I was talking to Rich the other night and I think we could defintely start to do this more often. Clearly @tronic44 and @Greboth are the video montage people here that can knock up a montage reasonably quickly so I'm suggesting we have a regular easy routine of: Playing Overwatch Recording gameplay Grabbing the videos stored to put in a central location Rich/Greboth to work their magic The easy bit is just deciding what days all videos need to be with the pair. The medium bit is where to store it. The hardest part is getting the videos off the playstation IF they need to be done in a set way. I'm happy to try out the USB way of doing it but it'll be unfair on the ones that don't have a PC so maybe we trial one with just youtube videos uploads to see what the comparison is? Alright people I have made it my duty to get a list of each of us that plays Overwatch, along with a list of characters you feel you can play as to a good standard on competitive. We need to start getting better to compete with other teams of 6 players and I figured this would be a good way to start. Ello everybody! I eluded to doing this in the September update and its something I came across that happened 4 years ago in fact. Dave did something great for this community and in the 3 ish years I've been here it's absolutely what we're all about. Original links below. I think it's the best thing we can do for each other on things we all love. I'm expecting to do this via a raffle system either similar to the previous way or if we can get something special on FG to show it all of then we'll try to do it that way but that's dependent on getting things installed and time. Let's start seeing how many things we can get hold of to giveaway to each other. I'm initially going to source as much as I can find. I appreciate any donations on this one. Hi All, We're gonna try and meet up in a few weeks at the Arcade Club in Manchester on Saturday November 25th. I believe its £10 to get in and you can play all types of games for free all day. I've already booked a room for Stretch, Chris and myself for £87 at the local Travelodge Bury (Little 66). A double room is £81 so its either 30 or 40 quid if you can get 2 or 3 to stay together. I'll link it later if people can't find it. Be good if you can make it. Let us know if you can make it and you can use this thread to sort out a pair or triple room yourselves. Looking forward to it! I'm still amazed by the awesome effort you've all put in lately, it feels like the place has some brilliant energy kicking around the place and I know that lots want to help out. I've always stated and will always remain on the side of this place is all of ours as We Are FG. I don't want to waste the great effort by everybody and there are quite a few things i'm continually working on and trying to improve and tweak wherever I can in the time I have. That's why its vital we all share your view here because I could come across something you may have thought about might not be possible. I wanted to focus and get your thoughts on the Forum topics, posts and structure. We haven't changed it for a while and I think that's overall a good thing, however I want to touch base with you all to ask you the following: Do you like the current sections? Is there sections you would love to have? Games or non-games? What types of posts do you want to see? Should we have a site FAQ section? Anything else related to posts and starting threads? Two things I'll start with that I would love to get your thoughts and energy into: Consider pulling Destiny out of Shooters and creating a forum section on it's own, sitting above Shooters, then have specific sub-forums underneath for all things Destiny. Main reason was to help generate the interest around the game and help new people come and find stuff easier than in one large section. Generating more stuff for the Motors section - I only created this as I know a shed load of you are into cars and bikes so it would be good to see a little more content Consider a racing sub-forum under Sports Lets hear what you think people and don't be scared to bring up anything. I can't promise it'll be done but whatever we can do you know I'll my best to do it. Thanks FG

