My shirt has made the trip over the Atlantic! I cannot get over how wonderful of a gesture this was, Lee. Can't show enough appreciation. Sorry about the selfie, didn't want to ask Beth to take modeling photos of me.

Dunkirk. Not good, not bad. Kind of similar to "The Revenant" as in there were 15 minutes of total dialog. Overall I feel so neutral on the entire movie. I liked reading about it in a history book more than I liked watching it.

It was an amazing game crippled by Peer 2 Peer server hosting. Now with dedicated servers it could be a blast again.

OPERATION HEALTH - UPDATE 2.2.2 - PATCH NOTES The 2.2.2 patch is arriving on all platforms on August 9th, 2017. This is a very important patch as we will be deploying the foundation for many upcoming improvements to the game in Season 3, alongside some key bug fixes. Operation Health will be concluding with the Season 3 Title Update, and we have a lot of exciting changes coming up. DEDICATED SERVERS FOR CUSTOM MATCHES While Custom Matches have been hosted on dedicated servers since February 2016, we will be reducing the requirements to host a Custom Match and have it remain on dedicated servers. Previously, players were required to have a full lobby (10 players) within 10 minutes of starting the match for it to be hosted on a server, as opposed to being hosted via peer to peer. Once this feature has been deployed, you will only need two players in a Custom Match lobby to ensure that your match will be hosted on a dedicated server. By reducing the total number of players required to host a Custom Match on a dedicated server, it will open up more possibilities for an improved gaming experience, even when you don’t want to play a full 5v5 match. Another impact of the move to dedicated servers for Custom Matches is that player hosted online lobbies will no longer be available. For players to host a match alone, they will need to utilize the LAN mode. DEDICATED SERVERS FOR TERRORIST HUNT Host migration in Terrorist Hunt is going to be a thing of the past. We will be hosting all Terrorist Hunt matches on dedicated servers starting in the near future. This will allow for a more stable experience for those of you who wish to take on the White Masks! DEDICATED SERVERS FOR IN-GAME VOICE CHAT WITH VIVOX INTEGRATION Communication between teammates in Rainbow Six is essential. With that in mind, we will be implementing an improved integrated voice chat service for all platforms that will be hosted on dedicated servers. Vivox will allow for more clear voice communication, all while using less total bandwidth. This new voice chat solution will provide all players with an ability to more clearly communicate with their teammates, especially after one of them Fuzes the hostage. We will be rolling this out to PC first, and console deployment later to ensure a high quality launch. MORE ACCURATE VAULTING ANIMATION WHILE AIMING The animation for vaulting through a window while aiming has been tweaked to reflect where the vaulter is aiming. In the past, the aiming animation took a short amount of time to reflect where the vaulter was actually aiming, which sometimes cause some confusion for an enemy watching the vault. This change in 2.2.2 will fix this so that the enemy player will know where the vaulter is aiming. GIF regarding vault animation LUCKY SEVENTH - ELITE PULSE SET Unlock the Luck Seventh elite bundle for Pulse on August 9th! This unique bundle introduces a head-to-toe customization that will make you really stand out in the winning screen. Purchasing the bundle unlocks the Oscillator weapon skin for the M1014, UMP45, 5.7 USG and M45 Meusoc along with Wavelength gadget skin for Pulse's HB-5 Cardiac Sensor, Slick Victory Animation, Elite Pulse Chibi Charm and Lucky Seventh Uniform. Elite Pulse Preview Artwork THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT! As a thank you for your continued support to Rainbow Six Siege and Operation Health, we are happy to administer the R6 Caduceus charm. Every player who has played Rainbow Six Siege from the start of Operation Health from May 23rd to the start of Season 3 in late August will receive this charm. Operation Health charm Image EXCLUSIVE OPERATION HEALTH GIFT FOR YEAR 2 PASS OWNERS! We appreciate your engagement to Rainbow Six Siege. As a thank you for your continued support as a Year 2 Pass owner, we are happy to offer you Doc’s Gauze headgear and the Mended weapon skin. This applies to all players who own the Year 2 Season Pass. If you purchase the Year 2 Pass at any point until it expires, you will still receive these two items. Operation Health Headgear Image Operation Health revolver skin FEATURES DEPLOYING AFTER 2.2.2 AND DURING SEASON 3 The goal of Operation Health is to provide a more stable foundation to build the future of Rainbow Six Siege. As part of that, we need to be absolutely certain that the new servers being introduced have gone through sufficient testing. As such, we have been utilizing the Technical Test Server (“TTS”) to run a series of tests on these upcoming features. We ran a TTS phase last week that was focused on these server upgrades, and will have a few more in the future to test the servers, as well as some of the other peer-to-peer feature removals. The results of each TTS phase will be reviewed by our teams. If we find an issue during one of the TTS phases, then it could potentially lead to a delay in the live deployment. The goal is to provide players with better quality servers, and more stability, which means we need to ensure that our changes are 100% ready to deploy live before we do. Upgraded Servers These servers have improved hardware over the servers that are currently in use, allowing for a smoother overall gameplay experience. The extent of these improvements will range from hit registration, and desyncs, to overall latency. While we are excited for you to test this new technology on the TTS, the final deployment date cannot be determined prior to data collection from these tests. Peer to Peer Removal We will be removing Peer to Peer voice and party features from the game in the future. This means that you will have an easier time connecting to your friends and forming parties, as well as a more fluid VOIP experience to facilitate communication with your teammates. To avoid any misconceptions, all Ranked, Casual, and some Custom Matches are currently hosted on dedicated servers. Peer to Peer removal is not related to the hosting of the actual matches. Favorite family meal? Favorite fast food restaurant? What food or type of food could you eat every day and never get sick of it? What food do you hate but seemingly everyone likes? What's your favorite restaurant? My wife makes something called 'Million Dollar Spaghetti Bake." It's basically spaghetti with all the fixing in a casserole dish and cooked in the oven. Whataburger! But now since I am no longer in Texas it really depends on the feeling but I do have a guilty pleasure for McDonalds. I could eat Chinese food every day of the week and not think twice about it, Bethany hates Chinese food so I typically eat this solo once every other month. I hate raw vegetables. Steam them and I love them, raw and I feel like I'm eating dirt. Favorite restaurant right now is a place called "Butcher and The Boar" in Minneapolis. It's just meat... their appetizers are meat plates, followed with more meat.

