The Start button is a search, it just limits it to the programs on your machine. If you actually use the specific search bar within the Start menu itself, this will then scan every indexed file on your machine, and I don't mean the titles, I mean the contents. It is rock solid. I really enjoy it so far, however I am going to advise everyone to NOT upgrade at this point. There are a ton of built in trackers that can all be turned off, I don't really have a problem with this. Win10 appears to be streamlined to work on laptops, tablets, phones, and desktops without any real changes needed. Which is good in my opinion. The problem I have currently, is even if you turn off/ block every tracker and aid out there, Win10 will still send in to MS everything you type into the Start menu, as well as any installed Bing searches. (I don't honestly care about Bing searches, every search engine compiles what you search for, this is nothing new, and will continue as long as we have search engines) Here is the kicker, within the USA, this is in direct violation of several credit card protection laws, as well as HIPAA. So, I keep looking at all the videos and random announcements lately, and one thought keeps popping into my head. (Also one piece of info popped up that I am trying to verify) TL;DR - The Beta is definitely over now. It "feels" to me like Bungie finally got their heads out of their Ass and are making the game we wanted all along. The game clearly grew way to fast for them to handle. Their are loads of reports out there that indicate this, there is also a former Dev interview that had a bit of an emotional breakdown from working on Destiny. The Dev's comments don't slam Bungie at all, but they do point to a number of things that have lead to Destiny's lackluster game. Drama around Martin O'Donnell quitting Destiny Lead writer quit/ walked away. Project handed to new writer who dumped all the original writers stuff (Until now) Activision had a much larger hand in Destiny's original development and the dev of VoG and CE. They are gone now, and are only over the actual release of the game (This means getting the discs and downloads out there) Poor Management higher ups. The Former Dev had a lot to say about this, he pointed out that people with zero experience or education were put in Management positions because Bungie needed bodies. Then these "managers" were given impossible deadlines, and fired for not meeting them. Then the process started over again (This is what EA and Ubisoft do, so I was shocked to hear that Bungie did this as well) The money grab mentality was real for Activision/ Bungie (I put activision first, as they were the drive behind this) There is a lot of good information out there right now; but like my TLDR states, I think we are all finally getting to the end of the BETA and will be playing the game we saw a few years ago soon. ......hopefully

I disagree with we can't compare the two. Especially with Blizzard/ Activision helping Bungie work on this. I dont' think it is a bad thing either. WoW from Vanilla -> Lich King was the best MMO. (Although, i still love DAoC more than WoW, but for different reasons) Bungie is clearly working towards a more Traditional RPG style progression. Which they should do. Light level was a great idea on paper; it was horrible in its implementation. Weapon upgrades and Armor upgrades is something that most MMO's should have implemented a long assed time ago, or so I thought, now I see why they never did it in most cases. I like the changes, I have no idea if they will implement them how we want them to though. All that being said, I think that Destiny needs to work towards Armor and Weapon Set bonuses, as well as allowing us to sink XP into weapons to upgrade them and get away from Shards and energies. (When I say sink XP, I mean literally you lose XP so your gear can gain it)

LOLZ Star Wars Prequels, Hobbit Trilogy, Every Live Action Transformers flick, hell, even the new Star Wars movies that haven't been released yet

I enjoyed this video because it showed to me that I no longer have a proper understanding or ability to spot what good CGI is anymore. Mad Max is a great example. The canyon scene, I thought was real. Benjamin Button is another prime example That video just really drives home that I need to not talk about CGI being good or bad anymore without seeing a "making of..." for the movie in question.

I was telling my wife about the changes, and she said the same exact thing. I am okay with it, if they do it. Biggest point of happiness for me, is I can get rid of the Hunter Armor shit in my vault for Faction. I am up to 80 from dismantling Knucklehead Radars.

It appears that Bungie is working with Activision on making Destiny. That being said, whenever a WoW Expansion came out, ALL of your current gear was dead. Do quests get green upgrades, Shard out your old purples, rinse repeat. I'm not saying this is a good thing, or that we all need to come to accept it. It just happens to be the "New Carrot" to keep folks playing. (New to the expansion, not new to the genre) COH/V was a much different game. Super heroes are all about the journey, I think thats why it was so successful and popular (I still have no idea why they killed it off, that game was vastly more popular than anything else that studio has done) So all this being said, I think folks need to prepare themselves mentally for this to be the new norm in Destiny.

With TTK killing off Light Levels. What do you think will be the in game story reason? Something will have to have happened to the Traveller to explain this
