  1. or does it?
  2. I am curious here, how many of you guys have ever played an MMO like WoW, EQ, DAoC, or Guild Wars before? EDIT: So I just watched the video and something that I think is pretty big was said. You can pick ONE faction now, no more wearing faction items. Now this was incredibly vague, have any of you all seen an explanation out there on this?
  3. We can try to get something going this weekend if you want? Having never done the fight, I know we will need some time
  4. Sadly my son is sick. He is camped out here where I would normally play. We are watching Ben 10
  5. EDIT: No worries on the Copy/ Pasta, its a pet peeve of mine, so whenever I see links, I always just grab them and repost. You don't have to do it. -------------------- I really want to know to what level are they rethinking the items moving forward. It is perfectly normal for someone to dump all over there old gear with better gear in an expansion. Destiny wasn't following that method though. So moving to it could be good, but could also be a HUGE PITA for most players not used to it. Not sure if that makes sense. Basically, there is a chance that the Whites and Greens in Taken King will be better than our current Purples and Yellows. Nutshell - Dave, don't worry about getting JellyHorn
  6. I am not a fan of Mortal Kombat, sorry man Ace Combat though, now that is a damned good series
  7. So, farming anything right now seems kind of pointless. I would like to hit Skolas at some point, but after really reading this, I don't see a reason to other than to get the last year one achievement. IDK
  8. Copy/Paste Source 1 Our recent visit to Bungie provided us with hours of hands-on impressions detailed in this month’s magazine cover story, and one of the major changes we learned about is a new approach to leveling. Players earn XP by killing monsters, completing missions, and turning in bounties, as has always been the case, but that experience now feeds directly into your level progression all the way from 1 to the new level cap of 40. Meanwhile, weapons and armor continue to provide increased power to your character, with new gear unlocking for use as you level up. “The conflation of gear and character level led to this place where your identity was determined by things outside of your control,” says creative director Luke Smith. “We don’t want to do that.” We were also told that Destiny’s loot system will now pay closer attention to the loot you have already received when determining an appropriate drop, so that players will more consistently receive armor and weapons that provide meaningful power growth, items that vary their gear slot from one drop to the next, and fewer drops of items that a player has already attained. Copy/Paste Source 2 The NorthGhost, Leveling revamp and the previously-announced Questification of content will apply to all of Destiny in the 2.0 update — Luke Smith (@thislukesmith) https://twitter.com/thislukesmith/status/628607635495890944 ' class="bbc_url">@ The NorthGhost, Leveling revamp and the previously-announced Questification of content will apply to all of Destiny in the 2.0 update — Luke Smith (@thislukesmith) https://twitter.com/thislukesmith/status/628607635495890944 Copy/Paste Source 3 Our recent visit to Bungie headquarters confirmed what many fans have suspected for some time. Older legendary armor and weapons from across Destiny’s first year are not set to progress in power as Year Two begins. Simultaneously, dozens of new weapons and armor pieces are entering the game in an effort to revitalize the collection and discovery experience of the game. Based on our time with the game, strong Year-One gear will serve players well for the opening hours of The Taken King, but new weaponry and armor will rapidly replace older items, both because of interesting new perks, but also for increased attack or defense values. The change also resets the gear progression flow through new Taken King-tier white, green, blue, and purple gear, providing meaningful distinctions between new items as you level up through the new content. While Destiny has never strictly been considered an MMO, this approach for Year-Two gear echoes common practice in the MMO genre, including games like World of Warcraft or Final Fantasy XIV. Even so, it remains to be seen if fans are open to experimenting with the new arsenal if it means leaving old favorites behind. “I definitely feel like some of our players are ready to play with some new toys,” says creative director Luke Smith. “And we’ve built a whole bunch of new toys. There are definitely some weapons that you are going to find better versions of – there’s going to be something that replaces that sniper rifle that you love.”
  9. Just stumbled across this browser based game, wasn't sure if any of you played it or anything.
  10. I wanted the BB rifle to fall and hit him at the end.
  11. Sorry Tommy, if I had seen this sooner, I would have been on. I am working now though. I can be back on in about 3 hours though, 11am CST
  12. Enjoy, sadly, we can't embed gifv's yet http://i.imgur.com/T8ZyLVs.gifv
  13. I posted a new idea for a sequel Sadly New Ideas in Hollywood seem to die a slow death. You have to look for Indie films if you want new ideas The good thing about what they are doing is it doesn't destroy what we all grew up with. This isn't Lucas going in an editing footage and re-releasing things. Or even Ted Turner attacking it with his box of crayons. All the DVD's out there of Ghostbusters will still be fine. When we watch Ghostbusters on USA or TNT or AMC, we will just have to check the year listing for it, if its not 1984, then we don't watch it. We can all just move on and ignore this New movie.
