So I went for a nuclear cardiac stress test today.
When you have one of those you are not supposed to eat or drink anything that has a stimulant in it (including chocolate and caffeine) for 24 hours before the test. You are not allowed to eat or drink anything 4 hours before the test.
One guy this morning showed up and when they did the questionnaire and the they asked him: " have you had any coffee, tea, milk, water or food this morning" and he said no. Then they asked him if he had anything to drink at all. And he said yes, I had a couple of beers at 6:30 this morning.
The nurse asked him if he was serious and he said that he was. They asked him why would he do that and he replied that it wasn't on the list
So they asked him why was he getting this test done. He said that he needed it done because he had heart problems and wanted a prescription for Viagra. His doctor would not give him one without a stress test.
I think I might have figured out why he can't get lead in is pencil however. If you have to have beer at 6:30 in the morning you might not be in the best of shape for sexy time later in the day.
True story. I can't believe that he wasn't to embarrassed to answer to questions within other people's ear shot.
