Created by Ordnance Survey (OS), the original map re-created 224,000 sq km (86,000 sq miles) of Britain using more than 22 billion blocks. The updated version uses 83 billion blocks, with each one representing 25m of real-world British soil, road or grass. The Minecraft UK map is so detailed that people should be able to find their own house on it. Ordnance Survey said it would put an interactive map on its main webpage so people could generate co-ordinates to lead them to their home on the Minecraft version. Game play Minecraft is a hugely popular video game set in worlds built of blocks that can be mined for raw materials that can then be turned into tools, weapons, armour and other items. Many people just play on randomly generated worlds but others build and share custom-created worlds for adventuring. The original Minecraft map of the UK was created in two weeks by intern Joseph Braybrook in September 2013. The updated version was also created by Mr Braybrook, who recently started working at Ordnance Survey thanks to a graduate recruitment scheme. Mr Braybrook said the map had been doubled in scale to make it much more detailed. Mapping tools created by OS staff were used to give it a "more expansive appearance that is closer to real life", he said. The increase in scale means that woods and forests now have computer-generated trees, tributaries to rivers are visible and motorways, local roads and rail links are all accurate. "I'm looking forward to seeing if people eventually build a working railway system in-game," said Mr Braybrook in a statement. OS said it planned to make the one-gigabyte map freely available for download for people to play on. The original map has been downloaded more than 100,000 times, said the OS. However, it added, its relatively coarse resolution limited what could be done with it. By contrast, said Mr Braybrook, the new version should be easier for Minecraft fans to get to grips with. "I've attempted to re-create Great Britain to be more realistic, while maintaining the gameplay elements people love from the game," he said. The map is believed to be the biggest Minecraft map made using real-world geographic data.

As a Bears Fan I think we have it in us to have a great year, maybe not super bowl, but a really good year none the less I think my Ravens are going to suck though Wife bought me the NFL Rewind pack for the season. I end up watching every game a day behind when it airs, but thats okay. Its worth the 35$ because I don't have to deal with commercials, timeouts, or insane local coverage. Its almost as good as watching Soccer LOL

I don't know many Betas for MMORPG's that don't start you have start at the very beginning. The revamp of all this is seriously nice. I loved it last time it was open for us, and this time its even better, its insane just how good this game is. My only concern is the end game content, i have a feeling it is going to be hard core group oriented.

DO NOT BUY IT!!!!!!!!!!!!! It has almost none of the features from Magic 2014 and earlier editions. Instead of being able to change a deck mid campaign you are "locked" into the deck you selected after the tutorial. The only way to change a deck is to build a new one through campaign, but you have to win to do that, so if you do what I did which is Blue/Red (Water/Fire), it will be extremely frustrating. Seems worth it to me!" Wow, was that a mistake. I've played all the past DotP games, and their UIs were always subpar, but this game takes it to a while new level of shittiness. Everytime you hit a button on a menu, you have to wait like 5 seconds while it plays an agonizingly slow transition graphic. And the menu is so confusing, you have to hit like 3-5 buttons to go somewhere (say, the deck editor), and then if you want to leave you have to go BACK several times to reach the main menu, and then click several times more to go where you now want to go and OH MY GOD IT'S SO SLOW JUST KILL ME NOW. Seriously, who the hell thought this was a good idea? On top of that, there's tons of small things that they managed to totally break. For instance, by default, you just click a card to play it and the game automatically selects which lands to tap to play that card. Generally speaking, in past games this worked just fine for 2-color decks as the game chose which to tap rather intelligently, but they added an option that let you manually choose just to be safe. In Magic 2015, it's like they intentionally changed the automatic tapping to troll everyone who purchases the game. If you have, say, 2 black and 2 red mana, and have two cards in your hand that both cost 1 red and one colorless, and you just click one to play the card, it will TAP BOTH YOUR RED MANA. So now you can't play the other card. And it does this CONSTANTLY, so now every time you want to play a card you have to hover over it for several seconds until it lights up which lands it intends to tap, then hit the toggle lands button until a combination of lands that isn't totally fucking dumb lights up, and THEN play the card. Every. Single. Time.

I investigated those errors more. Its all style options. They can all be ignored for the most part. You ran off to the gym before I could finish telling you that. (NUTSHELL: We do not need to be 100% W3C compliant, we do not need to worry about HTML5 as we are not an HTML5 site. The few pages where we use <center> is not a big deal, as it has zero impact on the main area (The pages guilty of this are the membership, calendar, and donation pages).)
