  1. See I diagree. Destiny was a cookie cutter. Very straight forward with everything. The Division has so much more depth with crafting and mods it's stupid. I spent a hour tonight min/maxing my gear. That doesn't even take into account recalibration. Then you have the daily hard missions and the challenge mission,which is so much more difficult than any nightfall. Then the DZ with a full party is great fun. Hell the challenge mode is harder that any raid on destiny. Then you do side missions that totally complete a lot of the story. The echos and phone recording are what grimore cards in destiny should of been.

If you'd rather watch than read, here is a video: If you are at work, here is a guide: Positive Note: This isn't an elitist guide. Pretty well anyone can do this build and succeed. I don't even have perfect rolled gear and I melt faces, as seen in the video. YOU WILL TOO Start Whether you want to do PVP or PVE content, damage and survivability are essential. If you can't tank a few shots from level 32 shotgun rushers, challenge mode is nearly impossible. If you can't kill enemies without using 50% of your ammo reserve....this is a problem. My goal is to help you amp DPS, as well as help you survive engagements far easier. Weapon Choice SMG. I don't care which one. Get one. Now. DO it SMG's are currently top tier dps weapons. Not only is their stability fantastic, the built in critical chance stacks exponentially with weapon mods and armor perks to make you a killing machine. The rest of this guide will still apply if you choose to use a different weapon, don't worry! Mods Magazine mods are the LARGEST increase to dps in the game. I highly recommend getting increased magazine size + increased rate of fire as your secondary perk. If you are going to craft high-end mods, buy an extended magazine blue print before any other mod. Your scope should have increased head shot damage, and other mods should have either critical hit chance or critical hit damage Armor The only major armor piece is your GLOVES: Gloves are able to roll base weapon damage, such as +350 smg damage. Adding a flat 350 damage to your gun, which then gets crits / head shots is the largest dps boost you can get for armor pieces. For every other armor piece / perk, focus on critical hit damage / critical hit chance. Critical hit damage will most of the time be the better option, but either is good. Damage to elites is also very powerful, but if you plan to PVP a lot, avoid it Abilities and Talents Skills / Talents in this build have synergy. Each effects the other in some way, making you a wrecking ball of tanky, high damage SEXY 1. Heal with Booster shot mod:AMAZING - Not only does it amp your already high damage, it reduces incoming damage 2. Pulse with Tactical scanner mod: Pulse allows you to see enemies, while also adding critical hit damage, critical hit chance, and increased damage to pulsed targets... on a 25 second timer! This skill is a MUST HAVE for this build. Signature Skills: Recovery Link (Heal): is really average for both PVE and PVP. It definitely can help your team survive, but in clutch situations, it doesn't compare to the others Tactical Link (Damage Buff): when used in a group, this is the dps king. Mixed with your critical focused build, you will melt bosses and players alike. However, I don't think this one is the best either. You already hit like a truck... If you die in 2 seconds, what is the point? Survivor Link (Damage reduction): 80% reduced incoming damage is insanely strong. You can sit in the middle of 4 shotguns and still stay alive for a few solid moments. This ability is the dueling king, allowing you to dominate players in PVP, as well as tank shotgun rushing level 32's in challenge missions. This is my go to skill. Talents: Steady Hands: The reduced recoil when you enter cover increases your overall dps, despite it not showing on your character. Less recoil = more head shots = more damage On the Move: 30% reduced incoming damage after killing an enemy while moving. This is the flanking players dream talent. This ability makes you tanky as hell, without needing to blow cool downs on survivor link Precision: Headshots "Pulse" enemies. While I know we already have pulse, this allows you to keep your DPS sky high when pulse is on cool down. It also synergies well with: One is None: Headshots have a 50% chance to not consume a bullet. This skill is fucking broken lol. Remember what I said about magazine size? This skill adds massive amounts of damage due to increased ammo per clip. The "saved" bullets can also be "saved" multiple times, further improving this talent's efficiency

  5. My issue with youtubers is that many make videos to be controversial or click bait. If you play the game for hours and have nothing but bad things to say that seems weird to me. I don't watch videos for their opinions. The only person who I will actually watch a review video is for Level Cap. He gives a honest opinion I feel.
  6. Get the Astros,easy fix for the usb/optical problem. Don't play the xbox Seriously though bust buy a extra optical cable so you will have it hooked up to both systems. Just switch it out on the receiver to the headset. A lot easier that switching it on the back of the console. I think you will run into problems with any headset playing on multiple consoles. Plus you will have to get a chat cable for the Xbone

  8. Chip and I had a epic moment in the DZ My first time in the DZ,had a full pack and needed to extract. Some one called one in so we headed to it. There was a shit ton of people waiting to extract. The chopper came in and a group of four decided to kill everyone. As we were loading onto the rope they naded about five people. Ran off with our gear. Ohhh not so fast for the father and son duo. We respawned and took after the four man group. The two of us ended up getting them cornered in a dead end and slaughtering those fucks. Then they decided to try to come back two more times. Didn't work to well for them. Got some really gear from it
  9. My only complaints about them are the battery life somewhat sucks on the a50 and if I'm playing for a while they get hot. Other than that they are amazing

  11. So far I'm really enjoying it. Finally had a good session. My biggest gripe is the AI has perfect aim. Very little room for error. Other than that I'm liking it

  15. If it has good puncture you will want to build on the good not the bad,typically. Build the weapon to its strengths. Does that make sense?
  16. No. It's a third person RPG sort of. It's more like Mass Effect that anything I've played.

Really redirection,flow,streamline,intensify stretch,constitution and range for your frames Any element mod,serrain and heavy caliber on primary guns. Then you build it to the strengths of the weapon. Crit % and crit chance. Impact or slash..... you get the idea

  20. Up until the last patch I've had no connection issues. After last patch it's been bad for me. I don't rage quit much but in the past week I've cut it off several times. The game has been good,really good. Feels like old CoD. I still wish it was more boots on the ground but the specialist haven't been horrible

  23. If it's a high quality in a single player game I'm fine with a shorter game,that tells a great story,that you have some sort of relationship with the characters. For multi-player games it's about end game content. Case in point Destiny had really good end game content. It kept us playing for over a year. If Destiny stopped after you had beaten the game how pissed would everyone been. People still bitched about the amount of content Destiny had. I've got doubts about The Division because one,I think we all feel a little shit on by Destiny year 2. Plus they haven't said anything about end game content. From my understanding the characters in the game have very little communication. Like your character doesn't say anything. Only someone speaking to you telling you what to do or where to go. Sounds a lot Destiny like to me. I'm not saying it won't be great I'm saying I wish they gave more info on it.
