  3. Robert Kirkman Explains Governor’s Absence on ‘The Walking Dead’ Friday, November 8th, 2013 at 1:45pm PST- by Kevin Melrose When The Governor, the psychopathic ruler of Woodbury played by David Morrissey, survived the attack on the Prison in the Season 3 finale of The Walking Dead, many viewers presumed he’d return, guns blazing, in Season 4. But after four episodes, there’s not been a sign of him. Of course, Rick Grimes and the other Prison inhabitants have plenty of other threats to occupy their time. But still, it’s difficult not to wonder just what happened to Philip Blake, an ever-present menace during the previous season. As Executive Producer Robert Kirkman explains to The Hollywood Reporter, it was simply a matter of just too much Governor. “It’s not that we don’t like that character,” said Kirkman, who created The Governor with artist Charlie Adlard in the pages of the comic. “It’s just that we needed to give that character a break. Going right back into that would seem like more retread of Season 3 and that’s the thing we don’t want to do.” He said The Governor’s absence amid the survivors’ other trials — a deadly flu outbreak, a killer in their midst and a mysterious figure tolling in walkers to the Prison — serves to heighten the the anxiety. “Viewers are watching this the entire time knowing that The Governor could emerge from anywhere at any time and add another threat to whatever these characters are dealing with — it adds another layer of tension,” Kirkman explained. “We wouldn’t be able to do that if we move right into his story.” And when he does return sometime in this 16-episode season, The Governor will likely be a changed man — and not for the better. “We like to keep people guessing and he definitely will return this season,” Kirkman said. “Just when you think things are getting to a breaking point, that’s when The Governor layer will be thrown in to make things that much more deadly and dangerous. It’s going to be a really big, memorable moment in the show.”
  4. I sent the following message to some big youtubers, hopefully they don't get lost in the sea of messages they get and they will make a video to address this. I recommend more try to get this issue known and resolved. COD ISSUE - NEEDS ADDRESSED To complete the challenges, they have to be within the current operations menus. If they are not there, you don't get credit. This is a bad idea because some of the challenges only happen once or twice during the whole gameplay cycle. (All Pro) for example. I think this issue needs addressed with the developers. This is a huge change over past titles. This also means your character clothes don't unlock unless the challenges are also in your current set of operations. So you can't get the Ghillie Suit unless the Chrome Barrel challenge is there, for example.
  5. who is the frontman that we bring this issue to? AkA the Robert Bowling of Cod Ghosts?
  6. map specific care package killstreaks
  7. Yep. I already got the All Pro challenge (2 headshots, 1 shot) but nope, no challenge accepted for me.
  8. That's why its bullshit. Some of those challenges might happen one time in the whole year. You're SOL if it just happen to not be in there.
  9. It looks like I've been wasting my time trying to unlock the ghillie suit because the challenge required for it wasn't in my operations menus. How to unlock character customization gear.
  10. I have only been to the House of Blues but that sounds neat. I have been to Cracker's a couple times in Indy. We saw Kramer from Seinfeld and Jessica had to go pee, she couldn't hold it any longer and he heckled her when she got up in the middle of his set. lol. She was embarassed of course.
  11. I agree, that was the first I'd heard of it. It looks like there have been a lot of different comedians on it.
  12. Apparently, The Set List, equals improv about whatever pops up on screen. Interesting.
  13. Just stumbled across this and thought I'd share. Do you have any Stand Up Comedians you would like to share as well? Mark Wahlberg Impression
  14. Man sorry to hear dude. I feel for you. I dropped 60 bucks on BO1 on Ps3 and it was utter shite. I really wish the FOV was higher on consoles. It looks awesome.
  15. lol, really? wow, I wouldn't have thought of that. I guess my mind ain't dirty enough.
  16. lol, nice. Seriously though, how do you humiliate in this game? I picked up a field order and it said "humilitate your next opponent" ?
  17. Yeah, I know what you're doing, waiting for those christmas noobs. What, you intimidated? lol
  18. Thanks man, be sure to let us know
  19. One thing that concerns me is the danger close / noob tube. Has anyone tried using this set up yet? God I hope its not like Mw2
  20. I felt like Bo1 was when the shooting around corners started to pop up. For me anyway. As far as Ghosts goes, you can't even make it around the corner, lol.
  21. I am wondering if taking out theater is the why the connection is so good? Thinking about it, it hasn't felt this solid since mw2 and it was all theater after that. I will miss that damn theater though
  22. I thought BO2 was just fine. I didn't have all the rage about the game that came with previous titles (especially mw3 which was just way too chaotic) That is the #1 thing that I hate in COD, dying through no fault of your own. Getting spawn pooped on and shit like that. If you can't control your own life, you feel helpless and then the game just sucks ass. But please someone explain how these maps are huge and we still have shitty spawns from time to time. lol
  23. i just added that bit in so people knew about it. I am not using a handgun and opting for the perk instead. It might be confusing that you can't switch to your knife, meaning people might think that also means you can't pick up a secondary. But you can.
