  1. Happy birthday Ryan!! @RLPK Hope its a good one buddy.
  2. Yeah, I think you've had to wait a little longer as if I remember correctly you unlocked the masterwork slot on the right early doors when you dint need it straight off the bat. Out of interest though have you put runes in that one and have you got fully masterworks weapons from it? Even if they are shit, they could prove to be good enhancement core production.
  3. Might be a good time to get some Sniper kills as noobs tend to try out Banner early on in the Seasons.
  4. It's really down to you @Teenwolf25. I'd argue your choice is either Power and Efficiency (PE) 2 or Rune Compatibility (RC) 1 or/and 2. I unlocked RC 1 first then PE2 and my next focus is RC2. I wanted to see different weapons drop initially over Imperials however, I should've done PE2 first as it unlocks the new Buff you can buy from Sweeper Bot to get more Imperials. I'd get PE2 and then focus on your RC upgrades as that gives you variety of coloured runes and therefore chances of getting a variety of weapons. I wouldn't go anywhere near the middle upgrade, cant remember its name but it doesn't impact Imperials or Variety of drops.
  5. Invitation Quest This is possibly the most straight forward step to get Imperials as its the trigger to obtaining the chalice and allowing you to start upgrading the chalice. To start it off you most go to Benedict (Sweeper Bot) in the Annex and pick up the quest and then immediately go to Ikora. After those straightforward tasks follow the remaining steps to get the quest done and pick up 1000 Imperials along the way to complete the quest. Weekly Calus Bounties Werner 99-40 and Benedict 99-40 will have four weekly Calus bounties available that offer a powerful reward, a rune for the Chalice of Opulence, and a puny purse of Imperials (150). Complete these every week (and on each character you have) for an additional 150 Imperials. Nessus Gold Barge Chests On board the new Gold Barge in Nessus, there are 15 chests that can be opened for 5,000 Glimmer and will reward 150 Imperials with some runes as a bonus. Therefore you need a total of 75k Glimmer to open all of the chests. Bearing this in mind you might want to save up your Glimmer for the chests or wait until The Spider (the Tangled Shore vendor) is selling Glimmer in exchange for Legendary Shards to easily get your Glimmer back up to over 75k. If you are struggling to find them they are at the back of the barge at the top. It's also a place where Xur now is present on certain weeks. Please note chests can be opened once per week. However, the current reset day is actually Sunday rather than Tuesday. Bungie have indicated this may be fixed to a Tuesday in one of their future patches. Power and Efficiency 2 Chalice Upgrade To start getting some Imperials to drop as you do the usual activities, you need to unlock Power and Efficiency 2 Upgrade. The description on it states: Grants an additional weekly powerful reward from the final chest in the Menagerie. Playlist activities may now rarely award Imperials. Therefore, don't forget to concentrate on doing your weekly Strikes, Crucible and Gambit. Whilst working towards the Powerful Gear you can drop, you have the chance to drop between 100-500 imperials after activity completion. Wealth of the Emporer Buff Consumable Once you've unlocked Power and Efficiency 2 on your chalice, Werner 99-40 on the Gold Barge will allow to purchase a Buff consumable called Wealth of the Emporer. You can buy up to 3 of these per week. The description on the Buff reads: Significantly increases the chances of earning Imperials from Strikes, Gambit and the Crucible. Greatly increases the chances of earning Imperials in the Menagerie. Effects last until Imperials are earned. Once purchased you should apply one to your character and you will then see the buff on the character screen, displayed by a small green triangle like other buffs and effects that are active on your Guardian. All you then need to do is play and eventually the game will give you 500 imperials once you complete any of the above activities. Another incentive to keep on running the Menagerie. Menagerie Triumphs As you complete the above activities, you should 'cash in' your triumphs on the Trimphs tab. There are a ton of easy ones to get, usually for completing things for the first time, such as: Each specific type of weekly bounty and linked treasure map First Menagerie completion Each Menagerie boss defeated for the first time Then there's simple ones for us all to help each other with, such as: Light all lamps as part of the first part (Lamplighting) with everyone only lighting one lamp each Get all 6 Guardians around the Gauntlet run without dying on any rotation These bad boys actually give the most of all - 500 imperials each. This without a doubt is why you should do the steps above to get even more Imperials.
  6. Be aware people that the chests on the Gold Barge on Nessus currently have a weekly reset on a Sunday. It wasn't intended and they will revert it to the weekly Tuesday reset when they have found a way to do this.
