http://www.thesixthaxis.com/2016/03/22/sony-has-closed-evolution-studios/ Well this news seems to have come from out of nowhere but Sony has confirmed to Gamesindustry.biz that it is closing down Evolution Studios, whose latest game was Driveclub. The studio itself was first formed in 1999, and released World Rally Championship on PS2 on 2001. This was followed by four more WRC games on that platform before Evolution moved onto the Motorstorm series on PS3 and Vita. Those of you who were waiting for a Driveclub 2 or a new Motorstorm will be disappointed, because unless Sony brings in another studio to work on those IPs they look to be over. Sony’s full statement is below. Regular reviews take place throughout SCE Worldwide Studios, ensuring that the resources that we have in such a competitive landscape can create and produce high quality, innovative and commercially viable projects. As part of this process we have reviewed and assessed all current projects and plans for the short and medium term and have decided to make some changes to the European studios structure. As a result, it has been decided that Evolution Studio will close. It is regrettable that this decision will lead to compulsory redundancies. We accept that this decision will mean that we risk losing high calibre staff but by focusing on other Studios that already have exciting new projects in development we believe we will be in a stronger position going forward and able to offer the best possible content of the highest quality for our consumers. Where possible we will try to reallocate people onto other projects. If appropriate opportunities are not possible within the company, we will assist staff in any way we can, including speaking with local employers and with other development companies. Evolution has been an important part of SCE Worldwide Studios for over 10 years – working on ground-breaking racing titles like WRC, Motorstorm and DRIVECLUB. I loved the Conquest Large maps; played it pretty much exclusively in BF4. Sadly, now in the game no one works together to achieve any sort of goal, and they have nerfed Igla's and Stingers into being pointless without a group. EDIT: Oh and Rob, I agree with you about the Yellow editted text.

I have to ask, would you consider BF3/4 to be a twitchy shooter? Or Destiny? At times I don't, but then there are times when I do for all three, I am really torn. I prefer the different playstyle of Battlefield over CoD, and would like to explore that more with folks. But I am like the only one that really enjoys it. If this is more like BF then I would be interested in picking it up

This popped up in Watchdogs for me the first time I played it and it made me realize that Ubisoft is out of ideas. You hack cameras to be able to get closer to a network tower to hack the network...... Regardless of the fact that you are ALREADY ON THE DAMN NETWORK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thats when I realized I was taking out Templar towers still.

dude, wait till the end. Bernthals look and feel for the role is just amazing, not because he is the punisher, but because he brings depth to the character, and you can not only visually see the damage he has gone through, but you can see the transformation into this force of nature character. Powerful scenes to pay attention to Cemetary Diner Rooftop (Not the one you mentioned, another scene)

The game you are playing again? But seriously, this is one of the reasons I never buy games at release anymore, and always advise folks against doing it

EDIT: This was for Drifter: That sucks man, my son and I thoroughly enjoyed Pixels. I get why folks don't like it though Peter Dinklage's character was based off of Billy Mitchell. I had the pleasure of meeting him at a Pinball convention in Orlando a few years ago, It was shocking how accurate Dinklage was.

I am enjoying Warframe, but will most likely end up getting Division around my birthday. I enjoyed it enough and the style of shooter it is, is something I will spend a lot of time in.
