  1. i have only played valheim and 7 days to die from these, the modded one is fubar from what i understood because of version conflicts with the mods when i talked with carl so might as well nuke it, as for the vanilla one i haven't played and contributed enough to it although i would like to continue playing the game as for valheim for a long time it's been me, carl, la and lee most of the time, i obviously would like to keep it so we can play together and we have made some great stuff there but if people have moved on from it it's ok as well
  2. gasp, say it ain't so, they cancelled this masterpiece? who would have expected it?
  3. yep like the souls series this is another game for masochists, it has a very steep learning curve, btw 2 is free on steam if i remember correctly, it's just the base game but it's a good entry without seriously splurging on something you might not like, cause these games have a ton of dlcs
  4. yeah it's such a fascinating piece of technology that doesn't seem that interesting up close if you don't know about what it did, but it's impressive that people now were able to reconstruct it through a series of scans when it has become a rusted and fused piece of metal also here's another piece of technology ahead of it's time, it was the first steam engine and it was made more than 2000 years ago Aeolipile - Wikipedia EN.WIKIPEDIA.ORG
  5. i have crusader kings 2 on my pc but this game is beyond my abilities atm it seems, no matter how hard i try i can't even become the king of ireland which is considered the tutorial area by many players, i always go bankrupt if i start a war and then get beaten to a pulp
  6. hey, belated happy birthday ryan @ImRyzxn !!!
  7. even though i am too young to have lived through that era of gaming i still got some taste through my gba and from playing at friends houses and i have to agree with almost all of them except the one about challenge and the arcades, i think these two were kinda "interconnected" and in the beginning of home consoles it passed over to them too, arcades had to be very difficult cause they didn't have much else to offer and you had the added feature that you had to use coins or tokens bought with coins to play them so if you lost regularly it would be profitable for the arcade store etc but yeah the rest, i totally agree with the points even with the challenge partially, if it's a fair onee which is kinda rare in most games and that's why from software games are so popular this past decade, they are fairly challenging
  8. so it's a bit more updated visually game compared to the original ps3 version and they sell it for 60/70? is the last of us going to be sony's skyrim?
  9. yep and until that point she behaves as this super intelligent, serious scientist saying stuff like day 160, still no sign of intelligence from the zombies and then she cuts herself like a moron and i was like, yeah i agree with you, you have the intelligence of a dumb rock trust me it got much worse until the 30 minute mark when i switched it off
  10. okay, i tried to watch this shit yesterday and i closed it 30 minutes into the first episode, it was THAT bad hell it makes the milla jovovich resident evil movies seem cinematic masterpieces that were snubbed at the oscars omg was lance reddick wasted on this, the writing is atrocious no wonder netflix is in recession with the garbage they keep throwing money at
  11. heated seats aside, look at the other more important stuff like driver assist and map update, since the future of cars is electric self driving ones they are going to force us to pay monthly for things that will be vital for a self driving cars otherwise no insurance company will cover you and the car will be a moving deathtrap, that's 114 per month, plus all the other bullshit they will find to monetize, welcome to the future where even breathing will require a subscription the future is going to fucking suck majorly, we are diving head first into a cyberpunk dystopia
  12. thanks for the info, will definitely check it out sometime, i too am really tired of endless, bloated but barren at the same time open world games we have been getting in the last decade
  13. wow it looks beautiful too with nice atmosphere, how's the story, is it good or at least average?
  14. i saw a video which showed some fan making the witcher 1 intro in vr and it had this song, so of course i had to listen to it again being a blind guardian fan
  15. welcome aboard brett, hope you have a nice stay with all of us!!!
  16. from what i saw it is pretty much the same game with the one they showed all those years ago, so why is it still not out yet all these years later? also it looks very uninspired, boring, bland and monetized to hell and back and the cluttered ui, my god... it seems that anyone who wants to get their pirate fix will either have to play sea of thieves or ac4/rogue
  17. I just completed this quiz. My Score 41/100 My Time 119 seconds
  18. even though i haven't finished the game yet i have to agree that the levels etc pre lordvessel are great, after it they become much more linear and there isn't that much fear of going the wrong way or getting lost and ending up in the catacombs early for example
  19. another example of corporate taking the "wrong" lessons in my opinion, they receive backlash for legitimate reasons that they could listen to and make a better product next time but better play it safe and scrap everything, also giving us the message that either we are going to worship everything they shovel out, no matter the quality of the product or they aren't going to give us anything at all because we are "unreasonable" etc
  20. i have seen that there is a mod that works on servers like ours too that makes it possible to sort of regenerate the old explored areas with the new content that was added later, so if the majority wants we can just "refresh" the current world instead of starting anew, cause if we were to start a new world we might as well wait for the game to be done and delete our current characters as well so all of us can start from zero here's the mod that i saw a while back Upgrade World at Valheim Nexus - Mods and community WWW.NEXUSMODS.COM This single player mod allows regenerating or adding new content to already explored areas. For dedicated servers, open the world in single...
  21. happy birthday to @Plumbers Crack and @jordie1892 , hope you have a great day
  22. i am going to put me down as a maybe in case i am not in athens then for unforseen reasons, otherwise i will definitely play
  23. food is for me and my family one of the ways you can "explore" another culture since cooking and food is SO important to us mediterranean people, we have a great time bonding over making it, trying new combos, new ingredients and i have always liked being in the kitchen, some of my earliest memories are sitting in the kitchen and watching my mum cook, "helping" her, you know passing her the salt or pepper since i was too small to be of any true help, but i am thankful that we are open minded and curious enough that we don't dismiss the cuisines of other cultures and even though we are poor and it's getting worse with the last decades shitstorms we can get a glimpse into another culture from our home even if it's miniscule
  24. nice collection @Luseth , i see you are a fan of pokemon, i think i vaguely remember golden sun, what was it about? anyway here is my gameboy collection, i played these games until i got a pc and later a ps3 zelda and warrioland though were kicking my ass so much when i was younger, they had some very difficult parts, i remember i was completely stuck on some dungeon/puzzle of zelda and had abandoned the game and only finished it very recently after i saw a walkthrough, so yeah that game took me more than 10 years to finish😅
