    Not really,the way I'm looking at it is there's only a coupleI will won't upgraded quickly. Plus we don't know what goodies TDB will offer. Some may be much better than we have now. Also it's not mandatory to upgrade them. Only if you feel the need. Just my .02 It also gives me shit to do in the game. I'm in this for the long haul. I don't want to feel like I've completed everything that needs to be done and have to wait for the next dlc to come out.

    With Christmas coming up a several people off for a extended period of time around the holiday I thought about trying to set up a day of gaming. By gaming I mean Destiny. I was thinking about December 30th. Reset day. Split up runs on Weekly and Nightfall strikes. Run HM VoG and of course the new raid. If anyone is intrested let me know. The day can be moved as needed but thought that would be a good day to get a lot done. So find you a babysitter. Piss your wives off. Stock up of energy drinks and junk food.

    So when you upgrade with Xur the base attack will now be 300 with a exotic and go up fro there.

    Plus I've learned that on exotics you upgrade with Xur,the base damage will be 300 and go up from there. I really don't see the problem with this. I actually like it. Plus what else am I going to spend all this damn glimmer on

    Lee it is also said that the raid gear drops will be easier to come by in the new raid also. Not sure how much easier but at least they are trying

    We really dont know exactly what we are getting. We know what some of the exotics and legendary items are. Has there been a confirmed list

    Honestly how many exotic weapons are worth upgrading. Two or three.

    I wish they would do something like this with legendary gear. I really like most of it better than exotics anyway. Icebreaker may be the only one I care to upgrade honestly

    It's not a huge deal imo. It still makes your old exotics relevant. If not the would be useless against higher lvl foes. I'm glad they are doing it. Ask WoW players about when a dlc comes out how most of their old stuff I'd basically trash

    This definitely needs to happen. Hopefully over Christmas break I'll have a good bit of time in the afternoons to play. We should of had his ass today though. Only needed one or two more shots when the relic team wiped. After all the raids I've done I still enjoy doing it.
