For the newer peeps this is an entirely free event with additional stuff you can buy with real money from the store (looking at you Dino gear). Looks like new activity rather than the Haunted Forest so nice to see how many sectors they've scoped a Halloween look and feel on them. The Jurassic Green Pulse Rifle looks pretty sweet too and based on their community managers feedback it should be good to try and get some decent rolls on it, potentially for PvP knowing how well Pulse Rifles are doing atm.

@Leeesh13  thanks for this mate, I think we could end up with many just needing to complete Garden of Salvation in the first place as well as looking to get Divinity. I'll tag some that I think may have not run it yet and also not have Divinity.

I echo want the guys are saying but if anyone wants to ask a question or need any tips regarding weapons or armour or just generally what to do as a new light feel free to ask and I’ll help in any way I can 🙂

Yea.  Title pretty much sums it up but here goes..
 
First off.  I’d like to apologize to damn near everyone a part of the clan for my behaviour over the last 4-6 weeks.  As some, if not all know, I’ve been clean and sober now for almost 15 months.  Great in the short term and I honestly thought I was handling it fine.  I haven’t had a sip of booze in that time nor have I gone to other means such as drugs..  
 
But the past month or so have really put my head in a very shitty place.  I’m not going to get into details but there’s been a lot of personal/work/life stuff that’s bombarded me all in a very short time and I’ve had a hell of a time coping with all of it.  Not too mention that my anxiety is utterly through the roof..  I’ve always had bad bouts when I’ve got health concerns and such but with all this happening in such a short span, it’s really done a number on my nerves.  The old me would’ve grabbed a case of beer and drank my worries away but that me is dead.  The new me is having a hell of a time trying to deal with a lot of this crap and it’s put me in a really anti-social behaviour.  
 
Not only that, but trivial and very minor things that shouldn’t bother me at all have ended up really pissing me off or put my mood into a darker set then I normally am.  
 
I don’t like that.  
 
A lot of you that have known me for quite sometime KNOW how I am.  The Batman, Micheal Caine happy go lucky guitar playing, impressionist that can be the life of an FG Friday and put a smile on someone’s face when they feel down.  
 
I haven’t been that lately and I need to do something about it.  It’s started to effect a lot of the folks in this group that I consider friends and I can’t let that continue.  It’s not fair for me to inadvertently take out the shitty things going on in my life on any of you.  We’re all here to have fun enjoying the hobby we all share.  If anything, I should’ve been more social and up front with my issues rather then trying to push everyone away.  That’s my bad and I truly would like to apologize for being that asshole as of late.  I know it’s not much but right now, it’s all I can offer.  I know I fucked up and I’m working to fix that.  
 
I figured I’d let you all know. 
 
I’m incredibly thankful I have my wife Sarah @Rumelylady in my life whose been by my side when I’ve been shedding tears from being overwhelmed by all this bullshit to helping me find ways to cope with all this mental trash without resorting to my old habits.  I feel I would be in a much darker place if I didn’t have her today.  
 
So, yea… Im working on my mental health.  I want to get back to what normal feels like in my eyes.  I’m finding ways to help cope with it and I felt this would be one way to do that.  The road’s never clear and there’s always gonna be bumps..  I just ended up in a landslide and I’m digging my way out right now.

I think if we look at both ways I think that would be ideal.
 
1) Multiple nights with The boss CP for people who still need 1K
2) Separate raid nights for people who either haven't experienced Last Wish, or really want to run it again as its a fantastic raid - i think these should be on weekends whenever we have the spare time to dedicate 2-3 hours.
 
I'm pretty sure theres still loads at FG that are like @MrSwainey101  and @Diddums that haven't done the raid at all and its an absolute travesty if we can't help this lot experience quite possibly one of the best raids they've ever made (doesn't mean it will be easy though!!).

@Teenwolf25  has given great intro advice. So, thanks for that.
 
@Diddums makes a good point on keeping the weapon you like, trying out new ones, etc. Because how you play is going to be different than others. For example, initially, I was very much a long distance player. I still sort of am. Originally, I was all about snipers and bows... probably a good minute on submachine guns... and definitely rocket launchers. Currently and probably for the last 2 seasons, I've been on a heavy grenade launch with certain specs instead of my favorite rocket launcher. I currently do not like snipers and prefer bows... and I love my auto-rifles over SMGs.
 
I think for armor builds, @Therealraiser  has some fantastic advice on what to spec out your armor and how. He's usually found on our Discord chat, but feel free to DM or ask him here instead!
 
I am by no means good at this game lol. But, our top players like @Venom , @Teenwolf25 , @Baabcat , @Riff Machine , @Forty6_N_two , @TurboR56Mini , @MrSwainey101 , and others who currently escape my mind and not previously mentioned can give such amazing tips and info. Just reach out to them.

It sounds more like you need to restore purchases of some kind as you do have Beyond Light @Diddums based on that picture. The season I imagine you bought it with was last season so if you want this season it is 1000 silver (£8.49 bundle with 100 extra silver).

this is how the game works. A bunch of free stuff to do and each 3 months theres some content you can pay for to play it. Other games you can pay up and you get your content and job done. This game has to make money to keep getting good new content so for 3ish quid a month (it usually works out like that), i think the seasons stuff works.
 
I'll do a separate thread when I get chance on the cost of each part and what you get as I do know that it can be confusing what you pay for sometimes. I just see it as if you're playing it and enjoying then it should be worthwhile.
 
 
Now go get that Beyond Light updated cos you've basically got a whole DLC you haven't played yet!
