Early days but this could be great news! I absolutely loved the first two games - the bullet time aspect was so unique as was the stylish noir presentation and atmosphere. They recent remade Alan Wake but this will be a bigger challenge. If they get it right, it could be a great package

Remedy and Rockstar Games have announced the two companies will work together on a remake of Max Payne and Max Payne 2 for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X and S.

I’m not gonna lie, I want really a big fan of this series.  If it’s a remake like the RE2 one that improves not only the visuals, but controls, I may have a look.  
 

I also feel the FEAR series did the whole “bullet time” thing better.

I remember playing the original on PS2? Was definitely good for it's time.

Max Payne looked really stylish especially with diving around corners but FEAR's particle effects really added so much more.