  7. Heres the latest Q&A info to hopefully answer what the upcoming update means for Destiny as a whole: Fall 2019 FAQ Forsaken and New Light Q: Will Destiny 2: New Light be its own separate game/file? A: No. All Destiny 2 players will be automatically converted to New Light and will maintain all of their prior purchases and entitlements. Q: What Forsaken and Forsaken Annual Pass content will be included in New Light? A: Forsaken content available in Destiny 2: New Light includes: Free roam on all destinations Strikes playlists Crucible playlists Gambit and Gambit Prime playlists Select Annual Pass content Q: What Forsaken and Forsaken Annual Pass content will NOT be included in New Light? A: Forsaken content available only with purchase includes: The Forsaken campaign Year 2 raids and dungeons Exotic quests Cross Save Q: Do players need to repurchase Destiny 2 on each cross save platform separately? A: No. New Light will be available for free on Steam, Xbox, and PlayStation. Cross save will preserve all gear, character, and items across all platforms regardless of entitlements. Expansion ownership (Forsaken, Shadowkeep) is tied to the platform’s store it was purchased on. Players will need to purchase expansions on each platform that they wish to play that expansion content on. Q: Can players merge different characters, items, or Triumphs from different accounts? A: Cross save does not feature account, character, or progress merging. Selecting a active account for cross save does not delete or alter the data of any other accounts. Q: Will Destiny 2 support cross-play matchmaking between different platforms? A: Each platform will have its own matchmaking pool. Steam PC Q: Which Destiny 2 purchases and entitlements transfer over from Battle.net to Steam? A: The PC migration from Battle.net to Steam will include a one-time transfer of ALL ownership rights that a player already owns (expansions, Silver, account, Seasons, etc.). Q: Can players pre-order Shadowkeep on Steam right now and migrate their Battle.net account later? A: Yes. Players may purchase Destiny 2: Shadowkeep from Steam’s product page now, and migrate their account at a later date. Stadia Q: Can players pre-order Google Stadia Founder’s Edition right now, and setup cross save for their account at a later date? A: Yes. Players may purchase Stadia Founder’s Edition from Google’s product page now, and enable cross save on their account at a later date. Q: Will Stadia feature cross play with Steam or other platforms? A: Stadia is its own ecosystem, just like current existing platforms. Stadia players will only be able to play with other Stadia players. We'll try and keep this up to date with any further questions.
  8. N.B. Didn;t paste the Q&A for Destiny 2 Fall Update as i'll create a separate post. This is actually a really good update - better than i expected considering its not about any new news for future content. Iron Banner actually looks appealing next week. The armour looks good, the way to get it (through quests) is a great change and they all have the chance to roll with enhanced perks which they've never done before. Even the emblems look really nice this time round. I want that Shotty too. Damn, I've been reeled back in this time round and didn't expect it to feel this good. Anyone up for Bannering next week? Good time to able to get 6 players together and rock some crucible mixed up around Menagerie runs and maybe some raids?
  9. Taken from Bungie Website THIS WEEK AT BUNGIE – 6/13/2019 11h - Cozmo This week at Bungie, we watched Guardians hunt for Truth. Season of Opulence is off and running. Guardians are piling into the Emperor’s lost vaults in search of the treasure of their choosing. Earlier this week, you discovered a new boss waiting for you in the depths of the Menagerie. Upon defeating it, you were given a quest to seek out Truth. Not in an X-files way, but to find the Rocket Launcher, Truth—a weapon that seeks out its targets… aggressively. Just look at what some players are seeing in the wild: Next week, we’ll mix things up once again with a third additional boss to keep things fresh in our new six-player activity. And that’s not all we have planned. We are also welcoming an old friend back to the Tower. Iron Pursuits Lord Saladin will return next week for the first Iron Banner of Season of Opulence. With a new Season, you have a fresh set of weapons and armor available to earn. Saladin continues to offer Iron Banner bounties, but will also set you on a quest to earn your gear. In other words, prove your worth, and be outfitted as an Iron Lord. This Season’s Iron Banner armor is now acquired through a quest. Each armor piece will be granted upon completing its associated quest step. Each armor piece will be granted as a powerful reward. After unlocking an armor piece, it may be reacquired with random rolls through Iron Banner Reputation Packages and match rewards. If you are a veteran player who earned Iron Banner ornaments in the past, this Season’s armor is compatible with all Year 1 Iron Banner ornaments. Iron Banner packages have been updated. Iron Banner Armor may now roll with enhanced perks. New weapons have also been added to Iron Banner packages and have a higher chance to drop on the first package you redeem. New Iron Banner shaders, an emblem, and a Sparrow may be earned through objectives that must be completed during Season of Opulence. Iron Banner bounties will continue to grant rewards and Iron Banner Tokens. Iron Banner bounties no longer unlock direct purchase for Iron Banner gear, as it is now acquired directly through the Iron Banner quest. Iron Banner and Increased Valor Start: 10 AM PDT on June 18 End: 10 AM PDT on June 25 Here is a preview of the armor and weapons available during Iron Banner events in Season of Opulence. Valor boosts will also be available next week in Iron Banner and the rest of the Crucible. Saladin will also have some other items available including this new Emblem. Raid Stats Thousands of Guardians explored deep within the Leviathan to tackle the challenges of the Crown of Sorrow raid. A fireteam of six completed it first and paved the way for others to follow in their footsteps. We made a graphic showing the number of Guardians who beat the raid in a few key timeframes during the first week. If you were one of the 45,475 Guardians who bested Gahlran within the first week and are thinking about purchasing the Bungie Rewards raid jacket, you have until 11:59 PM PDT on June 18 to claim your Bungie Reward code and place your order. Dmg04 and I both completed it the night before the deadline and ordered ours. Congratulations to everyone who has completed it so far. If you’re still Powering up, Gahlran is waiting for you.
