    Its a trade off to be honest Its not necessarily a bad idea, it just comes with an equal number of cons to its pro's I will look up plugins that do similar things and see what all they require

    I didn't click the link as I hate all Gawker sites. so I will instead ask you At what point are they planning this to take place? I assume after John and Aeryn go through the Peacekeeper wars and fuck up the scaryns (sp). Which would be fine IMO Also, I would love for Talyn to have survived the starburst from inside the command carrier and to come back in this.

    facebook sucks thats all I have to say about this (Seriously though, this would be possible but could be a pain to accomplish as you would have to scan a text field in the DB and then see if it matches the DisplayName for any member, and then generate a notification. Its totally possible, and not particularly hard, but it is a pain in the ass, and would slow the site down. I don't doubt that there are plugins out there that do something similar, I just dont' know if dave wants ti implement them)

    This reminds me of all the problems I had organizing raids and heroics in the various MMORPG's I have played over the years. Sadly there isn't much of a solution without this becoming like a part time job

    This is a good point I have had a lot of time to think lately, and I am wondering if we muddied the waters with having that section down there. It has the potential to create a divisive atmosphere. Our name is "Forever Gaming" as thats what we do. Politics suck, and the news sucks in general. Maybe moving it to be a sub of General Discussion would be better, and not put such emphasis on it. IDK, just tossing shit out there
