Because footwear is usually extremely overpriced. Not all but "most" $100+ shoes are not made any different than $45 shoes. Yes there are some that are made better, but the majority of them are all made the same way, pressed/formed sole to sides and end up tearing at the same place. I have no problem paying more for a shoe that is made well, but even some of the ones I looked at in the local running shop that were $120 were made no better than the $35/$45 ones.
 
Again I'll repeat that there are some that are made better, but a there's a ton that are the same quality just with a two-three times higher price just due to the name/color of them it seems. Plus the only time I really wear "sneakers" are when I go for walks in the summer. 90% of the time I am barefoot around the house or in some outdoor style sandals so I simple don't want to spend a bunch of money on a pair of shoes that I'll only wear a limited amount of time per year.

Why? Sure if you're on a budget it's nice to get those cheap pairs, but we walk in shoes everyday. If I had the money and the foot problems some of you guys have, I think it would be a good investment to get a nice pair of shoes that'll last me years and help with my problems at the same time.

I think i'm going to wait. I'll get it eventually. But Skyrim with all the DLC sounds way more appealing.

I've been apart of this community for many years now.
 
When I did have a father he wanted nothing to do with me and he never treated me right. I've spent more time with you guys on the internet, then I did with someone that was physically around. You guys have made not having a father much easier. I'm in a clan with mostly men and a lot of them are fathers. So thanks for the words, the advise, and for just plain caring about me. It means more then you will ever know. I've gone through so much since I was 18 and if it weren't for you guys, I don't know how I could have gotten through it.
 
I hope you guys have a great day with your fathers or celebrating the greatness of who your father was. And if you're like me, you have plenty of father figures here, and that's something to be thankful for.

At first I was amused by this, then I was annoyed. (Hell, even Dattebayo and I are getting along and talking) After that I figured fuck it.
 
I am going to do what I can to grow this community and make it a place for productive posts and fun where everyone can feel welcome.
 
Diddums told me he trusted me to do whatever needed to be done to make this site better than the old MW2 forums, in that regard I am going to look heavily at future site and member changes.
 
If that bothers certain parties, I don't really care, this has to be a welcome home for all equally, not just a personal playground.

I am taking my dad to see Godzilla, and then out for Hamburgers and Beer.
 
I think my son is getting me a gift card to either the PSN or Steam.

Really basic explanation
 
At the top of every page you can set a series of key words, or tags, that describe the page
 
When search engines spider across your page, they are actively look at all the words that make up the page and then sorting out how to insert them into the search results.
 
With those words clearly defined in the top portion of the code, the spider can see them, grab them, and then stop searching everything else. Without those words the spiders will typically STOP searching really quickly and move on.
 
Ever notice how the bottom members listing on the site will show things like "Google", "Bing", "Yahoo", or sometimes "Bot"
 
Those are the spiders crawling across the page.
 
I am trying to make their life easier, so that we rate higher in Search Results, and then can therefore get more members, and keep the community growing