It's been a pretty busy for month for us all with most people I know of here having lots of home and work life stuff to do. Oh, and Destiny 2 got released Needless to say it's been great seeing so many new faces around and the initial buzz about the place from my view has been great. Thanks for all coming to see the home and contributing where you have done. A decent summary of September could be put as follows: 20 new FG members with many of those writing intro posts 73 FGers signing in alone and checking by to see what's occurring Out of those 60 active FG members (The total number of members who submitted new content, followed something, or reacted to something on the community in the specified time period) 77 people make up the Destiny Clan Roster, Xbox and PC Clan Rosters created First 4 weeks of Destiny obtained nearly all Clan engrams and weekly XP cap. 1 raid and 2 trials engrams only missing across those weeks Brand new FG 7 Days to Die Server (thanks @tronic44) FG Minecraft server gaining a few extra people and community project started 11 names down for the Internal Rocket League Tournament Cards Against Humanity event nights Multiple raid events and starting see some progression through parts of it with most of FG now 1,825 new posts (c.26% increase on previous month, c.178% increase on Sept 2016) I could go on but above all this it's how everyone feels hear. I've heard directly from some of the new people that they are really happy to be a part of this family. I am too and I hope the regulars feel the same. As Destiny starts to become less grindy, now the real effort and view of this place is on my mind and possibly others. This place is for ALL games, not just Destiny. We equally have fun talking about other random stuff too. Let that continue and the only way for that to happen is to keep coming here and enjoying what others post and playing together. Now we're in October, I'd love to see what more we can do. My thoughts? Okay: Help all Destiny clan people to do experience Nightfalls and the Leviathan Raid Expand what other new games we enjoy playing Kick off our FG Rocket League tournament! Progress the Minecraft community Project Get more involved in all games and servers we have Help FG newbies intergrate with the rest of us Start seeing new PPRs (like @Mikepjbell) and see existing ones carry on with the fun thats happening Install some new applications that allow us to make this place greater and more diverse Start a mass FG collection for a Winter giveaway The last one i ssomething I seen happen when this place first started and one i'm keen to resurrect. The family is epic at helping out others, spending time to support each other when they need it and send gifts to people just because we care. We need a larger meet up. I've spoken to quite a few of you and I know this can work so lets make sure we can get as many FGers there as possible. Event - Eurogamer 2017 (EGX 2017) Venue - NEC, Birmingham When - Fri 22nd & Sat 23rd - We need to decide whether we should do one night or two nights. 2 would be great but I get it may be down to availability and cost. Cost - Tickets are £19 for Friday and £23 for Saturday. Entry 11am to 7pm. Gut reaction is try and find hotels cheap enough for 2 nights and go to Eurogamer on Saturday. If more can afford it and can book a day off then some/all can do Friday too but we could all meet up Friday night, get settled and then have a good old time on the Saturday at Eurogamer with a few beers along the way. Hotels will probably be £20-30 each so not much at all if we're block booking. I'd love to find us a spot where we can all have to ourselves but not sure where that will be just yet. Just thinking that we have a hell of a lot of members and very soon most if not all will be a Power level that can be competent going into the Leviathan Raid. However, we're struggling to get some of the raids done of late, mainly because of the practice you do need to run in them. I'm thinking instead of setting up times in the idea it's the 'whole raid', maybe we can split it out so 1-2 hours is set aside for a section of the raid; Dogs, Gauntlet, Baths, Calus? This way people can dedicate just a proportion of their night to do it but if really successful you can agree on those times to crack on and get more done. Once more of us run the relevant sections more often, we all become much more smoother as we go through the raid. How does that work for the newer people? Does this also work for the more experienced people? I want to make sure people enjoy this game and we, as a clan, are helping each other as much as we can. The way the raid is set out is that its like mini bosses each section so some could breeze through, other sections and nights could be a little longer. Thoughts on this people? We have c.70 people on PS4 alone....

I was talking to @TigerBurge the other day and was thinking about other stuff we can do alongside the grind and the exploration of stuff we all have left to do. One thing was challenges where it is just FG people to have a bit of laugh which puts ourselves through things we can do on Destiny but with a twist or objective. For example, a straightforward one may be just Fastest Nighfall times. We could keep a track of who comes where but its all about participation and seeing what we can do together, not always coming first (well, it helps, but you get my point ). Oh, and clearly it needs trust in you guys to expect to not cheat when doing these kind of things. So what types of dufferent and quirky activities should we do? List them down no matter if its one or 10 different ideas. We can then see what interests people here.

Lee and I are trying to keep these things up to date. WIth a bunch of new members joining and some older members that aren't there, I'm trying to send out the invites today. But i'm not friends with everyone and it's proving to be the task! So I'm asking for a bit of help if you guys could add some people that aren't there, please. Initially we had two separate communities, one for Destiny and Call of Duty. We came to the conclusion that it's best to just have one big community like here. So we changed the FG Destiny to just Forever Gaming [FG]. And whenever Lee has time he will do away with Forever Gaming - Call of Duty.
