  1. Yep and you don't need a PS4 specific (unless it's changed since I got mine) set...I'm using a white XBox set
  2. Great OP Greboth In addition to most of the other posts I would welcome the perennial "delete crap in the Postmaster" and make weapon/armour ranking more difficult. Ranking gear with motes of light meant you dropped the weapon you need and 30 seconds later its maxed
  3. This is an ideal opportunity fir a "Didds does cooking" video (series)!!
  4. Sorry if this looks scrappy but it seems important and I'm short on time! Microsoft makes emergency security fix By Chris BaraniukTechnology reporter 31 minutes ago From the section Technology These are external links and will open in a new window Microsoft has released an urgent update to stop hackers taking control of computers with a single email. The unusual bug, in Microsoft anti-malware software such as Windows Defender, could be exploited without the recipient even opening the message. Researchers working for Google's Project Zero cyber-security outfit discovered the flaw at the weekend. The fix has been specially pushed out hours before the software giant's weekly Tuesday security update. Hackers could exploit the flaw simply by sending an infected email, instant message or getting the user to click on a web browser link. Windows 8, 8.1, 10 and Windows Server operating systems are affected by the bug. Anti-virus software such as Windows Defender would merely have to scan the malicious content for the exploit to be triggered. On some computers, scans are set up to occur almost instantly - "real-time protection" - or to take place at a scheduled time. "Anti-virus normally tries to intercept these things before you get to them," said cyber-security expert Graham Cluley. He added it was "tremendous" that Microsoft had released the patch so quickly. Image captionNews of the bug broke over the weekend - and the problem was quickly patched The bug was discovered by Google Project Zero researchers Tavis Ormandy and Natalie Silvanovich. And Mr Ormandy later tweeted he had been "blown away" at the speedy response. The vulnerability allows for remote code execution: "the thing all the malicious attackers are aiming for", Mr Cluley told the BBC. "It means they can install code on to your computer without your permission - it means they can hijack your computer." Mr Cluley did add, however, that he thought the Project Zero protocol for announcing the vulnerability - which had included information that malicious hackers might have found useful - had been risky. "That can help the bad guys," he said. Windows users can check that they are running the latest Windows Defender version (1.1.13704.0), which should download automatically, to make sure they are not at risk - or hit the update button. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/technology-39856391
  5. " Is this game still feel like a clusterfuck on PvP?" Yep, but in a warm, fuzzy way that makes you smile sometimes. Definitely better than CoD Increasing the level cap to 100 should keep me occupied until D2 drops

  7. Hi Lee, I've had a quick look without success....is there an idiot's guide to posting on the forum? Things like how to link to external sites, how to hide links under a, I think, hyperlink "here", how to include images, how to resize images to make them smaller, things like that. Maybe a FAQ thread stickied somewhere for those of the less computer literate of us or those that have forgotten due to inactivity on the site
  8. Just caught a very interesting episode of The Life Scientific on BBC Radio 4 by a straight talking scientist. Thought I'd post it here as many of you may not have heard the broadcast because a] you're at work, b] you're not in the UK or c] you don't understand the concept of/not grown up enough for Radio 4 Here's the blurb and you can catch it again on the BBC Radio iPlayer Graham MacGregor on tackling the demons in our diet The Life Scientific The food we eat is the greatest cause of death and illness worldwide. The main culprits - salt, sugar and fat - are now so embedded in our diet, in the form of processed foods, that most of us consume far too much. Yet Professor Graham MacGregor doesn't believe it's up to us to reverse this situation. It's up to the food industry, he says, who manufacture the processed foods, to take the 'rubbish' out. Now Professor of Cardiovascular Medicine at the Wolfson Institute of Preventative Medicine, Graham MacGregor has spent much of his career campaigning tirelessly to persuade the food industry to do just that - to reduce these demons in our diet - firstly salt, and now sugar. And he's had remarkable success. As a nation we now eat thirty thousand tonnes less salt each year than we did fifteen years ago, saving the NHS a staggering £1.5 billion per year. Blood pressure lies at the heart of this huge saving and, as Graham explains to Jim al-Khalili, blood pressure is not a natural consequence of ageing. High blood pressure is simply a consequence of too much salt.

  12. The abilityto delete rubbish picked up by the Postmaster without loading it onto your character
  13. Definitely more like Niall Quinn
  14. Day-to-day = coffee, full fat up to about 2pm then decaff Occasional beer at home would be Peroni or similar or wine One drink at a pub would be a Guinness after which Southern Comfort and lemonade, probably no more than 2 I don't get drunk anymore, 20+ years of driving every day lowers the tolerance level and it loses it's novelty as you get older
  15. Thanks Lee [emoji106] Via the FG App

  22. I agree with Rob about the formatting buttons. I use Safari web browser on an iPad pro and I struggle to make the buttons out properly (dark grey on light grey background sucks). Buttons not doing what you think they should is frustrating. However, keep up the good work Lee as we all know you're gonna get there! ..presses italic button to select emoticon...