  14. Pacman has really let himself go:
  15. Data modelling kicking in: Why would you double the kills? In a perfect world they would have reported the stats separately for systems. Dividing is much safer statistically, as you know that you have two sets of data to look at for Red Death and Last Word. You know for certain that X number of people across two systems used the weapon. To settle it all though, I shot an email to the guy that made this and asked him to separate out the systems
  16. I looked more into this. The script that Ramis and Akroyd wrote was tossed out, they changed it from a Sequel to being a full blown Reboot But, to your point about it the series being a classic and not working with an all female cast. I disagree, I think with the right all female cast, it actually could be as good as 1 and better than 2. So lets ignore the bullshit that is going to be the new Hollywood pandering to SJW's and pretend it never happened. ------------- Ghostbusters that could have worked. Setting: Random West Coast city or Chicago. (Get the fuck out of new york) Premise: The four ghostbusters from the original two movies passed on there technology to other scientists in their field, in different cities to help fight ghosts in their cities. And the technology gets passes along to new scientists that are up and coming in the same field. Bring back Sigourney Weaver, she plays Dana again and this time has an active role other than Victim (she could play a Venkman role, and I think she could pull it off, but I vote she stay as a "5th" member of the team) Queen Latifah or Jada Pinkett Smith as the "Straight Man" of the group (Winston's role) Michelle Yeoh - Plays the Spengler role. (she does really well with straight faced sarcasm) Kristen Bell - takes on a similar role to Ray Stantz The hard part is placing a venkman style character. Murray can't be carbon copied. So he really shouldn't be. A fourth team member is needed here, and I vote someone take the role of Oscar. This ties Dana back in, as well as the original movies much more thoroughly. Oscar being a male opens up a huge amount of options for us. We just need a character in his mid 20's to late 30's: Chris Pratt Chris Hemsworth James DeFranco All spring to mind as viable candidates Also I will personally cock punch or cunt punt anyone that suggests Shia Lebouf, or Channing Tatum
  17. So divide Red Death and Last Word by 2 Hawkmoon is still lower
  18. Also, just so you guys are aware, Dan Akroyd wrote this along with Harold Ramis. The guys that wrote the other Ghostbusters movies. While I despise Melissa McCarthy as an actress/ comedian, I do have some faith in the writing of Akroyd and Ramis. Which is why I am taking a "sit and wait" philosophy with this movie.
  19. Its not a remake, its a sequel Dont really care that its all women. will it be funny? I don't know, but I have misgivings.
  20. The next patch will be arriving quite soon. Please check the list of changes below. PERFORMANCE: Overall improvements to performance, including some issues that may have been caused by 1.07. UI: [Japanese Only][PS4 Only] Fixes an issue where the background text of certain books would flicker. Fixes an issue where part of the Kaer Morhen map would not display properly. GAMEPLAY: Fixes a rare issue where items would disappear from the stash. Fixes a very rare issue which would cause Geralt to get stuck when trying to run. The interaction pop-up will no longer appear on lootable objects that are empty. Fixes an occasional glitch in one of the dwarf combat animations. Heads chopped off during finishers will no longer disappear. "Players can perform a roll just before landing to significantly reduce the damage caused by falling. We've added a tutorial pop-up window explaining this to make it clearer." In patch 1.07, the level requirements for certain items were scaled up, leaving some players stuck with only unusable gear. With patch 1.08, we are introducing the Wolven Hour potion. This potion will be available in everyone's inventory once they install the patch. It will reduce level requirements on all gear for a period of one hour. This will give players time to level up or find alternative equipment using the gear that was available to them in patch 1.05 but became unusable after patch 1.07. After one hour, the potion's effects will cease and the requirements for all gear will revert to their original, pre-potion values. Fixes an issue where players were unable to compare their items with ones sold by merchants. ACHIEVEMENTS: Players will now be able to complete the Card Collector achievement. Achievements are now working properly again and will be unlocked if players meet their requirements after installing this patch (PC version). GRAPHICS: Fixes an issue where interiors would sometimes not display properly on the minimap. Fixes an issue where certain world elements would sometimes be missing and noticeable visual glitches would be present while in Novigrad. QUEST: Fixes an issue where players were unable to finish the "It Takes Three to Tango" quest, even though they had obtained wine at the Kingfisher. Fixes an issue where Geralt would sometimes die after traveling to Velen in the quest "Something Ends, Something Begins." The entrance to the area where the Sunstone is obtained will no longer be blocked off if the player exits it prematurely during "The Sunstone" quest. Fixes an issue where players were unable to complete the "Get Junior" quest on certain occasions. Fixes an issue where players were unable to finish the "Scavenger Hunt: Viper School Gear" quest due to a closed gate. Fixes an issue where some players were unable to investigate rooms during the "Family Matters" quest, effectively blocking their progression. Fixes an issue where players were unable to finish the "Hey, You Wanna Look at my Stuff?" quest. Fixes an issue where players were unable to talk to Roche during the "An Eye for an Eye" quest. Fixes an issue where Roche would stay at his camp instead of going to the Oxenfurt Bridge in the "Get Junior" quest. Fixes an issue where, under certain circumstances, Yennefer would not appear in Oxenfurt during the "The Great Escape" quest. Drowners will have a harder time killing Nidas during the "Black Pearl" quest. Fixes an issue which led to an infinite loading screen during the "To Bait a Forktail..." quest under certain circumstances. Fixes a rare issue where the basement was locked during the "King's Gambit" quest. Fixes an issue where players were unable to free the merchant during the Person in Distress event in the Claywich area. The trolls at the Circle of Elements will no longer attack Geralt if he opts for a peaceful resolution. Fixes an issue where players were unable to talk to Roche during the "Brothers in Arms" quest. Fixes an issue where Zoltan's card was unobtainable. GENERAL: Preparatory features paving the way for the introduction of New Game + in the future.
  21. I disagree. The data shows that this last IB, the Red Death was not only used more, but also the Kill % was higher than Hawkmoon. The Last Word was actually higher than Hawkmoon as well.
