone was really supportive which really meant a lot, even to an oldie like me, and I thought no more of it until the flowers turned up today. Like I said earlier, a really good bunch of people <3

Got a surprise today when these lovely flowers were delivered, along with a voucher for a meal for two at a local restaurant. Mrs P. was also chuffed and asked me to pass on her thanks as well The latest update is that we go to see a consultant plastic surgeon on Thursday and, hopefully, from there should find out when the operation can be carried out. We hope it won't be too long. Once again, you've proved that we're a big family here and we take care of our own. Thanks again and God bless you all
