In terms of new content as far as maps go there has been nothing so far in addition since launch. The game has been out for like 2 and a half months. Just because the game is a 2 year cycle, doesn't mean they have to drip feed the content even more sparsely. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy most of what the game has to offer. Saying that I only play MP, the resources are all getting used up on other side modes or ideas. I don't have to play them which is fine, but I feel the MP content is lacking atm. Just a few more maps would be nice. Game modes are sometimes worth experimenting with sure. It's nice to attempt something different I guess. However Tier 1 was a butchering of the highest order. I'm glad they are going to bring back the original Hardcore. At least they have realised how well Tier 1 didn't do and are rectifying the problem. That I can commend them on, actually listening to the community and taking things on board and using the information proactively. I feel they gave themselves more work by changing or doing certain things that enraged the fan base. E.g the Tier 1 version of HC, a terrible UI and of course an underwhelming and utterly shite perk system. Nobody asked for those 3 shockers, but they gave them anyway and now have to invest time fixing them. People do however ask for new maps all the time, did we get any? So when Season 2 drops we will be treated to at least A new map I presume? 3 months deep to get a new map. 3 months to give us normal Hardcore, a decent UI and maybe a rework of the perks? Shame on you Activision........ BTW my post isn't aimed at anyone or anything in particular. Just sharing my thoughts and ramblings on our current Cod.

All 4 Battle Rifles are Platinum, also the Chimera DLC AR is as well. Still barely past the halfway mark on the Platinums, which is ridiculous considering I've done multiple weapon categories. The Longshots are really that boring, makes me sleepy and sad just thinking about them. Still have most of the Snipers to level up and get gold as well.

I enjoyed the Minibak, that large mag is great. Connection is a gamechanger, even the top tier guns will feel shit with lag. The worse guns will feel even worse. I still think the Minibak is a good medium gun. Not crazy, but lot's of fun.

Basilisk Pistol is gold, I then knocked out all the longshots so all 5 Pistols are Platinum. 🙂

It does feel like a long time with the content. The game was released early this year. We had a pre season, then a current Season 1 that feels like eternity till it's done. It only had 2 weeks left till season 2, then I checked it the other day and it's 30 days. I've reached max rank and done the battle pass ages ago. Because of the season delays I reckon we will only get 5 seasons rather than the promised 6. It happened with Vanguard as well. Both "new" maps are old maps so far. Don't get me wrong I love a bit of Shipment and Shoothouse for my camo grinding. It's the same cycle as MW19. No new maps for ages and a small pool of launch maps, then they added Shoothouse and Shipment. Eventually they added Vacant and Crash. A couple of classic done to death Cod4 maps. Where is all the Terminals and High rises at? They are probably saving the big boy maps for the Premium content MW2 expansion part 2. Wallets at the ready. As people have said before, you get various bug/glitches within a game that don't get sorted for months. Whereas the shop stops working for 2hrs and it's fixed immediately without any hassle. Which Castle is this we are getting? Is it the "Castle" from Vanguard we got in the last offering less than 12 months ago? Aka Courtyard from World At War? I can barely contain myself due to the upcoming excitement of a fresh "new" map content. Although some of this post sounds salty, I'm not really. More sarcastic than anything. I've played all the recent Cods, I don't ever expect too much. The business model they are running is highly predictable and heavily marinated in a thick Sbmm sauce. Yes a gravy of disappointment and annoyance.

Finished a few more golds, got the Taq-M and SA-B50 Marksman Rifles done. Only the MK2 Carbine left to do. Also got the P890 Pistol is gold. Just left with the Basilisk and also most of the Snipers.
