Note to self, never buy used controllers ever again.

Walk back drills. 16 shots total. Start wherever you want. Take one shot. If you hit, move back 1 yard and try again. If you miss, stay where you are and try again. 3 misses in a row means you're done, even if you have ammo left. Else, shoot at 16 and see how far back you can go. P226, started at 5 yards. One miss from 17y. S&W Model 29, started at 7 yards. Misses at 14y, 17y, and 19y.

Yeah, but I have nothing. No monitors, no OS, nada. I have a laptop. I think with the incidentals, I'd be at at least double what a PS4 costs and would have to dick with it.

I get that. I also get I piss that much money away on flapjacks and diet soda...but I'm hung up on the principal of the thing.

You can fire anything any way...once. Serious answer: It depends. Strength, grip technique, and ammunition selection can make a big difference. Grips and weight of the gun, as well, but let's assume we're talking the Model 29 and factory wood grips. With full house .44 magnums and lead bullets, I'd say its doable but it's not going to be pleasant and it'll be a long time between shots as the gun is going to jump up quite a bit. There are manufacturers now who make lighter bullets, generally all copper, that will be more pleasant to shoot when loaded to reasonable velocities.

Go on... I built PCs back when 700mhz was fast and 16 color graphics cards were a thing. I'm a bit worried it'll be like a wheelwright trying to build a spaceship.

Well, he got to be doted on my grandparents in Jordan, but eliminating the family connections I think he enjoyed Spain more. We did a lot more and walking and buying sweets was more fun than 40 minute car rides to buy sweets.

Someday comes and goes. You have to make a plan, budget, and just do it. We put back a set amount of money each month and keep a schedule for checking/renewing passports, buying plane tickets, getting lodgings, etc. If you don't plan and make it real, it's always just some nebulous goal and before you know it, its 2-3 years later and you're still sitting on your thumb spinning. We've only missed one trip, and that was due to a major home repair that ate up our budgeted money for a year.

Barcelona would be a good place to start. It's a relatively inexpensive trip, especially with the strong dollar now, it's pretty easy to navigate, etc. If you have a smart phone, take it with you. For 20E you can buy a tourist sim chip from Vodafone that gives you 1GB of data and you can have access to GPS, Google Maps which includes Barcelona's mass transit system, etc. Rome would be my second recommendation to start. Also very tourist friendly, easy to get around, it's very easy to find English speakers, etc.
