Ubisoft have pushed back the release date once more - probably to avoid conflict with vastly more popular games like Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 and Monster Hunter Wilds. Unfortunately they have decided to choose the 30th anniversary of the Tokyo subway attack to release the game which is probably the final insult to Japan after already pissing them off already so much, with bullshit meaningless translations and making in-game assets out of prohibited cultural artifacts they didn't know the meaning of, which caused national outrage. Let's not forget this was the company that included hip-hop music in the trailer because they thought it would be 'appropriate' as the protagonist is black despite the game being set in the 16th century!
 
I don't think there is any company on the planet dumber than Ubisoft and the sooner they get taken over and culled the better. Another total shitshow from them.

I usually really enjoy Treyarch games and I was really looking forward to BO6.
The core gameplay is good as I enjoy fast paced games. This for me is ruined by the maps. A super fast game with tiny maps just doesn't work.
I'll probably try BO6 again next year to see if I enjoy it.

As we get older, we don't want to change. Easy to get stuck in a rut and not move with the times. Doesn't mean we should like what people do new, but games have to evolve and we must adapt sometimes to how new games move. As we haven't got the reflexes or the time we used to have (if you're moving 30+ and above here), then its pretty easy to see why the new games don't feel great. Quick movement on BO6 and smaller maps which means more gunfights. I still think its great we wreck as a team because thats they way to combat better individual players. I'll go on the old ones for Private games for good laughs with each other but they won't offer much more other than sweats that don't want to move on so therefore older games get even harder. My 2p.

That's how I feel about the BO6 maps. Vault is a decent map, Rewind isn't bad. The rest are either too small to be fun to play on or just straight dogshit (Vorkuta and Red Card).

Meat was good, Rio is decent and tanked was really cool. 
 
Everything else is 5 or 6 outta 10 maps for me. 
Sure Greece looks great appearance wise, but playing on it wasn't much fun. 
A lot of these DLC maps were just boring and forgettable for me unfortunately. 

Sledgehammer released a load of new maps every season. Yes they had a few remastered maps. The new ones are listed below. They also released a few 2v2 maps but I've no interest in 2v2 so didn't list them, and they put a few from the new MW2 in there.

Yet they're miles better than what we have in BO6. I tend to vote for the new maps if they show up anyway. 

Quite ironic that I was sick of the OG MW2 maps in this game but after playing BO6 and the absolutely awful maps in that game, I'm quite happy to go back to this game and play the maps again 🤣

I have deleted this game already. I just can't deal with the maps. Probably the worst launch maps of any COD. I've gone back to MW3. The DLC maps from that game are far better than the maps we have in this game (Rio is better than every single map in BO6). Plus I can use Ghost AND Ninja (or the MW3 equivalents) at the same time.

I'm already bored of this game and considering uninstalling it. It's a decent game ruined by absolutely piss poor maps.

After a month of playing on this game, I refuse to play on Babylon, Nuketown or Subsonic. They are all just awful to play on unless you like getting constantly spawn killed. 
Payback is just about tolerable. 
Scud is just weird as sometimes it's OK and other it's just annoying. 
Vault is still my favourite and I like Hideout. Rewind is decent. 
The other are all just very average. 

Red Card is a 50/50 map for me. Inside and the stadium side is great, really enjoy every battle those sides. Outside the front it is just way too open and not enjoyable. For most objective games it works well as not much is out in the open.
 
New Extraction makes it feel sweaty to play as some hardpoints are just wide open from lots of angles. No.3 on the Helipad is horrid. You can also get spawn captured at the sea end.

I've no idea how people like all of the tiny cluster fuck maps 🤷‍♂️ All you do is get constantly spawn killed.

Need to rename this game to Call of Babylon. Seems to be the only map I play on.

The campaign for this is fucking shiiiiit. One of the worst I've played. I'm just doing it to get the blueprints. It's a chore.

The game's not too bad but I think as with a few of the multiplayer games I am playing at the moment they have just been done to death. No matter what way you look at this it is just another COD, much in the same way as fifa is just another fifa each year and as I get older, my gameplay time is reducing at the moment and I want to spend it on better experiences rather than rehashes of yesteryear.
 
I will play this on and off but I am going to limit my gameplay, rather than playing all evening it will be an hour or 2 and then done so I don't burn myself out with it.
 
I have had some great games mind and do frequently come top 3 which is always good with these games, being competitive in what is an environment geared towards a younger, quicker audience!
 
I do like the gameplay, the omni movement I am getting used to and kind of like it, guns are a bit meh. The maps are generally crap though for me, I think there are 2 or 3 I kind of like but on the whole they are crap. Mostly too small or too big which results in often being killed from spawn or running for minutes and finding no one only to get shot by someone sitting in a corner and having to do it again... The football stadium map could have been good but I think that's a prime example of how not to do a COD map for me.
 
Babylon as mentioned above, I don't mind it but it is a clusterf*ck so you have to be in the mood for that.
