One other thing I was thinking about making a "Themed" server, like maybe a Norse themed server. Not really sure what you all thought of that. EDIT: Also, depending on what mods folks would like to run, we (I) will need to do either a Forge server or Bukkit. MCPC which combined the two, appears to be dead, so no more mixing it up like we did before.

You will definitely need your login. Towny is a plugin for a Bukkit modded Minecraft server. The plugin itself is a manager for a Resident-Town-Nation hierarchy, as well as a block permission manager for a grid-like protection system. Each town has a mayor, while a nation has a king. They both have their own assistants to help run their respective people. Players can also purchase land from the town, as well as an optional daily tax set by the mayor. The player can allow his friends from out of town to build on his land when even his very own town's people can't build if he so wishes. The bases of protection follows under how the world is separated into chunks. For those unaware, minecraft servers are broken up into 16x16x128 sections of blocks. The 128 being the height from the adimantium floor to the clouds in the sky. The protection ignores the height an focuses on the x and z planes. The default size for grid squares is 16x16, similar to the chunk size (configurable when you start using towny). So claiming a townblock (a grid square) allows that section of land to follow your town's or the plot owner's permissions. Each town can claim up to a certain amount of townblocks, a set ratio or amount configured in the setting that is relative to the amount of players taking residence in that town. Residents themselves have no limit on how many they claim, however the daily tax (when using alongside iConomy) will take a bite out of their resources. The money is tunneled to the town's bank account that only the mayor can withdraw from, except if the town belongs to a nation. Any town belonging to a nation may be required to pay the nation a daily upkeep as well. MCMMO: The goal of mcMMO is to take core Minecraft game mechanics and expand them into add an extensive and quality RPG experience. Everything in mcMMO has been carefully thought out and is constantly being improved upon. Currently, mcMMO adds thirteen unique skills to train and level in. Each of these skills is highly customizable through our configuration files, allowing server admins to tweak mcMMO to best suit the needs of his or her server. Additionally, when run in conjuction with SpoutPlugin, mcMMO also has a custom XP bar to allow for easy tracking of progress towards leveling up. Know that the mcMMO team is dedicated to providing an ever-evolving experience, and that we carefully read all feedback and bug reports in order to evaluate and balance the mechanics of mcMMO in every update. (the thing I like about MCMMO is that it allows people to get rewards from basic building that you normally wouldn't get. Dirt will drop Glowstone dust, Gravel will drop bones, gunpowder, and flint, Trees will drop their leaves instead of saplings, etc..)

I can help you, just Download the new version of the game as what I sent you ages ago will not work with new servers.

I love your optimism, but that would be so bizarre for this series, that I think it would be a jump the shark style moment.

I've mentioned a few times now that I am not a fan of my sister. By that I mean I truly cannot stand her. She pulls this crap where she makes these flagrant assumptions about people, with absolutely ZERO input or experience. Case in point: She frequently rails against Muslims, and Religion of all kinds. Yet she gladly holds up the fact that she has never attended church, or read the bible, Quran, Torah, etc.. She prefers getting tattoo's, her hair dyed, or nails done, to buying clothes for her kids. She makes really horrible life decisions and then expects everyone to back her up, or help her out. (She bought a house in Lousiana, in a flood plane, on the beach. The Gulf is literally 20 feet out, and 1 ft below her back porch.) She frequently makes backhanded remarks, and then when people call her out on it, she runs away crying persecution. She left her husband, dying of bladder cancer, to go bang a chef at Waffle House, that was just out of prison, and a raging Alcoholic. (We call him #3, as he isn't deserving of a real name) Nutshell: I hate her, and damn near everything about her. So for the last few years I have managed to stay "Sister Drama" free from her. Both my mother and father have also been, as they were tired of her shit. I don't answer her calls, or texts. She isn't smart enough to use Email, as its not Facebook, so no worries there. However, My dad has decided to reconcile various things in his life, so he has opened the door again for her. She has now decided to start randomly showing up to my house. I refused her entry. She went back to my dad, and decided to hit him up for money, he gave in, and then called me because he was short. I don't have any damn money, but, I sold some stocks and paid his mortgage for him, and bought groceries. Rinse repeat the above a few dozen times, you guys get the idea. I am at the point though, where I can't play these games anymore, even with my dad. So, how would you all recommend I handle this. Its going to go Nuclear eventually, so at this point I figure get the plan in place and make it happen.

Nah man, I knew you were talking about news and not friends. So yea, my question still stands. Does knowing whats happening in Syria, 10 minutes ago, impact your daily life at all? (Just an example) IDK, there was a time, when I was writing full time, that knowing that stuff did have an impact on what I was doing and how I made money. Then I stopped writing, and I started really looking at my addiction to news, and I started to question myself and my motives. I'm not saying you should, or that there is anything wrong with what you are doing, just chatting here.

Yea, but do you really need the news that fast? Or has it become another addiction like so many other things. I guess I am like Doc in that, if I need to know something, then email or call me.

I parental locked TLC in my house, no one has the code but me, and I chose random numbers, so that I will never be able to unlock it. There is nothing redeemable about these shows, or events. My wife created a facebook account a few weeks ago to stay connected with the locak Homeschool org's. So in that regard it helps plan field trips and play dates for my kid. IDK, I still prefer email

here are my cats, Fat Fat and Fuzz Fuzz. My son named them both, Fat Fat is mine and Fuzz is my wife's Side by side, although not really. I don'thave a good side by side comparison of the two cats, but Fattie is about 2x as big as Fuzzie Goddamn banana! Get away from my Box! (Seriously, Fattie hates bananna's, you put one near him and he beats the crap out of it. If I leave one on the counter, he will jump up, knock it off, and then get back down. He gets yelled at whenever he is on the counter, so he hates banana's to teh point that he risks me yelling at him in order to kill them) This cushion is mine, get your own. This is where I sleep. Also, Fattie is about 25 lbs, but is solid and really healthy acording to the vet. Other than his Male Udder from when he got his nuts cut, he isn't fat at all.

Theories for the new season Karl starts getting way more nutso, but the kids from the town start working with him. Think Lord of the Flies style craziness Governor will not be seen until the end of the season the new Antagonist will be the remnants of some military division. (Remember the group the governor killed that was on a radio with a larger force) Rick dies cause people are tired of his shit and no one gives a fuck about Lori anymore. The Big Black guy takes over, which will cause issues with Karl Full frontal scene involving Maggie WOO, she might be a zombie in this, don't rally care, if you know what I mean and I think that you do Michonne learns how to shoot

FTB is going to be stuck in 1.5 land for a long time to come. Mojangg is changing how they handle Item Codes, so there won't be a relation anymore between how they code MC, and how the Mod Authors code. Which on one hand is really flippin horrible, but in the long term its good as it allows for better mods and removes the weird constraints where mods could never overwrite the base item codes. Lately I am starting to back away from FTB/ Tekkit, its not nearly as much fun as it used to be for me. I think a modified Vanilla server would be the best way to go though. Add in a few things like Towny, MCMMO, would make it a little better. I was also thinking of maybe doing a "nation style" game, which is something that Towny lends itself towards. IDK to be honest, I have loads of ideas, but not really sure how to proceed with it.

I have a coworker that sent a bill for $25.00 to his Dr for a cancelled appointment. He showed up, waited in the lobby, was never seen. He had called and confirmed his appointment and everything days ahead of time. The Dr office paid it. Now, that being said, I think it was a fluke on the part of the dr's accountant, like maybe they weren't paying attention, just saw a bill, and paid it without thinking. Still though, it makes for an awesome story and bragggn rights