Two Crucible Maps and Modes - The classic Control will be playable, as well as the new Countdown mode, which is attack and defend based. For PC players Javelin-4 will replace the Midtown map. Control on Javelin-4 Countdown on Midtown Destiny 2 System Requirements Bungie recently revealed the Destiny 2 PC requirements, which are divided into 'minimum' and 'recommended' categories. Both categories are just below: Destiny 2 PC Beta Recommended Specs: GPU: Nvidia - GeForce GTX 970/AMD - Radeon R9 390 CPU: Intel - Core i5-2400/AMD - Ryzen R5 1600X Memory: 8GB RAM OS: Windows 10 Destiny 2 PC Beta Minimum Specs: GPU: Nvidia - GeForce GTX 660 2GB/AMD - Radeon HD 7850 2GB CPU: Intel - Core i3-3250/AMD - FX-4350 Memory: 6GB RAM OS: Windows 10 It should be noted that these specs can change from the beta to the full game, when Destiny 2 eventually releases on PC on October. Bungie have stated as much in the official announcement post on Bungie.net, where the developer warned players that the PC specs for the beta might not necessarily be the same for the full game. Destiny 2 PC Version Detailed Towards the end of the game play reveal shown on May 18, Activision announced that Destiny 2 would be available for PC players exclusively through Battle Net, with players being able to find each other through the online service. In addition to this, it's possible that Destiny 2 on PC will run at native 4K resolution, as well as 60FPS uncapped.

Reddit Co-Founder Alexis Ohanian Reveals Favorite Post
The3rdWalker replied to The3rdWalker's topic in Any General Discussion
So the funniest part about this segment was when Kimmel started going through a reddit member's post history and the shit that shows up on the big screen. The guy on reddit posted a "today i fucked up" post and it was amazing. -
So there are multiple roles within the world of competitive Rainbow 6 Siege, think of them like sporting positions. --- offense --- Entry Fragger: (Frags are kills). This is your team mate who is pushing into an objective hard to get that initial kill (frag) and attempts to disrupt the enemy team early on/ kill the enemy roamers. Typically you will have someone drone in the entry fragger so you can guide them, or warn them about potential threats. Flex: These are operators who are generally META dependent, and change with the map you're on... like using a Capitão, and Hibana on Oregon. These are your most versatile players in this spot, they usually are the ones droning our your entry fragger. This role can also change into a secondary frag player the later the round goes... (dropping into a hatch, planting the bomb, etc) Thatcher is a good example of a flex character, when his job is done you typically cycle into a more aggressive role. Support: This is kind of a confusing role. Currently the meta calls for using Blackbeard almost 90% of the time. This role evolves as the round goes on as a Flex player tends to be considered support early on. As a Blackbeard player your job is to hold angles and locking down certain avenues the enemy team can take as well as defending the bomb when the plant goes down. Utility: Buck, Sledge, Twitch, and in some cases IQ. A lot of teams play a very vertical game style... breaking floors to get angles above the enemy team, or below. You will need grenades pure and simple. The Twitch comes into play if you're team is getting beat up by an opposing Mira. --- defense --- Support/ Anchor: Typically Mira, Echo, Smoke, Rook (not currently in meta), and Doc (can be played if you have a free operator, especially useful on maps where the offense can easily split the room in half with lines of fire.) I need to single out Smoke here. He will be seen every game just like Blackbeard as he is the main man for entry denial with his toxic smoke grenades. You generally need 2 supports, maybe 3 depending on bomb site. Smoke cannot die early in the round. Roamers: These are your 2, and 3 speed operators. This is entirely dependent on team strategies, but you always want 2 people playing off each other, have your main roamers (bandit and jager) learn to always trade off the others death, no death should go unanswered on the roam. Flex: Pulse, Valk, and Castle... these guys can roam they can play site (It's recommended trying to do both in the same round, either early roam or late roam, important if an operator with a shotgun can make rotation holes for them to move freely) Some common team comps: Offense: Buck, Ash, Hibana, Thermite, Blackbeard... Twitch, Thatcher, Ash, Blackbeard, Thermite Defense: Jager, Pulse, Bandit, Smoke, Mira
