Now F1 manager is out there must be people in FG that have been playing it.. 

Talk to me. Is it worth getting whilst it’s 20% off atm?

I was really looking forward to it and was ready to pick it up but the mediocre reviews and issues put me off.  With 20% it might be worth getting though.

I've had a brief look at what it offers and it seems to lack depth in key areas compared to other sports management games like FM and OOTP.

I still haven't had as I've not had much chance to try out new games, however 20% is decent for something like this. Whilst the reviews aren't all super amazing, i'd say for the first ever F1 Manager game to come out, it looks solid enough to buy it at discount. I expect them them to add more functionality in the next one they bring out, like multiplayer, but they'll learn from this one hopefully enough to keep this type of game going.

 

Playstation or PC for people who are thinking of getting it?