  10. PSN back up. Thats one extra day we'll get back around the usual xmas period 🙂
  11. @Bluebear has given me some links to some great images to help you understand if you want a chance at a specific weapon or armour from the Menagerie then these are the types of runes you should use in combination:
  12. Erm. Want? Take my god damn money.
  13. Agree 100% mate. Thats why yours and @The3rdWalker's opinions made sense as you explained them. I think if launchers had extra incentives, e.g. the more games you own the more loyalty reward you receive that could go to more games then that could make a huge difference in the market but I find it just odd how the PC market as ended up with these 'intermediates' in the middle - maybe because they are just better at promoting games than the developer?
  14. It does feel a little too coincidental that Sony didn't attend E3 thats happening right now and Xbox have recently finished their show this week that has been well received. Hmmm.....
  15. Can I ask everyone how they feel this has gone so far over the past 3-4 weeks? I have to hold my hand up and have had technical difficulties with Crispy's Controller Hospital page and the Gambit Tournament as they are new features to FG but apart from that we seem to have had every game night happen, the poll briefly worked for 2 nights of Brawhalla, the first FGer Game Choice went down well with 8 turning up and would've been even better if people had updated their games 🙈 Be good to get some feedback that this sort of thing helped or didn't help and the reasons why for both? I've been trying hard to bring the FG family spirit back of late so wanted to keep the momentum going for all of you now I feel there is some. P.S. I'll update the bits that are lagging here when I've got them working.
  16. Thanks both for your thoughts on the launchers. It sort of backs up what I hear but also why I think how I think. Theres been quite a lot on youtube and twitter about Epic Games exclusive launcher and then Destiny 2 going to Steam (initially), amongst other games going to lots of different launchers. I see hundreds of comments and replies crying and moaning on how they hate it so much and can't believe they have to buy a game from some launcher and they also try to stand up and not buy a game out of principle. My thoughts when i read all of this was - I want to buy a PC game. It is on PC. Why the fuck would I care where I bought it from. The only part that makes me sad these days is not buying the physical copy of the game so it would launch on its own right. Just weird how these days on PC we have virtual shop windows when everyone and anyone can download the launchers. Gaming communities out there seem to just wanna moan about absolute anything of late.
  17. Is it just me or is it looking more Steam with a little Discordy feel? Looks miles better though for sure!
  18. The stealth to do in this game was awesome and hard as nails at the same time. Great to see a remastered version come out to update the way it looks. Funnily enough I still felt the original held decent graphics still.
  19. This better not last all night.
  20. I just don't get it. If I want to buy a game as I like the look of it, I then first look to see what platform i'll play it on, usually where FGers go to. If its PC, I do not think for one second that its only available on the Epic Store, or Steam, or Blizzard, etc. I'm sorry if that disappoints people but I don't even think about it. I can't understand any of these launchers give you in addition to just being able to be a space where i can have less clicks moving from one game to another. I only foresee one major thought process that could trigger why i'd buy specifically from one and not the other and that's down to if I love a game so much i want to support them directly and make sure they don't lose enough cut of the pie, and in those rare occasions i'd buy direct from the game website. Can people fill me in here? Am I supposed to care more about this than I do today?
  21. Hes not a moron, I agree but he just made a dickish mistake, and therefore happy to call him a twat for it. Problem is, when you're in the spotlight like this you cant just make mistakes like that. That's the world we live in these days.
  22. Week Commencing 11th June. 2nd Menagerie boss available. Also Truth Quest is now available to find, wherever that may be.
  23. I watched that game as well mate. Clearly a difference in standard but they didnt do too badly 😘 I want England to win stuff. Stick them in Competitive games that players know will be recorded as that fact and you see a difference. Croatia and Spain games tell you that.
  24. You say that but a few things I've got from it all. 1) We received £10 million from coming top in the group and then finishing 3rd. 2) The overall play and watchability of England in these Competitive games from the start of the group stages has been far more enjoyable than ever before. Make games matter. More like this and less Friendlies please.
